Don't disable auto-publish if copyrighted content is found in unpublished VODs I have two main categories, Software Development and dance games. The latter have little value as VODs, so these games are excluded from auto-publishing, and I usually delete the VOD quickly after.
However, the audio of the unpublished VOD is still scanned for copyrighted audio, and if something is found, auto-publish is disabled in general for my channel -- which is quite pointless, given that the problematic VODs were never published in the first place for exactly that reason, but it forces me to explicitly publish the development VODs by hand.

Add a Moderator Complaint form to report bad faith Channel Mods There should be an option on Twitch to report moderators that are going on power trips and abusing their power. There are some viewers on Twitch who are getting wrongfully and unfairly banned from chats, or are getting sent derogatory messages from a moderator after sending an unban request. Stop allowing suicidal ideation in usernames Seeing anything related to suicidal ideation is problematic for many individuals with mental health issues. There are a number of usernames with some form of suicidal reference in the name.
This was used by some people shortly after the hate raid incident to target veterans with mental health issues, such as myself. Now, I continue to see usernames like this, whether targeted or not, and it is not something that should be allowed.

Seperate Soundtrack by Twitch and the Vod music control plugin You created an amazing tool to resolve 95% of DMCA issues and decided to lock it behind Soundtrack by Twitch?? Why? If you give us the ability to tie an application(s) (Example: chrome for spotify/youtube etc.., or even a media player for local audio) to the "remove from vod" obs plugin, there would be no music from anywhere (except from in games) in any vods. Playing Music On Stream Allow creators to play music on stream even if not created by the user or having rights to it but are required to keep it a very low volume. I feel removing the ability for streamer to have background music of their, or viewers choice is taking away the personality of the streamer. Limited number of custom channel badges There are a lot of different games and interactions that users can participate in while watching streamers. I'd like to take this a step further, and be able to offer custom badges. For example, if a streamer is using Marbles on Stream, or some other game for viewers, they can award a badge to the user who most recently won.
Custom badges don't just need to be for stream game interactions or participations, but rather a way to allow streamers another avenue of recognising those in their community.

Better Appeals System I believe the system for users to appeal bans could be better improved by submitting an actual description and even getting the opinion of the streamer. If you are banned from a channel, please remove them from your "recommended channels" carousel When a person is banned from a channel, it turns out that the channel which they were banned from can be put on their recommended carousel.
First, it makes no sense to be offered a recommendation to a channel that wishes you not to go there. But also, for a case when a person is unaware why they are banned, it adds quite a bit of anxiety to see it repeatedly recommended and provides a less than stellar experience.
This should be a common sense feature to be approved.

A verification method that can be used to clearly and unambiguously exclude bots Many streamers are currently being flooded by bots. There are no adequate filter mechanisms such as Captcha or other authentication methods that probe the creation of multiple fake accounts.
Twitch should use a secure authentication method for account creation as soon as possible so that so-called bot accounts and fake accounts can no longer be created in the future.
These bots make it unnecessarily difficult for honest streamers to apply for a partnership. In addition, it is almost impossible for streamers to prove that they have not bought or deliberately used any bots such as follower bots.

Users randomly banned without ever being banned There is a bug I've seen a few dozen times where a user will be banned in a channel without ever having talked in it or, more importantly, without a record of a ban occurring from any moderators. These bans are always on 7/25/2019, at 4:39 PM, and are often done by someone who wasn't a moderator of the channel at the time. Unbanning these users works as normal, but they need to request an unban or we can't fix anything - meaning we have no idea how widespread this issue is.

Appeals process for DMCA strikes and more consistency regarding reprecussions Hi,
My ideas are as follows and some probably already mentioned.
Firstly - I do acknowledge that playing copyrighted music is a risk taken on when it is played, whether it's in-game or nightbot/itunes/spotify or other media player.
In the past, VODs were muted with a red bar on the bottom of VODs to show where copyright-flagged audio was detected.
I would advise going back to this and adding some sort of mouse-over tag so we can see what track/s were flagged and by whom so that it can be contested if necessary to ensure no abuse of the DMCA…14 votes -
Anonymous follow option Anonymous follow button.
I feel it would be great, as a streamer to have an anonymous follower button along with the normal follower button (or make the current follow button a drop down option to have an announced follow or anonymous follow). This would be great so the streamer can say thank you to the follower or allow the viewer to follow anonymously as they may not want the "attention" of being called out for following and continue to lurk without the pressure of having to reply etc.

Folders For Followed Channels Allow one level of folders for Followed channels. most of us now have a lot of followed channels it would be nice to organize them a little.
for example have a folder for friends a folder for say game type i.e. minecraft,cod etc. a folder for tech streams.
if that could be custom ie create rename and delete of folders and drag drop followed channels into them.

Please move the channel stream title back under the video stream Recently twitch has moved the stream title, viewer count, etc to the top of the video streams. I find this very distracting. Please put it back on the bottom or at least create an option to hide or move it somewhere else.

Buying viewers Controversial yes - strip away the viewer count. Will prevent streamers cheating the system by buying viewers, will even the playing field. And those who don’t have a massive ego, won’t mind as will still see stats.
