Clips for DJ content with VOD audio instead of live audio to allow saving Thanks for making clips generally possible again for participants in the DJ program since Sep 1st, 2026.
Since DJs mostly play music on their channel, it turns out that clips containing copyrighted audio cannot be saved for understandable reasons.
SUGGESTION: If the stream to be clipped sends an additional VOD audio track that contains no copyrighted audio, could this then please be used for the clip instead of the live track and allow saving and publishing?

Don't burn-in subtitles and let us edit the subtitles The new feature to add subtitles / captions is a good feature, but unfortunately it burns it into the video. There's also no option to edit the subtitles, so it will burn in incorrect subtitles. There's also no option to change the position either, so it might cover up important parts. So I have do disable this feature for now.
Let it be an optional feature for users who want it. Let us edit the subtitles at any time, even after the clip is made. Both the timing, spelling and how words are grouped.

Provide more time to relocate our Highlight / Uploads The highlights / uploads are being severely limited, likely due to Twitch wanting to save money on bandwidth / storage.

However, 2 months will simply not be enough time for many creators to move their entire backlog of content off-platform, or find solutions. We're talking years, even a decade for some creators, who have memories and moments that cannot be lost.If there is no going back on this decision, then I request at least a little more time to ensure no content is lost.

Bring back the "Show only Featured Clips" toggle for channel pages • Please bring back the clip visibility toggle. Removing it has ruined content management for creators:
• Harder to moderate: Streamers now have to manually filter through hundreds of random clips. Trolls can clip TOS violations, and they instantly appear on the channel page before moderators can react.
• Profile spam: Our video tabs are now cluttered with low-quality viewer misclips and spam, hiding the best moments and hurting our portfolios for sponsors.If you want to take back control of your channel's content, please VOTE and comment below to get Twitch's attention!

Clips Use To End Much Earlier Than Actually Cut In Clip-Creator Keep how clips are cut. Especially since the creation of clips received an overhaul the actual clip doesn't keep the exact starting and ending points as they were set in clip creator. It's very frustrating when you put effort in cutting the clip properly just to see the result missing up to one entire second in the end.

Changed Games should still show in Search When a game is changed mid-broadcast, it shows up as chapters in the final VOD, but these chapters do not show up in a global search for that game. Only the video's initially chosen game shows up.
This would be huge for indie devs who make short party games that are often played within a larger variety game night.
(Our game is frequently streamed as a break between Jackbox games, and so we rarely show up in video search results even if I can manually find and see us listed in a VOD's chapter later)4 votes -
Keep the original clipper credited when an editor edits an old clip When a channel editor edits a clip made more than 1 month ago by another viewer, for example to fix the title or mobile layout, the "Clipped by" credit on the clip changes from the viewer to the editor, while keeping the URL and the viewcount.
This means editors can't tidy up old or badly-titled clips without silently taking credit from the community members who made them. [Bug Report] Clip creation settings (layout and stacked configurations) are no longer carrying over Description
Please note that I am posting this issue after having already contacted Twitch Support regarding this matter.
When creating clips on channels other than my own for the same streamer and category, the following settings fail to carry over and instead revert to their default states:
- Portrait Version layout settings
Position and size settings of each screen when configured to Stacked
This issue has been occurring consistently since around June 2026.
Initially, I waited to see if it was a temporary glitch or isolated to a specific environment, but it remains unresolved to this day.

Display who edited a clip I often spend time carefully editing the clips I create. However, sometimes channel editors modify them, shifting the timeline mid-sentence, changing the title, or enabling automatic subtitles. At that point, the clip no longer represents the version I created, and I don't like this silent editing behavior.
This could also create opportunities for trolling or abuse. For example, an editor could intentionally alter a clip created by a specific viewer in a way that changes its context or negatively affects how it is presented.

Split background music from VOD audio instead of disabling clips Twitch seriously needs to fix its new clip restrictions by precisely targeting and muting copyrighted music inside VODs. Right now, the current system is incredibly frustrating: if you try to make a clip from a VOD that has a song playing in it, Twitch completely blocks you from clipping anything at all. Instead of preventing clips entirely and ruining the experience, Twitch needs to implement an accurate audio filter that isolates and mutes only the specific background song. Mods can't Feature Clips Despite the option being toggled on, my mods do not have the option to feature clips on my channel. They did for a long time but the option recently disappeared. When I turn the option off and back on, it notifies them that they're able to feature clips, but the button still isn't there.

Clip page scrolls down automatically after opening When a clip is viewed on desktop (in both Chrome and Firefox), the page randomly scrolls down after loading or loads already scrolled down, hiding the top half of the video player. This seems to be a widespread, consistent bug as is shown in the clips from several different streamers below:

Revert this change and allow us to create a clip as long as we trim out the section that has Copyrighted Audio. Okay so, up until recently if we click the clip button and part of the 2 minutes of clippable footage contained some copyrighted audio, as long we trimmed out the part that has the copyrighted audio the clip could be created successfully. If we didn't trim it out, we would get a red bar that says the clip could not be created.
Now you have added an error message pop-up informing us of copyrighted audio and allowed us to attempt to continue editing the clip (which is a very good change) but now we're not able to proceed from there…

Change "1440p## 2K" to "1440p## QHD" "2K" as a descriptor of 1440p is a misleading marketing gimmick, stop using it.

For several months, you have been limiting the maximum stream quality to 720p and the bitrate to 3000 for viewers from Russia, explaining this by saying that you receive insufficient revenue from us.
I watch Overwatch, which is a very fast-paced game, and a bitrate of 3000 turns it into a blurry mess. Because of this, many of us use various workarounds to restore normal quality. Ajouter un format « Vertical » dans la présentation des clips Twitch Avec l’arrivée du streaming vertical sur l’application Twitch mobile, il paraît logique d’étendre cette évolution à la création et à la modification des clips. Ces derniers pourraient en effet bénéficier du même format pour mieux correspondre aux usages actuels.
Aujourd’hui, dans la section « Modifier la présentation » d’un clip, deux options sont proposées : « Complet » et « Empilée ». Je suggère d’ajouter une troisième option, appelée « Vertical », qui viendrait se placer entre les deux.

Loading Bug When Browsing Clips Loading Bug When Browsing Clips
This is a bug that occurs on mobile where when browsing clips from a channel, category, and ones saved in my "reacted" tab, after a certain amount of clips have been loaded in, no more will be seen at all.
It's an issue because there is no way of accessing the unloaded clips besides directly accessing the link and/or hoping the clip is recent enough to appear within the "24 hours to 30 days" tabs.
I hope this issue actually gets fixed and not simply ignored like the many other problems other users have pointed…

Mandatory 24-Hour VOD Window to Stop TOS Dodging Bad actors are routinely violating Twitch's TOS during live streams and instantly deleting the VODs to dodge accountability and leave no paper trail. To fix this, Twitch should require all streamers to keep their VODs published (or in subscriber-only mode) for at least 24 hours before they can be deleted. To protect creators from legitimate mistakes, everyone should be given a limited number of "emergency deletes" per week to use at their discretion.

Allow clipping on VODs with music if the audio isn't muted Can we please update the clip generator so we don't get blocked with a "can't create clip" message on a VOD that has background music? If Twitch's automated system doesn't mute the audio track in the actual VOD, there's no reason we shouldn't be allowed to make a clip with that exact audio.
