I think as with all video uploading sites, Twitch could benefit from likes, dislikes or maybe the old five star rating system. Something to help see what people like and don't like.

It's a terrible idea. Aside from being an entirely superficial feature, it would also introduce an undesirable psychological dimension to the Twitch experience, in terms of approval seeking and comparison. There's no need to feed that global disease any further.

Mostly in tops only clips with large channels. The number of views is not an indicator of good content, because not only large channels create good content. I offer make a system "Like" for clips and add a "top rated" sorting option, so that users can vote for the clips they like.
I think just a like would be fine. No need for a dislike.

One of my favorite parts of the Channel feed feature is the emote reactions that people can add. Those would be amazing on Uploaded Videos. This idea also addresses people's concern about a blanket "Dislike" button.

I second Sean's opinion. Because on youtube you can just downvote without explaining why (in my personal opinion, if you don't like anything, just leave!).
These "anonymous" downvotes really discourage streamers (especially newbies)...if you get an explanation, you can react, If you read "You suck", you know, it's just an idiot, but this might also be helpful if you get constructive criticism.
I would mind this feature but there needs to be a place so when someone dislikes a video they are required to say why before the dislike goes forward. This will keep people from attacking others just because they don;t like them..
Also there could be a place for the like button too so people could say why the like this video as well.
