Spellcheck for messages?

It happens sometimes that you write something what sounds pretty good in your mind, but if you read it in the chat after sending it, you recognize that it wasn't such a cool Idea to post it or you mention by yourself that your message is stupid and want to delete it.

Absolutely right.

@jamesanderson0345 originally I just wanted to delete messages in the whisper option , not archive .. I didn't want to endorse bans and a new way Twitch can make it happen but I did however want my voice to be heard. I noticed when Dan Clancy announced these rules on (Patch notes) 3 months ago there was an instant uproar unapproving, which means even if 90% of streamers decided to break the rules Twitch set it's hard to invest energy into because if majority doesn't care then how will you enforce something you cant control.. (Facts) I know streamers who doesn't believe in their own rules... ww And chat and all together as a group will say, " Don't blame this on chat". So my best advice now is just understand your words are precious, the things you say and do should be valued.. Not taken for granted..

I have seen users effectively delete their comments (and get a quick time out) with the !vanish cmd if it is enabled here https://pk365.com.pk/. However, individual comment deletion would be ideal.

@Magicka0 Everyone interested please send a message to Twitch support letting them know this [Uservoice] idea is important to you. I have recently spoke with them and they are aware but it takes everyone giving your fellow Twitch User support to allow them to know how much stronger we are as one. Email messaging will really help.

for whispers they could make that you have only max 10 minutes to delete it

@RochelleK1994 Also females are the most common sexual predators on social media. If you look at my Twitter account @Hach8Worldcom every like in connection to a post I have made in majority is a random girl with onlyfans account or something related to lewd content.

I delete them, all the time and they never seem to go away. It's non of my business and also you are a women who cares more about this kinda of topic so I'm also making another point . No male cares about a sexual predator because we do not strive off of the sexual degeneracy making business inside gaming industry.

I understand your concern but how about we embrace our Twitch [Uservoice] for a better change. I however believe we all should have a choice and that being said it's not an uncommon thing to delete a message, this is normal if you use any other SNS platform Discord, Twitter, ect..

How about we let the people decide if they want to delete their whisper message entries. I believe 645 more votes says "Yes"

@hachixiiiprolife I'm really sorry but I do not think being able "deleting whisper messages" is a good thing, especially when the platform is rife with abusers, predators etc. who could use Twitch whispers to harass their victims.

Being able to delete whispers would mean that their victims would have no proof of their abuse, which is critical if they do need to go public about their abuse (or even report it to the relevant authorities) as without proof, there obviously is a high chance that they won't be believed.

My request
Enable: Delete whisper message option for Twitch Streamer and User.

They need to add it, you shouldn't need to ask mod to delete your messages for example if you posted your personal info or cringe messages

not to mention that if vod gets highlighted then it might stay forever

right now if you'd dox yourself you'd need to delete your whole account..

Its ridiculous that twitch doesnt allow this STILL. They desperately need to fix this!

To elaborate on RochelleK1994's message, that is only exposed through a browser extension. The default Twitch front-end does not expose that, even for mods.
