There has been much talk on the r/Twitch reddit regarding the large amount of mass join bots. These bots, although they haven't broken a rule, are quite annoying to many people. Especially the ones that randomly follow/unfollow during a stream just trying to get attention.
I believe many people would really appreciate some sort of a feature like /hide NAME that will remove the username from the chatter list and possibly block them from following. If it is indeed a bot there is no harm done.107 votes

I've been in several streams now where I see people appear in the userlist that I know and say hello to them and have the streamer warn me about not calling out users. I would love it if there was an option to be invisible to everyone until you say something in chat! That way you can still read chat but not be disturbed until you choose to let your presence be known. :)11 votes
You know when you open chat, and it shows Broadcaster at top, then a moderator category, then VIPs, then regular viewers? Feel like a category should be added for subscribers and followers, and maybe one for twitch bots. So you the broadcaster can know who's actually watching or lurking.6 votes
this option already exists in the moderators panel, it would be great for all users to be able to update the list simply by pressing a button instead of updating the entire page, losing the message history.5 votes
Why are lurkers not counted by streamers? it's also viewers who should be counted, as it can help the streamer grow. Lurkers are also active, so they also belong in the counter.4 votes
We talked around and came to the point that we checked who wrote the most messages. We figured out that twitch only shows 999+ messages at the viewer dashboard you have in the mod-view. Would be awesome if this would get extanded2 votes
As of right now the "USERS IN CHAT" menu displays all usernames in title-case.
However the "STREAM CHAT" as well as the profile pop-up and profile pages all honor the capitalization set by the user. Referring to usernames that are all lowercase or have specific characters capitalized.
To add consistency in styling and improve readability, I would like to suggest styling the usernames the same way globally (on the entire platform).1 vote
[ESP] Crearía otro Roles para darle a tus seguidores. Por ejemplo: 2 tipos de VIP. (VIP Legendarios/Dorado y VIP Común). O Roles personalizados con un icono custom.
[ENG] I would create another Roles to give to your followers. For example: 2 types of VIP. (Legendary VIP / Gold and Common VIP). Or Custom roles with a custom icon.1 vote
There should be an option to set up a bot without making a new account.
How it would work?
You would have a bot tab, which allows you to get a link to connect other services to it like streamelements, streamlabs, etc
What are the benefits:
1) people don't have to get their bots a subscription
2) it's extremely easy to customise
3) no one has a reason to create bot accounts unless it's meant with malice. Which would help a ton with things like tracking follow bots and hate raid bots.1 vote
