  1. When disputing claimed misuse of copyrighted music, there NEEDS to be a free text field to explain WHY I have a right to include the music I have. You cannot possibly create dropdowns including all the possible explanations, and the current three options are woefully inadequate. In particular, for a platform claiming to be welcoming to musician streamers, it is APPALLING that you fail to allow for performances by the streamer (in which the performance rights therefore belong to the streamer) of compositions which are either traditional or anonymous, or upon which the copyright has expired (in which therefore no…

  2. The appeal for suspension of the account does not receive feedback other than an automatic response. Is it possible to provide feedback on all appeals without ignoring some?

  3. I would love to see Twitch implement a feature that allows Streamers to set up a hard block for users with XX (configurable by streamer) amount of currently active bans.

This feature alone would greatly reduce the serial trollers that do nothing but jump from stream to stream trolling and getting banned.

It would also be great to have a feature that allows Mods and Streamers alike to see how many active bans a viewer has.

    Thank you for your consideration.

  4. Many Partners flippantly break Twitch's Terms of service, many telling others to do so, in the process. If these are meant to be pillars of the community, they should uphold the standards better than anyone. Instead, they coast on their status to avoid anything beyond a 24-hour ban. This shows that they are not being held to the same standard as the rest of the creators on the platform. Partners who knowingly break the Terms and continue to do it when corrected should be stripped of Partner status.

  5. Sponsored gambling streams should not be allowed on Twitch because of Twitch's policies and sponsored gambling streams effects.

On the twitch safety center it states that community comes first and safety is personal. Allowing sponsored gambling steams on twitch goes against these policies by not first helping the community but rather turning a blind eye to them, and not the safety of those viewers as they are being exploited for profit.

Not allowing sponsored gambling steams will stop exportation of viewers for profit. The website pays the content creator to gamble on their gambling platform. They do this to get…

  7. The current system on Twitch where you have Mature Audience setting, you really need to add a better Age Verification system than a button to confirm you are of age. To me this is lazy age verification, you need to have actual age verification before being allowed to watch streams that are marked for Mature Audience. It's such a simple process where you can confirm your age once with a third-party entity that can verify your actual age with official documents, so no documents are handled by Twitch directly, thus keeping the security and confidentiality of it's users sensitive information.

  8. I'd really love to have a content warning system similar to the tag system. It would auto-populate based on the current game or let streamers add warnings for Just Chatting or Talkshow streams. I'd prefer the system to be more opt-in than a popup every time you enter a stream. It would have a button near the category and tags part of the UI that reveals relevant warnings. It would be super nice if it could be user configurable to display a pop up only if a user navigates to a stream that contains a warning they've chosen to be…

  9. Mostly because this happened to me, but I have a channel blocked. I have had them blocked for a very long time for various off-platform reasons. I received a randomly gifted sub for said channel today.

If you have a channel blocked you should not be able to randomly receive a gifted sub for said channel. I understand there's an option to prevent receiving gifted subs to channels you don't follow, but in this instance, I didn't think I had to worry about that since the person was blocked already.

  10. I have license to play music from Monstercat. I have a playlist with content creator tracks (no non-licensable tracks). My past 6 streams, I get muted audio. I know exactly what the muted audio is used for, which is muting "copyrighted songs". Which is true, but I pay license to play them. Now, I edit my streams, music still in my videos, and upload them on YouTube, but I don't get claimed there. This is all in Twitch's end. I hope this can be fixed, because I pay money to pay money so I don't get claimed, or muted audio,…

  11. Put together a comprehensive list of games that could put streamers at risk of DMCA. Similar to how there is a banned list of games not allowed to play on Twitch (outdated). This DMCA list would need to be updated frequently.

Maybe also with a description of what could cause a strike in the game. Would allow for at risk games to still be streamed and promoted, but would allow streamers to be more prepared to mute if necessary.

  13. I have recommendations that not only helps users, but more importantly protect TWITCH itself.

    • Number the policies into clear enforceable points(e.g. policy SC-2b-iv)
    • In enforcement emails, show clear timestamps that shows the violation and quote the policy number violated using the numbering above.

Making the policy itself is a difficult, intricate task which requires multi-faceted considerations that may be obscure to the general user. Thus I trust twitch has qualified specialists for the actual policy creation. However vague ENFORCEMENT leaves the corporate vulnerable to public image attacks that is extremely dangerous especially for a corporate which depends on advertisers. Clearly…

  14. Sexual Themes new classification child nudity.

Due to the recent content policy update - sexual themed artists are now drying children/lolis naked on Twitch. Absolutely get RID of this. As well as give us the option to block ALL channels using the Sexual Themes tag - I do not want to see a big dog or dragon genitalia on Twitch - that is not why I'm using the platform, I do not want to see nudity - that is not why I'm using the platform.

I cannot imagine how this went over your heads before releasing this content policy update…

  15. According to google and people knowledge, sexual suggestiveness is visual, verbal, written or behavioral material or action with sexual undertones implying sexual intent in order to provoke sexual arousal.

Said that, how come your website allows people, like Amouranth for example, to stream, clearly, sexual suggestive content and not banning them properly? Besides the huge amount of money and attention that they bring to Twitch. It would be a shame if your company started to be correlated as an Open Door for children to ingress into ***********. Remembering that Twitch started and still is a streaming game domain that has…

  16. I was indefinitely banned almost 18+ months ago and followed the appropriate appeal steps and was never given a decision or explanation for why I was banned. Is Twitch ever going to address their moderation, banning procedure or appeals process?

  17. I'm a streamer on this platform, and have been for quite a few years. I would like to talk about some issues that I have with the new code of conduct of community guidelines if you would give me the chance, and that would be the dress code here on twitch.

Twitch is a platform for all who wish to voice their opinions, play games, or provide any sort of entertainment, and I'm all for supporting that. However, there is an on-going problem that I am noticing every day, and it's getting worse. I am a female streamer on twitch.…

  18. I like to drink rum while I stream. It's kind if my thing. Since I drink a couple of glasses of alcohol, twitch is forcing me to add the alcohol classification, which is fine, but why am I now being forced to brand my stream with "Drugs, Intoxication, or Excessive Tobacco Use" in big letters under my stream?

I don't want my stream to be associated with drug use. Seperate these labels so people know exactly what they're watching instead of such a broad classification of completely different things.

  19. Idea: Changes or the very least, more transparency on what constitutes as a ban from twitch in regards to breaking streamer guidelines. I also think it'd be fair as well if someone was banned unfairly, how they can have their repeal submission process proceed in an efficient and transparent manner as well.

Examples: Several esports players who have admitted to harassment, grooming, and assault on other community have their accounts still up and not banned (anti, cinnepie). Inversely, [removed specific streamer reference] who has new evidence from a lawsuit showing they were in fact a victim of **** has had…

  20. Clips created from streams with Sexual Themes label should also be labled as Sexual Themes and NOT be recommended under other clips.
