Make Uploaded videos more visible Right now Twitch's interface makes uploaded videos almost invisible. In order to find uploaded videos, you either have to find them at the bottom of the search results or, when in a specific game, you need to go to a separate "uploaded" videos tab.
While I do not want to suggest specifically stealing from Youtube, I think an interface redesign needs to be considered to make uploaded videos more visible. I think that the focus should be on what's live, but that there should still be quite a bit of visibility added to the uploaded videos in both search results…

Allow video uploads without first premiering them Twitch removed the ability to upload prerecorded videos via the Video Manager without first premiering them. Please reintroduce this function. I would like to upload a highlight reel to Twitch instead of using YouTube for that function. Thank you.

YouTube Importing It would be nice for those people choosing to migrate exclusively to Twitch Uploads if they could import their videos from services like YouTube without having to reupload all of them or "start over" from scratch, especially for those with several hundred videos to bring over.

Ratings I think as with all video uploading sites, Twitch could benefit from likes, dislikes or maybe the old five star rating system. Something to help see what people like and don't like.

Searching a video within a channel For now, the video section of a channel only highlight the latest ones or show them all depending on some filters.
What about having a search engine? In my case, I'm syncing over 1700 videos from a Youtube channel et on the frontend or backend of the channel there's no way to search for a specific video to, for example, modify things, check stats, etc.
Thanks for your attention

A Proper Dashboard Right now, the only ways of notifying your followers of an upload are through e-mail and channel feed. Not everyone wants to spam their followers e-mails (potentially causing them to drift away) and not everybody uses channel feed. There should be a proper dashboard that displays all the videos that have been recently uploaded from the broadcasters you follow, and only uploads. Currently, if you go to a channels videos, you have to specifically filter for "uploads," otherwise they're lost in the sea of 100's of VOD's and highlights. In this dashboard, there should also be discovery mechanisms. IE: Popular…

Higher max. bitrate for everyone including NON-Partners. To put it simple: I'd like to stream my 1080p60 gameplay in better quality.
My guess is that everyone would like to do it.
For example: YouTube Gaming's recommended bitrate ranges from 4,500 to 9,000 kbps for 1080p60. Here we can use up to 3,100 without having fear that the stream will stutter a lot for the viewers.
Would be awesome if we could get it here as well. Along with Quality options.
As a NON-partner.
Give us a chance to grow our channels with quality from the beginning.

Include a Video Editor Sometimes we need to edit our videos before publishing it such as cut or add some scenes. But right now our only option is to upload after edited. An editor such as the one that YouTube uses will be great. We will be able to add background music, CC, subtitles, transition and things like that. And also community contribution of CC and subtitles too.

Watch Later Queue It'd be great to be able to add content to a queue that I can then watch later, in the order it was added, at my convenience.
54 votesGreat idea, we definitely want to work on making the viewing experience better. How often would you say you add things to watch later, and when do you usually return to watch things that you have saved?

Upload Multiple Videos sequential Would be gread if we could pull more than one file to the upload field and then all the videos will be sequential uploaded.
41 votesThanks for the feedback, we understand bulk upload needs and are looking into requirements. How many videos do you think you will upload at a time, and how often will you upload multiple videos?

Ability to upload CC/subtitle files The ability to have closed captioned and subtitled videos. Twitch wouldn't need to have a closed captioning system, just the option to upload a CC file (i.e SubRip, SubViewer, RealText, etc) and preferably to be able to maintain the more advanced files' caption positioning.

Audio Only Setting for Viewers This would be pretty much the mirror opposite to watching a muted stream. In the stream resolution settings there would be an option to turn video output off and only listen to the audio (in high quality).
This would be really useful for people with low internet speed (also to reduce the use of bandwidth when a lot of people are accessing the service) or who want to do other resource demanding tasks that could otherwise suffer from having a high resolution stream run in the background.

vodcast auto game change based on stream data or info entered for uploaded videos Let twitch auto change game name (and maybe title) based on what it was set on stream or info entered for uploaded videos. Vodcasts with 10th of games in one section creates mess

Channel-Specific Games Browser With Uploads, streamers can keep their VOD archive forever. It is finally possible to see a record of every game an individual streamer has played in their career by reviewing their Uploads page. It would be cool to add a "Games Browser" for each channel that mirrors the existing site-wide Games Browser. You would get a searchable view of all of the games represented in a channel's Uploads sorted by total # Views for each game. Streamers could use this to link to archives for specific games they've played on Twitch the way we can currently link to specific games…

Twitch Video Upload Desktop App YouTube's largest fail is that fact that they do not have a simple desktop app for the people who upload a ton of content. This app features should contain the ability to put in the information about each video. If you loose connection or site goes down there should be a "resume" button to continue the upload. Make it easier on the user & this and it will encourage everyone to upload more. aka a "Desktop Upload Manager app". Keep hitting those home runs Twitch! :)

Multiple Audio Channels It would be great to let streamers send multiple audio channels. For example splitting game audio, streamer voice, music, and notifications.
Often Twitch is open to the side while the viewer is doing something else, and being able to switch off or adjust the volume of certain audio channels so they interfere less would be very useful, and make it more likely for users to keep tabs open.

Description should be displayed on full length in the description-box atm the description in the description-box is cut in the half of the length of the box. The text should dynamically fill the description box in the length.

Hide/unlist videos/highlights/uploads on your channel. Making highlight clips for downloading from Past Broadcasts, but not publish clips on your video feed. Can download different clips and but them together as one to upload video section. (with video editing software/site video editor not needed)
