Allow DJs to have muted clips
So one of the greatest thing about having a Twitch channel is the community engagement with silly clips of moments being created.
As a DJ on the platform, I've lost a lot of possible interactivity with my community since VODs and Clips have been disabled.
From a licencing point of view I can understand that these were disabled due to the audio included in there.
However, it would be awesome to have some amount of this interactivity back if clips could be enabled on DJ channels, but having them always automatically muted.
Granted, a lot of the clippable moments would be during vocal moments speaking on-mic, but I know many fellow DJs who have utilized clips to actually end up creating emotes of themselves as they're dancing whilst mixing or just generally vibing (and ultimately making fools of ourselves in a very fun way).
Thank you,
Ghillie.

The pages look like they have died. Please just add the thumbnail to the user page as normal, just add a hover over image with a crossed out speaker 🔇 so it retains history of our streams with a thumbnail, views and date, but no copyright audio.

Clips are a part of what makes Twitch special. We need content to be able to promote our Twitch channel such as Clips, VODS, and Channel Trailer.

I totally agree with this. Please bring Clips back for DJs as someone, who hasn't done DJ stream before the program it always shows year old gaming clips, when I get a shoutout in another DJs channel. This would be very helpful for more discovery and growth

There's some comments asking why no VODs/clips WITH audio. The issue is that the audio license is ONLY for LIVE broadcasts. Allowing any sort of clip or video with audio would require a license that includes On-Demand delivery of that audio. Those licenses are more expensive. This is baked into copyright and music law.
Muted clips would be awesome.
I am also going to add a command to my channel to create local clips, so that chat can still "clip" favourite things that happen on my DJ streams. Then I can remove the copyrighted audio locally and upload to YouTube or my main channel. Thats a workaround though, it would be much better if the first-party tools allowed a consistent viewer experience to participate in the fun in their normal way - clicking the CLIP button!

DJ program needs a lot of improvement. Excluding clips or any recorded Video with the same Music as the program imposes, I think is inconsistent... What is the reason and why recorded videos and clips can not be created, if they have the same music that the program imposes? It was not specified!

Twitch hasn't done a particularly good job in helping the DJ community to grow, so giving something as small as this back to them would be a start.

I especially agree with bexfromchicago. Today, when I’m shouted out, the clips show my old setup.

Many DJs have on screen clip displays that are triggered when shouting out other streamers. This was great for growth. But now anyone in the DJ program will have old clips shown (ex. when I get shouted out everyone sees clips with an old setup, lower quality video feed, etc) which doesn’t help at all. Anyone that recently joined the DJ program will get absolutely nothing shown. Muted clips would be a fine solution. Please - if you’re serious about growing the twitch DJ community - please consider this.

30 second clip even with music shouldn't be problem at all. This is so petty that we are not allowed anymore.

yes if you can add this it be nice, if you all can take away so much money from us as it is and many other things then be fair and give us some lead way please. We work hard for what we do and still not happy with the program with what we can play and not play, in in real life i can pay 600 a year for a license and play any song i want but to be restricted and limited for your rules. i wont say more .... at least let us have some clips .... or som kinda notice here and listen please

If we're already gonna have so much taken from us, from the DJ Program, it'd be nice to at least be able to capture a 30 second clip!
