  1. While I believe that creators should have some freedom to do what they want, I also believe viewers should have the freedom to exclude certain content from their searches on Twitch. As is right now, I cannot find a way to filter out streams marked with "Sexual Themes" through the search bar on Twitch. Simply searching the word "art" brings up any stream with the "art" tag, which could be a stream with the "Sexual Themes" CCL.

In fact I just did this, the top 5 results included two streams of IRL streamers in barely any clothes, dancing in a…

  2. With the new Sexual Content and Content Classification rules allowing a greater amount of erotic dances and photography, will there be a way to verify user ages and their consent? I suspect this will need to be revised and implemented, else you could have people coerced into doing erotic dances for subs.

  3. For the pass couple of months Traditional Chinese community has been suffering from unreasonable suspension by typing in chat which hasn't violate the "hateful conduct and harassment" from twitch community guidelines. Suspension reasons contains hateful speech, sexual harassment, etc.

For example, cursing in Chinese might have get you banned for 7 days plus, but the same meaning in English or other language will not get punished. Certain user even recieve suspension from chatting topics which is "related to streaming content" that has hardly even reach the boundries of communities guidelines.

It's literally taking weeks or months to get any feedback…

  4. I am tired of coming onto twitch an seeing so many female streamers posing half naked an making thousands from it. This is not a **** website. There are children who watch this daily giving away there money because they think they have some kind of connection with these woman when they just lie an manipulate there viewers for donations. For example writing there name across there breasts for a tier 3 subscription. Its a despicable act that you allow this on your platform. Also the way you treat your male creators vs. female creators is awful, have some pride…

  5. The Oldschool Runescape section on twitch has rampant issues with phishing streams. The scammer downloads a vod of a popular streamer, creates a new account, and streams with titles such as "My Final OSRS stream", and instructs viewers to visit the runescape forum link below the stream to read about it. The link is a phishing page, obviously.

They do some other scams sometimes as well, e.g. "Click the link below to activate your double xp buff", while restreaming a dev Q&A vod.

I'm sure it's a problem in some other communities as well.

The streams are extremely easy to…

  6. Please provide a way to report users without having to view their stream, perhaps through a three-dot menu when browsing or in search results.

The only way I'm aware of to report someone requires viewing their stream first (or their profile which automatically starts playing their stream). Sometimes it is obvious just from the thumbnail that the user is violating TOS (crypto scams, nudity, gore). I also don't want to appear in the user list for a stream with inappropriate content, since I can view it in an incognito window but need to be logged in to report it.

  7. There is a big problem with Twitch's current "Restrict/Monitor" function.

As of right now, if you start monitoring or restricting a user (for example, a ban evader), for moderators and the broadcaster, EVERY message that user sends is highlighted, making it stand out from every other message. While I understand that this highlight function has it's uses, it is inherently harmful if users are consistently making new accounts to ban evade. This system is doing the opposite of what we need if their messages are standing out to our moderators and broadcasters, as it makes it HARDER to ignore the…

  8. I think the new tool is kinda helpfull because it's easier to report and makes it more efficient but i think maybe the problem is in how easy is to create multiple accounts. I've seen people that i reported a few minutes later on the chat again with another account. Maybe it'd be better to make it more difficult to create it or have another way to verificate it.

  10. The Account Enforcements page states, "For the most serious offenses, we will immediately and indefinitely suspend your account with no opportunity to appeal." Yet, some users get suspended from Twitch seemingly indefinitely but somehow get their suspensions lifted. Such users need to be kept off Twitch for good, especially if they've been suspended multiple times in a short time frame.

For example, a user named DomDude64 has been suspended twice from Twitch within less than a month (9/25/2021 and 10/19/2021), but according to witness testimony, both times were supposedly permanent, and yet he successfully appeal both suspensions. His record of…

  11. vr is blowing up and with vr streamers, lately alot of vr streamers have been slipping by some of the rules and its kind of concerning. if you watch most of the streamers youll notice that the content feels more like fan service rather than a reflection to the game and/or personality. i feel like the rules for vr in general should just be more strict since the creations of most of the creators has only been sex related if not blatantly sexual. please rework some of the gameplay guidelines so that vr has specified rules since it is somewhat…

  12. Allow Individual Chat Messages and Vods to be Reported

Twitch's reporting tool is in serious need of an overhaul. It's frustrating to only be able to report someone by going over to the offending account, and gathering information.
While reporting accounts themselves is a good option, it should not be the only one, as it's tedious and people may not report accounts on those confusing conditions.
In order to promote a better Twitch community, reports should be made easier, so individual vods and chat messages should have an option to be reported themselves, with a button to do so, with…

  13. It baffles me that this is not already a thing considering there are so many insufferable narcissistic twats and rotters streaming these days but PLEASE for the love of god allow or give us the functionality to BLOCK streamers so that they never appear to us at all.

Yes there is the function whereby we can remove them from appearing if sorting by "Recommended for you" BUT they still appear if sorted by any other means which is often because if you sort your channels by "Highest Viewer" count for example, you can't avoid some of these. PLEASE PLEASE Allow…

  15. Twitch's changes to acceptable content this year explicitly created different rules for male and female streamers. Where can we start a dialog about what kind of message this sends to both women and those who objectify/dismiss female streamers?

  16. The fact that copyright holders are sending DMCA strikes for people who are listening to music during their stream is absurd. It's commercially absurd. It's ethically absurd and its practically absurd.

First of all the behaviour by publishers is completely against their own interests and is completely ignorant of how people consume content on the internet. This isn't surprising given that these industries are essentially dominated by boomer dinosaurs who used to sell us CDs at 30 dollars a pop (30 dollars in the 90s).

Now we can access any song we want with a click of a button. Most…

  17. I wanted suggestion that Streamers would be able remove a follower and set it the way he could not follow you again with a time limit or permanently. last year I contacted the staff about follower who refuse to unfollow even he hated me and always came back spy and lose my followers with false facts he never got anything of it. So I wanted to suggest this if anyone has similar situations, to get ability just simply remove the follower yourself and able control if you can follow you again.

  18. I would love to see a "Title Card" feature for chats on Twitch.

This feature would allow viewers and streamers to customize their pages and chats to fit their audience, allowing everyone to get to know fellow chatters, new or regular.

  19. Hello, there are channels that are used for fraudulent purposes and cleverly disguised as legitimate channels. Please note: ANIZUQ uses streamer MarcoEggebrecht's camera footage, FREYGARET uses AtlantisThief, ramilkaaalimka uses Rykke_, savarsikky uses mrandrejunior, zopapefro uses TimTheDo, toxicLilit uses Niajja and I'd also like to mention shelbyvandal, rinizukay, and terlosawyerhx. All of these channels use follower and viewer boosting, and they all follow the same principle.
