Dance category request I've noticed that it's quite difficult to find other people who are doing dance streams on Twitch. Every once in a while, I come across another dancer, but they often share the same struggle—I frequently hear them express that they don't realize there are others out there streaming dance content, just like them.

Localized Display Names break Clip Author links (404 Error) Hello,
I found a technical bug regarding localized Display Names (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) in the “Clip Creator” section.
The issue: When a user with a localized Chinese display name creates a clip, the “Author” link on the clip page points to a non-existent URL using Chinese characters (e.g., twitch.tv/我喜欢...) instead of their actual alphanumeric username. This leads to a 404 error page.2 votes -

Allow DJs to have muted clips So one of the greatest thing about having a Twitch channel is the community engagement with silly clips of moments being created.
As a DJ on the platform, I've lost a lot of possible interactivity with my community since VODs and Clips have been disabled.
From a licencing point of view I can understand that these were disabled due to the audio included in there.
However, it would be awesome to have some amount of this interactivity back if clips could be enabled on DJ channels, but having them always automatically muted.

Clip Editing - Add More Before/After Video to Timeline When editing a Clip, currently the timeline is limited to the original Clip duration. Fine for trimming off dead space at the start/end, but often a viewer will 'miss' the start or end of an event, or only uses the default 30 seconds instead of the possible 60 second clip length.

Change the layout back. Both streamers and chatters have said they don't like it. Changing the layout so the Title and tags are all above the stream was a bad decision. It is in the way for people who get dizzy watching first person games, and can't watch in full screen. You have basically made it so that, yes it might be the first thing we see, but that's not good. It distracts from the actual stream or VOD. Twitch doesn't need to be TikTok on mobile, and it doesn't need to be YouTube on the website. Please. PLEASE!! Change it back. Portrait mode broken The clip feature, especially Portrait mode is broken for many older clips.
I cannot edit/see the preview in the dimentions I want for older clips. It was working fine last week but now, for some reason, it seems like majority of clips that were not created after my May 2nd 2025 clips are broken can cannot adjust the portrait version of the clips regardless if they had already a portrait version editted or not.
Tried on Chrome and Firefox and the same result. Latest clips/Clips after 2nd May 2025 onwards seem to work as normal. Can still save the clip…

video offline screens it would be nice to be able to add videos as offline screens, i have a nice animation for my channel but i'm currently unable to use it because it can only be jpg, png or gif, it's a small change but it would give a better look to the channel in general, and it would even give an opportunity to add an introduction to the channel

Vector text for league UI like dota Work with riot to make the text on screen vector based for league of legends, like you did for dota 2. In particular, pro play ui. It makes vieweship substantially easier, especially at lower qualities. If u end up doing it, please dont skimp out on mobile like dont just implment it for pc. The whole point is to be able to watch lol games on low quality on data.

Failed to determine content classification" error and some others can clip no worries, and its working with when clipping on desktop but the mobile users get this error when sending the LINK in the chat.

Inaccurate Clips length For the past month or so, Clips no longer save accurately from when they are clipped, resulting in them having parts earlier than wanted, and cutting off up to almost a whole second off of the end of the clip. Trying to use the Edit feature to trim it proplery after clipping just doesn't work accurately either. It used to be accurate, so why did it change?

Remove hardware acceleration requirement from 2k streams If i turn on hardware acceleration on my browser the video flickers between black screen and normal video constantly, this happens on any browser and also still happens after a reboot and all my drivers are up to date. Remove this from being needed so people can watch 2k streams normally no other website needs this and it is currently the only thing stopping me watching 2k streams

Remove the VOD Limit As someone who has had 4.5 years of VODs archived on Twitch, it is very very frustrating that they will start deleting any that pass the 100 hour limit. I understand that storage is expensive, but delete inactive accounts or something else to reduce it! Please do not make this change, as many speedruns and memories will be lost. I understand even having a more reasonable limit but you can't do ANYTHING with 100 hours. At the very minimum give us a bulk export option! multiple audio channels Streams should be able to encode audio into separate audio channels, so that users can independently mix/select audio for each channel. For example, one channel could be music, another could be the streamer's voice, and another for the game/application's audio. In this example, if you were already playing music that you wanted to listen to, you could disable the streamer's music. Or, if you have trouble hearing the streamer's voice, you could turn that up. Banner below stream. The scrolling to that stupid whatever banner under the stream when viewing a new stream makes discovering a stream to watch very annoying. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs to be fired.
