Pause Mass Removal of VODs and create a mass export to Youtube feature. Twitch just announced that they're deleting vods for over any accounts that have more than 100 hours worth of highlights on their account. In the past, we were assured that Highlighting our vods was the way to save the previous broadcasts on our channels after the incredibly disruptive act of past broadcast deletion. However, with a mass delete of videos coming, streamers who may have hundreds of highlights are now facing the fact that they're going to have to upload all of their vods elsewhere to keep them intact.

VoD Comment/Chat Function An option to add comments based on your current point in the VoD, or to interact with current chat and link to current view point, would make VoDs a much more interactive and community based function. I can't count the numbers of times I've wanted to comment something on a VoD.

Long form content As a long-term patron of both YouTube and Twitch, (and Twitch affiliate) I have always found that Twitch and partners have had significantly better policies and moderation. As a livestreaming platform, Twitch has always reigned supreme in my mind. However, one chapter (and siginificant investment) of Twitch’s journey that I think could be interesting would be support for long-form videos to be uploaded to the platform similar to YouTube or Video. Add "Highest Available" option for video quality I always keep the quality option set to "source" so it's always using the highest setting. Auto is constantly freezing the stream and lowering/upping it even though I have extremely consistent fiber internet speeds so I absolutely despise this option.
There are some streamers I watch that have 1440p as their source quality and I can't select it because I turn hardware acceleration off on my browser. This makes it choose the option below it. It then defaults me to 720p for other streamers instead of their source option which is typically 1080p.
Highest Available would completely alleviate this issue.

Make clip creator video resolution adjustable Currently the clip creator will only play the video in the highest resolution (Usually 1080p), this makes it harder to create clips mid-stream because it often takes time to buffer; allowing changing resolution like in the normal video player will remedy this.

Alpha auto clips not working I was invited to Alpha Auto Clip testing and the feature is not working. It does not generate any clips. I have it enabled. I'm excited about the feature, but can't even test it.

cant watch youtube movies on twitch Hello,
I got movies on Youtube that I paid for. Yet, when I stream on Twitch a movie from Youtube. All I get is a sound and a black screen. I have looked and tried few things to sort it out.

Allow users to pin their favourite channels (multi select) Please allow users to pin specific streamers to the top of their list. There are some streamers which I enjoy who are on the low end of viewer count compared to others I watch. I will not always realize they are online because I follow so many channels. Allowing me to pin specific people lets me keep my favourite streamers on top, no matter how popular they are, lifting up some of the lowest members, this also helps boost the visibility of less popular streamers, allowing you to keep more of your performers organically without needing to 'boost' them. Split Streams While Live If I stream multiple games in one session, I want to be able to split the stream on command, separating the sections into separate VODs while still live. This is not the same as VOD chapters, and would greatly improve the searchability of VODs by game on Twitch, and the ability to export/download specific playthroughs for later visibility.
I appreciate that this could be achieved by ending the stream briefly, but nobody wants to do that and risk losing viewers. This can also be achieved in post-production, but that would require lengthy downloads, re-renders, and uploads, especially if you prefer…

In/out markers for export to YouTube When you export a VOD to YouTube, it exports the entire VOD. It would be nice if we could specify an in and out point for the export so that we can skip, say, 3 minutes of "starting soon" and 5 minutes at the end looking for a raid target (or whatever). It would be especially nice if a VOD could have multiple in and out markers so that it could be split into multiple YouTube videos.

Add Navigation Arrows in Fullscreen Mode I’d like to suggest adding forward/backward navigation arrows to the fullscreen video player. Let viewers sort clips in the order they originally occurred in live streams. I often make multiple clips from a single live stream. It would be useful if these clips could be sorted chronologically by the order they occurred within that live stream.
It would also help if clips made from multiple live streams could be sorted by the dates of the original broadcasts for each stream.

Hide only the region locked chapter of a VOD instead of the whole thing I often find myself unable to watch a VOD because only a portion of it contains a chapter with a category locked by local law (gambling in this case), making me unable to watch the remaining portion of it even if allowed. Do something like the audio censor with DMCA music, in this case you also put a black screen on it

Navigation bar doesn't go away when watching streams The navigation bar is always visible, hiding the top content in both full screen and theater mode. Horrible experience, especially in games like DOTA since it hides the important information like the score.

Remove the top bar in Full screen mode When watching a stream in full screen mode, there is a bar at the top of the screen that covers the top of the stream.
This results in a much worse use experience. If you do not want to remove it, at lease add an option to hide it.
