1. Spam Bot Ads and Spam Follow Bot

   Usual Spam Bots, the last in time "Bigfollow"

   Use anti-bot system with algorythms to detect these kind of bot, who the the same sentence with variations, characters variations, space variations, etc...

   Twitch detection should learn and create auto-detection for them :
   a user enter a channel, post one message and leave, enter another channel, post the same message (or same message with variation) and leave..

   Twitch please use an auto-detection, and ban them.
   And allow users to the new words to that "keyword list used in sentence by spam bot"

   The same for the FOLLOW-BOT, they just enter a channel, follow, unfollow immediatly, just to activate the trigger and display their "ads username", and they continue, enter a new channel, follow, unfollow...

2. Sexual suggestiveness out of control

   According to google and people knowledge, sexual suggestiveness is visual, verbal, written or behavioral material or action with sexual undertones implying sexual intent in order to provoke sexual arousal.

   Said that, how come your website allows people, like Amouranth for example, to stream, clearly, sexual suggestive content and not banning them properly? Besides the huge amount of money and attention that they bring to Twitch. It would be a shame if your company started to be correlated as an Open Door for children to ingress into ***********. Remembering that Twitch started and still is a streaming game domain that has direct contact with children in many ways.

   So, what about this becoming, some day in the future, a huge CNN news relating Twitch to kids watching sexual suggestive content?

   You guys need to make your mind, because this subject is becoming every time bigger and bigger. And besides the free marketing that you are earning with this right now. In the future, it's gonna cost you a lot of money. Streamers, like Asmodan (that moves around 50k viewers per stream) already said that can't work in a domain that is directly correlated with child expose to sexual suggestive content. And I'm glad with this, because, as a viewer, I definitely would support and use a stream domain that has real politics against this topic.

   As I was saying, this is a path with no return. This kind of subject is unhealthy for the community, is not good for your business and it's even terrible from a social perspective view.

   Think about it, before it gets too big to handle. Because you are no longer alone in the actual stream market and people are aware about whats happening on Twitch.

4. Number the policy/guidelines and having clear details in enforcement emails

   I have recommendations that not only helps users, but more importantly protect TWITCH itself.

   • Number the policies into clear enforceable points(e.g. policy SC-2b-iv)
   • In enforcement emails, show clear timestamps that shows the violation and quote the policy number violated using the numbering above.

   Making the policy itself is a difficult, intricate task which requires multi-faceted considerations that may be obscure to the general user. Thus I trust twitch has qualified specialists for the actual policy creation. However vague ENFORCEMENT leaves the corporate vulnerable to public image attacks that is extremely dangerous especially for a corporate which depends on advertisers. Clearly communicated, consistent enforcement will protect TWITCH, and show integrity to users, stakeholders AND advertisers.

   Numbering the policy could also help fix internal references. For instance in the Civility and Respect FAQ the "sexually suggestive content policy" is mentioned but is no longer called as such, so it can't be found easily. It could instead be a policy number hyperlink.

   Here's an example of how I would suggest enforcement:
   "Hello akuasmr. At 18:05:00 of your 12-06-24 stream, we detected "prolonged audio that implies sex" mentioned in Policy SC-2A-iii." (images: https://twitter.com/Rhubarb_314/status/1736039641726210196)

   Here I used a vague 'implication' type policy here on purpose, because it shows how it also opens the court to clear, transparent, respectful dialogue. Akuasmr can now contest upon clear understanding, instead of possibly defaming twitch on social media which would not serve twitch.

   Another positive to numbering the policies is the ability to track issues. Community strikes and bans can then be tracked by what policy violation it was based on. This could be compiled into extremely valuable feedback statistics to inform policy makers of any arising issues. For instance if there is a spike in SC-7 (Prohibited Gambling Content) violations, it can automatically raise a warning to allow moderators to take actions quickly.

   Whatever the case, I only wish the best to Twitch and all the amazing content creators on twitch.

   Regardless of where your policy makers choose to take it, I hope this suggestion will help protect the relationship between users, advertisers, shareholders and Twitch and its policy makers!

5. Stop giving sexually explicit streamers special treatment and get rid of that content

   Twitch has become known for giving sexually explicit streamers not only special treatment when it comes to moderation but when it comes to rule enforcement as well. There are tons of examples of streamers being banned 5+ times for sexual content and still only getting 2 day bans max. It would be nice if twitch didn't turn their site into a hotspot for **** addicts. If twitch wants to go in the direction of being an alternative to chaturbate or pornhub live then put that into a separate site and don't lump those "creators" in with everyone else who just want to have make actual entertaining content.

   Twitch is slowly becoming a cam site with all the different sexual metas that people can abuse to easily get partner with very little punishment on site for doing so. Thats not even mentioning that the minimum age for twitch is 13 which is becoming more and more concerning the ****** the rules and enforcement gets on sexually explicit streams.

   The fact stuff like this is not only being allowed but encouraged is disgusting and it hurts not only the sites reputation as a whole but is sending a message of "its okay to break the rules as long as you make us money". Everyone on the platform is talking about how twitch is becoming a site for "cam models" and something needs to be done about it.

   Personally, I'm embarrassed to say I use this site because of its reputation of what equates to a cam site (even though I only use it for games). If twitch wants to do that sexually explicit content then it would be nice if they made a different place to host it. Until the rules are tightened greatly around sexual content, this site will always be an embarrassment for those who use it for games / creativity.

   Thats not even mentioning the harm I believe it does to female creators who don't do that type of content since it becomes expected of them and alot of women are harassed because a small group of them get special treatment.

6. No thumbnails for content classified w/ sexual themes on homepage

   When I logged on to twitch.tv today, on the homepage was an NSFW stream thumbnail. When clicking on the stream, the stream is tagged as "Significant Profanity or Vulgarity, Sexual Themes", so Twitch knows it's profane and sexual.

   Yet the thumbnail, which was of a woman with NSFW-amounts of clothing on, was the first thing on the site. There should not be NSFW thumbnails on the homepage of twitch.tv, unless I explicitly click on the stream.

7. Include Gender Conversion Therapy Ban in Community Guidelines

   The community guidelines currently prohibit the encouragement, the use of, or generally endorsing sexual orientation conversion therapy.

   This is good, but I would also like to see the same things being prohibited for gender conversion therapy.

   Transgender people - especially youth - are often forced to undergo conversion therapy by their parents, their religion, etc, in order to force them to stop being trans. Just like sexual orientation conversion therapy, this does not work and actually harms the person undergoing it.

   If Twitch truly cares about minorities, they need to include gender conversion therapy alongside sexual oreientation conversion therapy in their list of prohibited behaviours.

   it happens too much on this platform, streamers like sodapoppin directly insult viewers claiming his viewers are "retards and losers"
   well, its not pleasant experience hearing those things and if someone is disabled in someway might even feel sad or depressed hearing it

9. Getting muted audio from music I have licensed to play.

   I have license to play music from Monstercat. I have a playlist with content creator tracks (no non-licensable tracks). My past 6 streams, I get muted audio. I know exactly what the muted audio is used for, which is muting "copyrighted songs". Which is true, but I pay license to play them. Now, I edit my streams, music still in my videos, and upload them on YouTube, but I don't get claimed there. This is all in Twitch's end. I hope this can be fixed, because I pay money to pay money so I don't get claimed, or muted audio, and I'm getting muted audio.

10. A More Detailed Description of a TOS Violation for suspended/banned streamers.

    When a streamer is suspended or banned, that streamer has no idea what the actual violation was and when it took place.

    The violation is too vague and doesn't offer any specific details to the streamer and they have no idea when the specific violation took place. This is something streamers need so they don't make the same mistake again. If the TOS and Community Violations are being clarified, the same should go for the reason why a streamer was banned.

    A clearer understanding of the rules should come with a clearer understanding of when a violation occurred and will add the streamer in correcting the issue so it doesn't happen again.

    The notice of a ban/suspension should have more detail. An Example:

    [title or section of the TOS/Community Guidelines in violation]
    [Date(s) of Occourance]
    [Screenshot or sample clip of the violation(s)]
    [suggestions (if any) of how to correct the issue]
    [duration of suspension/ban or indication the ban is permanent]

    This example format would provide the suspended streamer with the proper details to correct the mistake and avoid doing it again in the future. This information would only be viewable to the suspended streamer via the email, as a respect to privacy and the per-case basis on Staff enforcement.

11. Lack of Clarity for Digital Avatars in new Nudity & Sexual Content Guidelines regarding Anthro Characters

    With the new Nudity & NSFW content guidelines, it has made it very unclear to a lot of people in my community, the VRChat Roleplay community, whether or not furry models and/or avatars are under the same level of scrutiny as human avatars are.

    On April 4, 2020, these rules were put into effect:

    How do the new rules about AR Avatars impact my content if I stream a virtual reality sandbox game like VRChat?
    - Our policy on Augmented Reality avatars applies to content where cameras and software are used to capture a person’s physical likeness and translate it into a digital overlay. VRChat is categorized as a game on Twitch, and in-game virtual reality models are not subject to our policy on Nudity and Attire. This content must still comply with our policy on Nudity and Sexual Content in Embedded Media and Games however, so you may not modify your game to include nudity, or make sexual elements a primary focus of your broadcast.

    Currently, the new ruling is this;
    - Augmented reality avatars that translate real-life movement into digital characters are subject to this standard

    Our community is now having to actively flag down furry models and tell them to cover up, but most of these furry models do not have any sort of issues with them as a lot of the models are from games like Warhammer, Guild Wars 2; or other games that are SFW regarding Nudity & NSFW content. Human models should cover up, yes, but are furry, anthropomorphic models held to the same standard of cover-up even if they do not have any NSFW parts about them?

12. Hate Raids and how to do better

    First off I wanna thank RekItRaven for Shedding so much light on this issue that has been occurring for years. I have just started streaming 8 months ago and this is my 4th time this year getting hate raided. I’ve been called almost everything in the book. Now I have several ideas on how to make this better but for starters. You Need to obey the Blocked/Banned Order. Anyone who is Blocked Or Banned should not be able to Hate watch us thus risking another hate raid whether that be in the form of bullying or racism. 2. Have Better & Faster Reaction time. There is no reason why we should have to start an entire movement to get your attention. I know you see the reports on these accounts/issues and they should not be ignored. You built a community where you wanted people to come together as a team, to be able to stream while they are in a comfortable and established environment. So far you have not practiced what you preached. You focus more on hot tub streamers getting what they want than Black/POC/LBGTQA+ creators feeling safe in the comfort of their own homes which is frightening to me. Please just do better that’s all

13. Re-evaluation of Banning process

    Idea: Changes or the very least, more transparency on what constitutes as a ban from twitch in regards to breaking streamer guidelines. I also think it'd be fair as well if someone was banned unfairly, how they can have their repeal submission process proceed in an efficient and transparent manner as well.

    Examples: Several esports players who have admitted to harassment, grooming, and assault on other community have their accounts still up and not banned (anti, cinnepie). Inversely, [removed specific streamer reference] who has new evidence from a lawsuit showing they were in fact a victim of **** has had their account banned.

    Resolution: Please reconsider how you go about banning people who've done terrible things by conducting a thorough investigation on suspect individuals (likely will have to be a case by case procedure not directed by algorithms), with transparency from twitch to the community members, and reevaluate how people who may have been unjustly banned, by being transparent in the repeal application.

    Furthermore, twitch needs to be more consistent on who gets a ban vs who doesn't. Inconsistent enforcement policies from Twitch allows so many streamers who have a history of breaking the Terms of Service on their platform to continue to be able to profit off the misfortune or abuse of others.

14. Handle Appeals

    I'm so sick of streamers getting permanently banned (indefinite suspension) after 1 thing and never getting anything back from twitch as far as an explanation or response to an appeal. I have seen people lose their passion and dream over the ridiculous moderation and support team. There is no reason people should be waiting 5 months for a response from twitch.

    Just recently my fiance was banned for something that he blatantly didn't do. He was banned for BAN EVASION when he never even had an account before the one that was banned. It's absolutely ridiculous.

    I continue to lose hope in Twitch as a platform every day. They take advantage of small streamers and it's disgusting.

    PLEASE, stop banning people for nothing and PLEASE actually care enough to look at your appeals and support emails.

15. We need more of a strict change in the Community Guidelines for "Sexually Suggestive Content".

    I'm a streamer on this platform, and have been for quite a few years. I would like to talk about some issues that I have with the new code of conduct of community guidelines if you would give me the chance, and that would be the dress code here on twitch.

    Twitch is a platform for all who wish to voice their opinions, play games, or provide any sort of entertainment, and I'm all for supporting that. However, there is an on-going problem that I am noticing every day, and it's getting worse. I am a female streamer on twitch. I work hard to get viewers, I advertise myself, and I always try to be as engaging as possible. However what really bothers me is this dress code, or rather, the lack of enforcing of this dress code.

    There are other female streamers on this platform, and that is a great thing to have for diversity of all streamers, but what is not okay is the fact that twitch is becoming more of an "adult" streaming site. What do I mean by this? Quite simply here. In the just chatting sections, everyday, I find other female streamers who are skyrocketing to partnership, and all of their streams revolve around sexually suggestive attire, and selling lewd snap chats for subscriptions on twitch. And it's working too well.

    This kind of content is not the reason why I stream on twitch, and quite frankly it should not be allowed. Females streamers who do this are actively abusing the system by selling their bodies essentially for views, subscriptions, followers, and more. You state in your code of conduct rules that there is no under boob showing allowed, yet I see many streamers doing this, and have reported videos of violators many of times, to see nothing done about it. You state there are no ****** cams, yet there are videos of female streamers spreading their legs and putting them behind their heads to give a full on view of that region, and yet nothing has been done about it, after being reported multiple times on multiple incidents, of multiple days.

    There are many new up-and-coming female streamers who are doing this, who are easily getting partnered through staying heavily grey, or borderline breaking the code of conduct rules, especially the new community guidelines that twitch has recently updated. Cleavage should be covered up. There shouldn't be windows to your chest. There shouldn't be cameras pointed at certain regions of your body that are used for ****** purposes. There has been female streamers who are actively taking their breasts out on stream for followers, and only take a 3 day suspension, but continue to grow and unlock affiliate and partnership.

    What I also don't get is how body painting streamers are allowed to stream topless, and it's considered "art" but they paint sexually suggestive attire on their bodies, and yet STILL people are getting banned for drawing 2D female anatomy pictures, and being suspended without drawing nipples on these 2D Characters.

    I hope you understand this, and the reason why I bring this up, is because AS a female streamer, It hurts us who do not do this. It makes us all look bad. In fact, a lot of the community now EXPECTS us to follow these examples. Every time I advertise my twitch now and state that I am female, the first question I always get is if I have an onlyfans, or do I sell my pictures on snap chat, or if I'm a "***** streamer", or the classic "feet pics/bath water".

    All these derogatory remarks and harassment via my chat all because of stuff like this. It's to the point where it's driving me away from wanting to stream on twitch. What's worse, is that these streamers that I am actively reporting, are showing up in my recommendation feeds. It's a constant reminder that lewd streaming is overcoming the platform and is expected of us females in order for us to grow, and that's not the mindset I wish to take part in on twitch.

    I would like this to be addressed. I hope you read this and can help supply this information, or at least have this topic discussed and revisited, as I feel it would do much better to this platform.

16. Appeals Abuse and Bugs

    False reports can lead to indefinite suspension.

    If you have associated accounts that receive false reports you can still get indefinitely suspended even after successful appeals.

    After you appeal a false report successfully and have the accounts unsuspended the violations are removed from the account dashboard they took place but are not removed from the associated accounts that were also suspended as a result of the false report.

    On these other accounts the appeals dashboard shows violations as follows;
    - The associated accounts are unsuspended.
    - The violation are still visible.
    - The violation gets the words "INACTIVE" and "Ended".
    - The expiration countdown timer is removed.
    - The duration of future suspensions continues to increase.

    The fact that the duration of the violations continues to lengthen is particularly alarming.

    If you appeal on an associated account the appeals are rejected. So even if you have had a successful appeal and the account is unsuspended the appeal is rejected on the associated account.

    For example I have a team account that has not been streamed on in years that was suspended due to a false reports on my account and even though the account was unsuspended and the false report was appealed successfully where it took place the appeal on the team account was denied. I have done this around 20 times so it is repeatable.

    Someone abusing the system can effectively get someone indefinitely suspended with little effort and as there is no mechanism to contact Twitch to discus issues there is nothing you can do about it.

    Even though the accounts are connected in a way that they can be suspended together twitch support will not discuss one account alongside another. They will also not discuss anything around appeals.

    If you run accounts for specific games, a team, or many other legitimate reasons you are at risk.

    If any of these accounts are suspended you can not use any accounts as that would be a TOS and suspension avoidance results in longer suspensions.

    sometimes bots or maybe some random report could get an account banned. seems like out of nowhere, but the community wants to help for appeal but what if they arent getting heard? what if they were just brushed under the rug and not looked upon? how serious are things being taken into account? What is one streamer to All of Twitch?

    The Community should be able to help the streamer push for an appeal, push to be seen, to be noticed. Answers need answering, we are all people too, Small streamers, big streamers, we should be equal for support. But what will be heard? the voice of on persn or the Crowd behind them supporting?

18. Clear and fair rules for bodyartists!

    Just wanted to talk about being a bodyartist and how it has affected me immensely on this platform. Hoping that twitch support can provide fair and non-misogynistic rules for all. As many of you may know many years ago (7+) Twitch has invited the first bodyartist Kaypike to the platform to express art/creativity in a new non-sexual way. But within the past couple years being a body artist and displaying this creativity as a woman has not only come with a lot of hate and poor moderation of the viewers harasssing the streamers but even the guidelines for bodyart has become very unfair. Bodyart is supposed to be a fun creative expression of ourselves and is very EDUCATIONAL! it definitely is not meant to be sexual and I do understand many streamers have ruined that opportunity as of current. But that means that instead of supressing the women doing bodyart without ill-intent, there should be more moderation of the content creators looking to abuse the art of it. Currently the guidelines say that you need the "sexual themes" tag if you are painting your chest and present as a female, which is definitely very sexist if you ask me. Us women cannot change our anatomy at birth and we need more fairness here. I had got a warning from twitch a few montha back becayse I did not want to be deemed as sexual so I thought it was okay to wear a shirt and still do some body art, nope! Apparently wearing a shirt they still saw it as sexual which is not okay? I am painting for the ART and not for sexual enjoyment of the brushes! Would love for more clarification. Not only does this affect us amazing female artists but it also impacts the revenue of Twitch because of the blurred thumbnails and lack of ad revenue. In the pas I can gladly say I have had multiple game sponsorships that loved my bodyart cosplays! The "Sexual Themes" classification of body art to me seems totally wrong and I would love to see what the TOS staff have to say about it. Because as of right now filming twerking/pole dancing or nude statues does not need the sexual tag, but body ART does? It has art in the name and is very educational as people love to watch the process and learn art/cosplay! I would love to feel more welcome on the platform doing what I enjoy! So my idea is to hopefully have more moderation for bodyart but less restriction and no sexual labels as that undermines us as amazing artists! If at the very least please don't consider wearing a top and painting upper chest as sexual. Would love for you guys to rid the rule about needing the sexual tag for presenting women as that seems very unfair/inappropriate. We wear pasties, bottoms and paint! Being a woman should not be a problem. Thank you! Another idea is lessening the blur on bodypaint tagged/titled streams so that viewers can somewhat see the content without full details, and removing the sexual tag. We need to empower the creative community more.

19. Allow to people to appeal more often for appeals.

    It is not fair that you can appeal only once every 6 months. If you are not a partner on Twitch they will not care and reject your appeal plan to reinstate your account on twitch. It would be better if you could appeal once a week to try to get your account back for Twitch.

20. report reason "Online Grooming" and an upload function for a screenshot

    I can report a Streamer. But I miss the report reason "Online Grooming". In addition, it should be possible to report not only streamers, but also users in the chat.
    Twitch is full of adults who cavort in streams of minors and there demand ****** things from the children.
    I know you have to be 13 to stream on Twitch. It is also correct that younger streamers are banned. But mostly only the young streamers are banned, and the groomers continue to mess around .

    Most groomers ask about private social media. Most often Snapchat, Tiktok, Instagram.
    Then it is not uncommon for the young streamers to receive instructions from the groomers via these accounts. You then hear a notification tone from the smartphone in the stream, the streamer looks for the message and a short time later the streamer makes some ****** poses or starts to undress.

    These streamers are reported and of course also deleted from Twitch. But not the groomers.

    I sometimes contacted streamers via Whisper. Many have confirmed and written to me that people request ****** things in private messages on Tiktok, Smartphone, or Discord servers. It seems there are Discord servers full of groomers and pedophiles.

    Also, an upload function would be nice, to send a screenshot of the chat.

    Often, there is a "bot" in the chats, called commanderroot. Here is the commanderroot website: https://twitch-tools.rootonline.de

    You can sort all the channels with this tool. Be careful. You will see weird things on Twitch. You can also check who is following whom and who is being followed by whom.
