There has been much talk on the r/Twitch reddit regarding the large amount of mass join bots. These bots, although they haven't broken a rule, are quite annoying to many people. Especially the ones that randomly follow/unfollow during a stream just trying to get attention.
I believe many people would really appreciate some sort of a feature like /hide NAME that will remove the username from the chatter list and possibly block them from following. If it is indeed a bot there is no harm done.106 votes

I've been in several streams now where I see people appear in the userlist that I know and say hello to them and have the streamer warn me about not calling out users. I would love it if there was an option to be invisible to everyone until you say something in chat! That way you can still read chat but not be disturbed until you choose to let your presence be known. :)11 votes
this option already exists in the moderators panel, it would be great for all users to be able to update the list simply by pressing a button instead of updating the entire page, losing the message history.5 votes
You know when you open chat, and it shows Broadcaster at top, then a moderator category, then VIPs, then regular viewers? Feel like a category should be added for subscribers and followers, and maybe one for twitch bots. So you the broadcaster can know who's actually watching or lurking.4 votes
Why are lurkers not counted by streamers? it's also viewers who should be counted, as it can help the streamer grow. Lurkers are also active, so they also belong in the counter.4 votes
