1. [Feature] Featured Clips

   Featured Clips help you show up on new and existing Twitch discovery spaces in ways that best represent you and your community. We recently shared our plans (https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2023/07/08/everything-we-announced-at-twitchcon-paris/) to launch the upcoming mobile Discovery Feed. As we work towards building new onsite discovery tools like the Discovery Feed, we want to give you more control over which Clips are shown to viewers on Twitch with Featured Clips.

   We're already working on improvements to Featured Clips, including:
   - Allowing you to opt-in to automatically featuring Clips created by you or your editors.
   - Giving Featured Clips access to Mods and other trusted members of your community.
   - Adding the ability to feature Clips from the Clip creation flow, the Clip editor, and on mobile.
   - Adding more Featured Clips analytics.

   We'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions on how to improve this feature.

2. Have an option to disable featured clips

   Whenever I go into a streamer’s clip page I see no clips because I always have to disable it. Please don’t make it automatically sort by featured clips I just want to see cool clips I don’t wtf a featured clip is and none of my favorite streamers have any so it’s very annoying.

3. Un-feature Clips

   It is either unclear or not possible to remove a clip from the "Featured Clips" aside from deleting the clip. Allow users an easy way to un-feature clips.

4. The featured clips toggle is gone from the website on the clips page, making non-featured clips near impossible to see

   In order to see non-featured clips you now have to scroll through ALL of the featured clips in the channel/category, might not be too bad for some channels, but try to do that top of all time in a popular game category, it's gonna be a looot of scrolling

   The toggle is still there in the mobile app though, so looks like someone just forgot to add it to the website, hopefully should be an easy and quick fix...

5. Clips Manager and Featured Clips

   As a viewer, it was always great to see when a clip I had made got featured by the creator or one of their mods who had access to do that. With the newest update, you can now ONLY see what clips are featured if you have the ability to feature them as a moderator/editor/creator as far as I can see. It was very useful to see what types of clips different creators were looking for when one was featured vs another one not featured and that ability has now been removed, or relocated into a hard to find location. Clips that I know have been featured have no indication even when going to the clip itself from the clips manager. It would be great if we could see which clips of ours have been featured again, or even sort by featured first/alone.

6. Feature Clips from "Clips I've Created"

   I am enjoying the new Featured Clips stuff. I am wondering why we cannot feature clips from "Clips I've Created", we can only feature them from "Clips of my Channel". You would think these clips would overlap, but they do not. It is just odd that the "Clips I've Created" (usually while I am LIVE), are not also listed in the "Clips of my Channel". If I go to a VOD and make it again, it does show up there. I hope I am making sense.

7. Give clip creator ability to remove their name but not have it delete the clip

   Let me provide better feedback. Imagine you are being targeted by the owner of the clip because a falling out happened. They can now feature it and track someone's account. They will always be tied to it because the clip can only be deleted/edited by someone with the editing priv.

   PLEASE ALLOW THE ABILITY TO REMOVE YOUR NAME AS THE ONE THAT CLIPPED IT. ALLOW IT TO THEN DEFAULT TO THE CHANNEL OWNER, MODERATOR, AND/OR CLIP EDITOR.

   I no longer wish to be associated with a team of streamers because they have spread misinformation about me, committed libel/slander against me, and stalked my statuses on Discord, etc. Due to their actions, aggression, passive aggression, and off platform behaviors like victim shaming, I am traumatized.

   I tried to contact them directly but they are refusing to remove it. I do NOT consent to having my name associated with them in any way. I do not wish to affect their channel in any way. I just want to be distanced and made independent of them entirely.

   I have blocked and banned these people but they will forever be able to track me/my username because of 2 clips I made of their channel when we were still civil. Not to mention my name is mentioned prominently in another clip and I do not consent to that either.

   I am an affiliate and do not want to have to start over and regain affiliate status. I should not have to create a new account because someone bullied me out of it. That is unfair to my viewers, my community, and me the streamer!

   In the meantime, what do you propose I do? I have not received any kind of response or acknowledgement of my very real issue and safety concern that has done nothing but cause me emotional distress.

   Not mad just.... desperate at this point! I can't show it, but I am in tears writing this because I am powerless. PLEASE respond. Something. Anything. Help me. PS: No, the authorities cannot assist. No, I cannot afford a lawyer. I am going to be cyberbullied because I clipped a minute of content containing the cursed Pokemon Fusion of Jinx and Wailord. Internally screaming here!

8. Bring back the "Show only Featured Clips" toggle for channel pages

   • Please bring back the clip visibility toggle. Removing it has ruined content management for creators:
   • Harder to moderate: Streamers now have to manually filter through hundreds of random clips. Trolls can clip TOS violations, and they instantly appear on the channel page before moderators can react.
   • Profile spam: Our video tabs are now cluttered with low-quality viewer misclips and spam, hiding the best moments and hurting our portfolios for sponsors.

   If you want to take back control of your channel's content, please VOTE and comment below to get Twitch's attention!

10. Dance category request

    I've noticed that it's quite difficult to find other people who are doing dance streams on Twitch. Every once in a while, I come across another dancer, but they often share the same struggle—I frequently hear them express that they don't realize there are others out there streaming dance content, just like them.

    This lack of visibility is a common challenge and it makes it hard for us to connect and support one another. I truly believe that having a dedicated dance category on the platform could significantly improve discoverability for all of us. It would not only help viewers find dance streams more easily but also foster a sense of community among dancers. By making it easier for us to find one another, we could grow the online dance community and create more opportunities for collaboration and engagement.

    I would love to hear your thoughts on this idea! Do you think creating a dance category could make a difference?

11. Clip manager missing [channel that gave me permission to feature]

    "Who is allowed to feature Clips?
    Streamers and their editors can feature Clips by default. Streamers can choose to grant featuring access to Moderators by visiting their Clips settings. Moderators will be notified when they are given featuring permissions."

    Where?!
    I was given this permission by a streamer. Now, in the clip manager there is no selection for this streamers channel. The only two options are clips of my channel and clips I've created.

12. Do not check "Feature this clip" by default

    I am an Editor for some broadcasters and whenever I create a clip on their channel, by default the "Feature this clip" checkbox is checked. This is a very weird default to me (Featured clips should be more of a rarity than a common thing you want to do all the time) and I've featured multiple clips by mistake because I forgot to uncheck it. Please uncheck this box by default or allow us to do so through a setting in our account.

13. Mods can't Feature Clips

    Despite the option being toggled on, my mods do not have the option to feature clips on my channel. They did for a long time but the option recently disappeared. When I turn the option off and back on, it notifies them that they're able to feature clips, but the button still isn't there.

    Ce mode reprendrait les mêmes dimensions et proportions que le stream vertical du streamer. L’idée serait que Twitch récupère automatiquement les réglages du stream vertical configurés par le créateur, notamment lorsqu’il utilise OBS ou un autre outil compatible avec ce format.

    Ainsi, on obtiendrait un clip réellement conçu pour les écrans de smartphones, sans passer par un logiciel externe pour recadrer ou convertir la vidéo.

    Disponibilité avant et après la publication

    Le bouton « Vertical » pourrait être accessible dans plusieurs cas :

    • lors de la création d’un clip ;
    • lors de la modification d’un clip déjà créé ;
    • depuis le Tableau de bord des créateurs pour les clips publiés.

    Twitch pourrait également mettre en place un aperçu en temps réel, afin de permettre au créateur de vérifier le rendu avant d’enregistrer ses choix.

    Pourquoi cette évolution ?

    Le streaming vertical prend de l’ampleur sur Twitch mobile, et il serait cohérent que les clips suivent cette orientation. Concrètement, cette fonctionnalité offrirait plusieurs avantages :

    • des clips mieux adaptés aux smartphones ;
    • la fin des recadrages manuels avec des outils externes ;
    • une présentation cohérente avec le stream vertical du streamer ;
    • un partage facilité sur les plateformes qui privilégient le format vertical ;
    • davantage de liberté pour les créateurs lors de la préparation de leurs clips.

    En résumé, il s’agirait d’ajouter une option « Vertical » entre « Complet » et « Empilée », avec un rendu automatique basé sur les paramètres du stream vertical. Une amélioration simple à appréhender, qui permettrait aux clips Twitch d’évoluer en même temps que la plateforme.

16. More a fix then an idea..

    I'm not sure if this is a problem on my end or twitch. I use google chrome and I tried a different browser and got the same result..

    the problem I'm having is
    when i go to my "featured clips" I can see the first 8 but when i click on see all it takes me to my "popular clips" whereas before it would show all my featured clips and then in a different section it would show all my popular clips I'm not sure if this is a bug or if the featured clips was discontinued?
