If you are banned from a channel, please remove them from your "recommended channels" carousel
When a person is banned from a channel, it turns out that the channel which they were banned from can be put on their recommended carousel.
First, it makes no sense to be offered a recommendation to a channel that wishes you not to go there. But also, for a case when a person is unaware why they are banned, it adds quite a bit of anxiety to see it repeatedly recommended and provides a less than stellar experience.
This should be a common sense feature to be approved.

Hey, not that we should have to do this. I have great news. I figured out how to remove this mean spirited streamer that banned me from recommended channels. If you are stuck, just go to this http://www.twitch.tv. go to streamer that banned you and click 3 dots and put down I am not interested. Now, no more mean spirited twitch streamer that banned me. I am so happy someone put this documentation down. I do not have to see his streaming channel anymore! :)

I agree, Twitch needs to fix this. I was banned from a twitch channel because the twitch streamer was mean spirited and just did not like me. I have been trying to remove that streamer from my recommended and since this feature is broken it still recommends them as a twitch channel? When will you fix this broken feature?

I am against this.
This should be handled by the block function, specifically, if the viewer has blocked the broadcaster, the broadcaster's channel should not be included in the recommended channels anymore.
There are channels I am banned from that I still like to watch, cases even, where the broadcaster is completely unaware of it, and I have no way to reach them to get the issue resolved. I don't want a filter bubble that excludes me from seeing if the broadcast is live. -

I support this idea, i used all the twitch tools to never see again a despicable person who banned me from the channel after help him for years and continued to cyberbully me. It continues to appear on the homepage among the recommended ones, precisely on the front page at the top. I shouldn't see this person anymore.
