  1. Sometimes the face cam could block important information in the HUD, such as the amount of kills that a Call of Duty: Warzone streamer has when they are going for a kill record, or competing in a kill race tournament. I think it would be extremely useful if you could just slide the face cam to a different corner of the screen to quickly see any blocked information.

  2. I would really love to be able to decide how loud the streamers voice and the streamers game is for me.
Normally Streamers have to decide how loud everything together is.
Iam not sure if this is possible, but i guess you can have different channels on one audio stream, why not make one for the game and one for voice.
Then it could be possible for the viewer to decide how loud he wants to hear these channels.
    Thank you :)

  4. A lot of people are on limited data plans or don't have access to WiFi, but would still like to watch their favorite streams. Having an option to download VODs to view later would help users use a lot less data. An option to download the chat for those particular VODs would be great too.

  6. I have a Galaxy S8 and it has an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. With apps such as YouTube and Netflix, I have the option to make the video a fullscreen video instead of the standard 16:9 aspect ratio. Unfortunately, Twitch does not allow this. This would not be a problem except for the fact that many devices have OLED screens. Because the 16:9 aspect ratio does not use the full screen, pixels on either side are left turned off. Over time, this leads to reverse burn in and color issues with the screen as the pixels in use will degrade faster…

  7. Watching streams that are not live can be a bit of a pain at times. It’d be nice to feature options such as “jump to” icons like 15 second forward or 15 second backwards. There is also currently a bug whee after pausing a replay stream, the audio cuts out.

  8. I've been thinking about this for a bit, and would love to spitball the idea with someone.

Could it be an idea to enable streamers to make a custom thumbnail for their streams, then have it preview when you hover over said stream.

That way, it would allow people to showcase special things about their streams that make it more interesting.

For instance, I see a lot of competitive players of a bunch of different games using a title like "800+ wins" or "3000 ELO" - So with the custom thumbnails, they could showcase that, and if the viewers were…

  9. Self-explanatory. You are watching a stream and want to watch a funny moment or awesome play (or fail), and you can't clip it, or don't want to go to the trouble of going to the recording of the live stream while live.

  12. I would like to request the ability to pause a video using the space bar, without having to click the video to make the window active. I multitask while watching a VOD. For example, I may be scrolling through the chat window, looking at the streamer's list of videos, or switching to other tabs while listening to the video. On YouTube, I am able to pause the video simply by hitting the space bar, no matter where my focus is on the page. However, on Twitch, I am only able to pause the video if I first actively click the…

  13. If streamer has the option to publish VODs, we need to be able to play VODs which are currently in progress without stopping at the end of the progress bar.

This will help viewers and moderators watch a cleaner near real-time stream of the VOD, using the streamer selected VOD Track layers in OBS.

This can be adjusted by the streamer so the VOD contains only the game audio and not the streamer yelling their lungs out, Text-To-Speech, music, or alerts..

  16. When a streamer (low latency mode enabled) has momentary internet problems, it increases the delay significantly for the rest of the stream. One solutions is to restart the stream, but then you will have separate vods and spam extra notifications for users.
So, ideally we would have a option on streamers dashboard to reconnect to da serves and fix the delay. I imagine it will stall the stream for couple of seconds and not something you would want to use unless you have to, but still would be much better then restarting.

  17. It's always fun to re-watch your favorite streamer's reaction to a comment of yours. However, when viewing recent broadcasts, there is no convenient way to JUMP between YOUR comments in the seekbar. The user needs to skim through the seekbar and manually find their comments by trial and error.

  18. Hello Twitch & Twitch Developers,

I had the idea and I think this an inevitably awesome feature idea to have multiple camera angles set up as separate streams within the same stream. For my example I want to broadcast me playing piano from sheet music with education and follow along tracking in mind. If I have three cameras wouldn’t it be great to have a camera on the sheet music, one on the top down piano, and one showing me from a side or front angle. That way the user could join the stream seeing me playing as the main…

  20. Would be nice if we do collaborations with fellow streamers to be able to have a function for streamer/affiliates/partners to have a multi-stream function so everyone’s communities could all come together and hangout in each other’s chat at once while watching/listening to the streamer + content, by creating a bigger bond between people alike and to make community’s stronger, to spread the hype, positivity and kindness to all
