An API to create a Twitch clips I would like to be able to create a clip by passing to a Twitch API the video_id, offset in seconds, duration in seconds, and name of the clip to create.
This should be secured so that only channel owners can, with an OAuth token, create clips on their channel

Sort VODs by date streamed / ect After making VODs it's difficult to find one from a specific date. We need a sort option for date streamed, date archived, ect.

picture-in-picture decreasing the quality I like to do multiple tasks on the PC, And along with watching Twitch, In picture-in-picture mode, Because it's more accessible to watch and do PC tasks on the same screen, But it happens to lose video quality, Not keeping the chosen one, having to change constantly due to the loss of quality, I would like to always keep the chosen quality and not have unwanted changes. Latency Ticker Pin "Latency To Broadcaster" that is at "Settings Cog" > Advanced > Video Stats.
This stat should be able to be seen by a viewer without keeping the entire Video Stats window up.

About Stream window The streaming keyboard commands would improve if updated to: "T" for teather mode (today is still ALT+T) as "F" only do fullscreen mode. And depending on the browser, if the teather mode is activated, fullscreen cant be activated (in chrome doesnt work, in the Firefox it does).

Complaint This is a complaint not idea I got done with a four and a half hour stream just for something completely out of twitch’s control to lose all my progress although hope hadn’t been lost yet because I had enough footage of it to make a video out of it so I looked and looked for the stream I had just ended and couldn’t find it. Fade-in audio on entry Streams are at various audio levels. Especially during raids, we have all had the experience of being jarred by jumping into a super loud channel after being in a quieter one.
In the dreamy streamy future, it would be wonderful to (optionally?) crossfade from stream to stream, but that would be super difficult.
But having the volume start at 0 and fade up gradually to the intended level would be great. (Both on the app and in the browser.)

Composite clips from the same time together Streamers currently will at times have many viewers clip similar timeframes of a stream, i.e. viewer 1 clips 15:34-15:44, viewer 2 clips 15:37-16:04, viewer 3 clips 15:27-15:35, etc. These clips could be composited into one clip of 15:27-16:04.

Fix the glitch Twitch never shows the actual amount of people in the stream, it always drops and rises when nobody has joined or left and it’s making it difficult to get affiliated because even though there’s more than enough people watching at once it only shows 1 or 2 people watching

How VOD's can come back If someone wants to watch a past VOD and it's been past 60 days or more, it's usually deleted. But, we can change that by letting streamers/creators have an option. When a VOD gets deleted there should be a trashcan/uploading feature on whether they want to delete this VOD or let it be uploaded again for another 60 days.
Or, if that's too much for the streamers to deal with; then there should be an option where chatters can easily vote JUST for themselves if they want to see this VOD again or not, they can also go back and…

clip manager Please add functionality to mark clips safe from global delete, and make it persist across sessions. Using the select all box and unchecking individual boxes puts clips in danger first, and if you accidentally leave the page all selections are reset.
I would love to be able to check my clips weekly, select the ones I want to mark safe, then use the delete all button for any I don't want to keep.

Please give the option to turn raids off as the viewer. I want to sleep I don't want my computer to stay on all night because people keep raiding each other. I want to save energy and I want my bedroom to go dark and silent. Advertisers are paying money for people who aren't even watching ads, pretty sure they don't want that either.

Create Clip Page Errors and Shows -30 On Seek Bar Sometimes, when I come back to edit a clip I have made during stream, the clip video will not properly load, and the seek bar will show -30 at the timestamp. You will not be able to seek to any other time in the video.
You also have to refresh the page over and over again in the hopes for it to eventually work. (Which increases view counts for some reason too FYI )

VOD mute option for streamer Allow streamer to mute VOD sections and re-publish to be sure the mute is in the correct places (the auto-muting is quite often off the mark).
Giving the option to mute the section in the vod while live would be awesome as well. For example, when playing a game that has copyrighted music in it we could easily start the muted section just for the VOD without muting in the live stream. Easier/more detailed clip search filters It would be such a help if some "quality of life" changes could be done to the clip manager in creator dashboard>content>clips.
Some changes that I would love would be a more detailed searching system for clips: including a search bar for a clip's title, and more filters such as category ALONG with channel instead of them being separate.There's also some bugs(?) which could be fixed, such as the "sort by views" not always working 100% correctly (clips in incorrect order), the "enter a category/channel" sometimes making the whole clips section of the page go blank after entering a…

left right channels audio balance By providing a L/R audio balance option, a single computer can play 2 streams at the same time by simply separating the speakers. Putting the slider in the player's advanced menu would keep it out of the way until its needed.
As stream viewing becomes more popular, its just a matter of time before 2 streams want to be watched by viewers but only 1 audio card is available.
Also, if it doesn't require extra processing, adding a mono option could help the auditory handicapped.
