Feature Suggestion for Video Editing on Twitch Hello Twitch Team,
As a regular content creator on Twitch, I would like to suggest adding new video editing tools that would significantly improve the post-production workflow. One particularly useful feature would be the ability to automatically or manually divide long VODs into 30-minute segments based on activity, chat interaction, or highlights.
This would allow creators to:
Easily cut and manage long streams.
Identify and extract interesting moments faster.
Add transitions between segments for smoother edits when uploading to platforms like YouTube.
Create mini-episodes from a single stream to boost viewer retention.
Right now, trimming and organizing content requires external…

An error ocurred loading the list of videos Video Producer is failing to load list of videos for multiple users.
This started happening after the 100 hours highlights limit was introduced and new filtering was added to the page.
Additionally, there is bug with the pagination of the list if it does load. It will say 1-20 of 70, etc as you progress through pages then when you get to the last page it incorrectly states that you are viewing 1-20 of 70 again but it's show the last set of videos you have. Then it becomes stuck and you can jump through pages and have to refresh.

Add a setting to disable certain resolution, like the new 1440. The new video resolution does not work well with lower spec PCs. I have a i5, GTX750ti with a 1080p monitor that freezes everytime I enter a channel with 1440 resolution.
I know, I can still set it back to 1080p, but the platform does not understand that 1080p is my prefered resolution. It understands only as "the second option on the list of resolution", so that when I get in another channel without de 1440 option, it goes to 720p (the 2nd option in that channel) ! It's been pretty annoying.I want an option in the settings to…

Suggestion to add a clip sorting function (24h, 7d, 30d, all) in the category Hi! It would be great to add the ability to sort clips by their creation time (24h, 7d, 30d, all) in the categories. After the design update, this feature disappeared, and its return will help to better browse clips and find out what happened in this category during a certain period.

Benefits of Bringing Back the Channel Name Tag and Adding Subtitles Feature Suggestion for Twitch: Channel Name Tag on Clips & Caption Support
It would be great if Twitch could bring back the feature where a channel's name is visibly tagged on clips during their creation or playback. This way, it's always clear who the original creator of the clip is, making it easier to promote the channel—especially when clips are shared on other platforms.
Additionally, adding an option to include captions (subtitles) in clips would be a fantastic enhancement. This would help improve accessibility and make clips more engaging, especially when viewed without sound.
Benefits of this idea:

Add a seek bar to live streams You should add a bar to let you go back in the stream if vod is published. You should be able to pause and play, and choose whether you want to be caught up to the live, or continue watching where you paused. You should be given a speed button, if you want to watch at 1; 1.25; 1.5; 2x speed you can to catch up to the live broadcast. You should also be able to seek into earlier into the stream from the live broadcast viewer rather then going to the vod. Just have either colors, or a label…

When you have to be subbed to clip For the channels that set it to only subscribers can clip, I think it should still let you open the clip page when you hit clip. Currently it is locked out/grey when you try to clip with someone having sub only clips enabled. I use the clip button a lot of the time to rewatch something i missed, misheard, want to see, ect.
The benefit to twitch/streamer, if you still let us open the clip edit page, you can add a subscribe button on that page, instead of just making the clip button locked. It would increase the chance of…

Is my video player buffering or the streamer is buffering? When I watch streamers I want to know if my video player is buffering or the streamer is. The bigger streamers chat will point out the streamer is buffering, but smaller streamers with a slower chat, I can't tell if my video player is buffering or the streamer is. I always think its my video player is buffering lol.

Have AI make clips Have a program that automatically finds 1-3 moments during your video to clip. It automatically clips it and you can set it to publish automatically or not. Just a thought on what QoL can be added now that AI is a thing. For me personally, I dont like listening to my voice, so Im not going to look through my vod, when I do i usually have it muted because im interested in my game play and I know a lot of people dont clip because they think its lame to clip yourself or they are lazy. it would give…

Theatre Mode Hotkey bugged I have been having this issue where Twitch Theatre Mode Hotkey isn't working as intended on certain streams. When checking Network tab in Developer tools, it shows 'gql' error.
Error's request url shows: {"error":"Bad Request","status":400,"message":"The \"Client-ID\" header is missing from the request."}
It fixes on certain streams after a hard refresh using Ctrl + Shift + R but on some streams even a hard refresh doesn't fix the issue.
I'd appreciate any kind of assistance to fix the issue.

Respect Pausing on Raid or Stream Start in background tabs Please respect my decision to pause (i.e. stop) a stream, even if a new one starts on the same site or the streamer decides to initiate a raid.
This also applies to tabs left open after a stream ends, as a new stream may automatically start playing in one of the countless tabs I have open in my browser. This usually happens on a channel where I’m a moderator, and I tend to keep the mod view open at all times. Then I find myself wondering where the music is coming from when a stream suddenly starts.
A sane default…

AutoClip A great feature on Twitch would be the ability to automatically generate captions for clips. If a viewer creates a clip from a specific moment in a stream, there could be an option to add auto-generated captions in Polish, along with the creator’s logo and name.
Benefits of AutoClip Captions:
- Increased Accessibility: Captions make clips more accessible for people with hearing impairments and those who prefer watching with text.
- Wider Reach: Polish subtitles help engage a larger audience, including non-native speakers or those watching without sound.
- Brand Recognition: Adding the creator’s logo and name helps promote their channel and makes…

[Feature] Featured Clips Featured Clips help you show up on new and existing Twitch discovery spaces in ways that best represent you and your community. We recently shared our plans (https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2023/07/08/everything-we-announced-at-twitchcon-paris/) to launch the upcoming mobile Discovery Feed. As we work towards building new onsite discovery tools like the Discovery Feed, we want to give you more control over which Clips are shown to viewers on Twitch with Featured Clips.
We're already working on improvements to Featured Clips, including:
- Allowing you to opt-in to automatically featuring Clips created by you or your editors.
- Giving Featured Clips access to Mods…32 votes -
Stream third-party recording protection. Videoplayers shows a blackscreen instead of video-track when someone trying to capture and record your live-broadcast (browser capture/screen capture). It would help streamers to be protected from people who want to harm their accounts and to frame a streamer somehow (may be enabled/disabled in settings).

Auto-Subtitles & Creator Branding for Clips It would be great if Twitch added an option for automatic subtitles when someone creates a clip. The creator could simply click one button, and subtitles would be generated automatically. Additionally, it would be useful to have an option to display the creator's logo on clips

DJ Program Video Uploads/Channel Trailer Right now, the ability to upload videos is disabled if you are in the DJ Program. However, if you want to have a channel trailer, you need to be able to upload a video. This effectively makes it so unless you leave the DJ program, upload a trailer, and then re-enter the DJ program, there is no way to have a channel trailer. Can you make it so DJs can upload trailers or upload videos please? ◡̈

Allow the PC's screen to timeout after twitch stream ends Please allow PC to go into screen off mode if there is no stream currently playing. As it is now, if a user's browser is open to a stream and the stream ends or crashes, the PC monitor will stay on indefinitely and never timeout. Please make it so that website stops sending a "video is playing, keep screen on" signal to the PC so that it can screen off and save the monitor from screen burn-in damage.

Ability to see when your created clip was deleted I think it would be beneficial to see when your clip you created even for other creators is deleted. I have had creators, remove my clip & put their own names in replacement to the exact clip I made. This is annoying as I go through my clips & to randomly see them used with someone else's name is causing me a little internal struggle. We put work into clips & not everything is used in out of context ways that would warrant a clip being removed. Even if creators [as a creator myself] have the ability to delete, I…
