This would be very helpful when a viewer has had something important happen in his/her life and wants the streamer and community to know about it, whether good or bad. The streamer and others commenting to the viewer lets them know they are cared about and the whole community is drawn closer together.

This would be so good. I constantly mess up with chat messages and it would be so nice to be able to remove it and type it right. And yes, I've sent stupid chat messages.

Totally agree with this. If someone has been banned and then reinstated into a channel, it would do much to help the person by them being able to remove any whispers having to do with that.

I think it is more important that some time passes before the viewer, whether they follow the stream or not, is gifted a sub. And there are time that even some subscribers who are following a channel get gifted a sub and they are hardly in the streams. So it would only be fair they are not gifted a sub for the same reasons a non follower is not gifted a sub.

Just make things far easier and have one tier with several prices to choose from. That way the only upgrade will be when a subscriber chooses to upgrade to a higher price and/or subscribe for a longer time.

We apply IP bans in Chat based on users' Moderation actions in certain cases. We don't currently plan to publicize the logic we use because we think it would make it easier for bad actors to bypass the restriction.

I'm fine with time outs being used as a channel reward as a joke because the viewer is the one doing that as a joke to either the streamer or another viewer, each knowing it is a joke. But otherwise streamers who use banning, blocking or even time outs as a joke really should be banned from Twitch for two weeks to a month as banning, blocking or time outs are not a joking matter. It is painful to have that happen.

Great idea. And I'll add that Twitch really needs to require all channels to post rules for chat so what is/isn't allowed is clearly explained.
