Please can you add a rewind option like on YouTube for live videos.

This is such a huge feature, the main channel player for watching live needs a huge overhaul, Especially with mid roll ads dominating the platform.
Viewers should have the control to rewind, or fast forward a stream (if an ad is happening, the stream could be paused for the viewer, so when they resume if the stream for the viewer is still paused, that way they can easily get caught up without missing any of the content and have the control to fast forward, watch at 2x speeds or whatever.
ads are very intrusive on twitch and for live broadcasting, you need to change the behaviour because existing ads format don't compliment the platform, giving people the ability to pause, and rewind, especially with forced ads will make it a better experience,

It is necessary to be possible to pause and continue from where you paused from and rewind in a live stream instead of that being only possible when watching the recording. It is really hard to watch a two hours live without having any need to pause it and it is really frustrating loosing a part of it. I know some other people who thinks the same. Thank you for your attention, I hope you consider it.

Can you PLEASE add a rewind feature in live videos like on YouYube and arrow keys to rewind/forward 5 seconds and also add thumbnail of the preview of the video along timeline so you can check for changes and rewatch something missed if the creator chooses to not record their live videos. They often broadcast live and I will miss a lot due to timezone differences. The creator has left YouTube for Twitch and viewers will find these tools useful.

I would love a skip 30 seconds forward/backwards button to the vod viewer. could be 15 seconds. It is often difficult to scrub back and forth when the vod length is very long.

Would be absolutely wonderful to be able to rewind during a livestream and not be forced to watch the live VOD to do so.

I think it would be pretty Pog if you could scrub back in the vod while watching the stream live, sort of like YouTube's current system.

I often cannot join a live stream when it starts, especially the long form ones that at times take a few hours to complete. I have to wait for the show to end before I watch the VOD. I would love the ability to start the stream over even while it’s live

often i have to clip and not publish to see a replay of something that just happened. Would be great to just click like 1 minute back on a bar like in a vod, but also have a skip to live button to go back to watching live, all on the main stream page, similar controls to TIVO

I was literally just watching a stream live when I accidentally hit my phone's home button. Now I can't go back. I've been waiting for this stream for a month, and because of one little mistake I'm now unable to enjoy the show because of course it had to be right during a twist moment. Fix your shit, twitch. This is why no one likes you anymore.
