Allow users to permanently black list or block specific streamers from ever appearing to them.
It baffles me that this is not already a thing considering there are so many insufferable narcissistic twats and rotters streaming these days but PLEASE for the love of god allow or give us the functionality to BLOCK streamers so that they never appear to us at all.
Yes there is the function whereby we can remove them from appearing if sorting by "Recommended for you" BUT they still appear if sorted by any other means which is often because if you sort your channels by "Highest Viewer" count for example, you can't avoid some of these. PLEASE PLEASE Allow us to permanently block channels from appearing. This is also useful if parents while supervising their children of course, want for some channels not to appear to them by accident even. It seems like a no brainer thing to be able to have a block list on a channel based website.
Thanks for your time.

While I have significant concerns for the language used here, this is actually a useful function the /block feature should include.
While I personally prefer seeing everything and would never make use of it, as it would hinder my ability to monitor those I deem abusive, I do suppose for normal people this would be very handy to have.

Enable users to block specific streams/streamers from appearing anywhere including suggestions feeds, the homepage, and within searches. There are certain streamers that can cause me (and I'm sure others) to have a very negative reaction when seeing the glimpses of their stream content. My epilepsy is not that difficult to manage, but some streamers that pop into my suggestions and on my home page consistently have content that makes me worried for my safety, and it would be a great feature to never have to worry about those specific ones by blocking them from showing. This could also significantly help those with PTSD.

I would love to be able to hide streamers like Amouranth from appearing anywhere on Twitch. I do not need to see her *** constantly. I can't even believe she is allowed to do that.

Allow users to add/remove streamers to/from a personal "blacklist" or "do not show/suggest" list. There are certain streamers that pop up as suggestions whos content, while not necessary violating Twitch user community rules, some people may personally find offensive, distasteful, abrasive, or just plain lewd/crass or otherwise objectionable. It is certainly easy enough to click off the streamers channel and find another streamer to watch however, Twitch frequently suggests the same streamer time I log in. I would prefer to be able to add such streamers to a list so that Twitch will never show me any of their activity or suggest their streams to me in case I forget how objectionable they were the last time I stumbled haplessly into their channel. Many social media platforms have such "block person" lists. Twitch should be no exception.
Twitch allows streamers to ban users from their channels/chat. Reciprocally, it should allow users to be able to ignore/block the activity of chosen streamers so that they never need to risk having them suggested or risk accidentally stumbling into offensive/inappropriate channels.Taking it one step further, even better would be to allow parents of younger viewers to create managed minor accounts where parents can whitelist/approve only the streamers they wish the account to be able to view.
