  1. This is a request for change in policy regarding Hateful Conduct for played media.

    Description:

When a user plays prepared media (image/audio/video) with the intent of using its violating slurs or hate symbols to express their own hateful sentiment, this currently doesn't violate the TOS. Meaning, instead of expressing bannable, hateful sentiment with their own voice or body, they play a clip/image instead to carry the sentiment. Essentially, using the media as a substitution to prevent getting banned, while still performing the otherwise bannable, hateful conduct.

This might currently already be a bannable offense for the "hard R" exception, but…

  2. In all campaigns, in the game category, make it so it shows if you've gotten the drop, like a little tick icon indicating you've claimed or got the drop.

And also a little indicator to see if the specific live channels are live or not.

Basically merging the Inventory and all campaigns page together.

  3. I came across a scenario this week where a popular streamer (KevoKoala) was banned mid-stream for being labeled a bot account. The email he received sounds like he got mixed in with a bunch of accounts flagged as bots and mass banned.

I feel like there should be protections in place for streamers where the flag is removed or at least sent to a human for review if they have over a certain number of subscriptions, average viewer count or followers. Something. There are plenty of qualifiers that can separate an active streamer's account from a malicious bot account. The…

  6. Okay Twitch, I've joined the DJ program since day 1 and I have been paying for copyright since. I'm fine with it, my problem is that this program is almost 14 months old and I still see a ton of DJ's playing under the music category to avoid being charged for copyrights. I mean, it's kinda unfair that you guys are making us pay and not them, right?

It's either you take action against these channels or your giving the people who complied to the rules a compensation. No more grey zone!

  7. I hope Twitch will return to Korea. I’ve tried many different streaming platforms, but none of them compare to Twitch. It would be great if Twitch could come back to Korea.

  8. Please allow Moderators of a stream to see the markers that a streamer makes.
Mods will sometimes go through VODs to help make clips, but if a streamer makes a marker for a clip, we're unable to see it unless the streamer takes the extra steps of giving us the timestamps they'd like clipped.
Giving Mods the ability to see a streamer's markers would make clipping a VOD a lot easier for both streamers and moderators.

  9. In no world is a 24-hour ban appropriate for promoting a terrorist manifesto. Hasan’s implication that a targeted attack—one that took two innocent lives—might be a false flag is not only appallingly irresponsible, it’s outright dangerous. Framing such a tragedy as a potential setup doesn’t “ask questions”; it spreads conspiracy under the thin disguise of critique. It muddies the truth and undermines the reality of targeted hate.

This behavior creates an unsafe environment—not just for viewers, but for Twitch’s employees, creators, and the broader community. The platform has a responsibility to protect its people, not shelter reckless rhetoric just because…

  11. I think its time we get a feature like this for VoD's when watching a stream late it always feels like your left out of the chat action. It would be nice to get a ghost post that is unique from the original chatters for future chatters.
This does bring in security issues so approving after chatters or filtering them so no one abuses it or just simply not turning it on would help combat the taboo commenters.
    Thanks, bomber!

  13. The word "Zionist" is not inherently a slur. It is a description of an ideology, namely that there ought to be a Jewish state located in Palestine. This ideology is related to an ongoing genocide, and banning it stops discussion of said crimes against humanity, as well as cracking down of Palestinian people discussing their lived experience.

I acknowledge that the word can be used in an antisemitic way, but so can "elites", "rich" and even "Jew" and "Jewish". Wholesale banning the word is an irresponsible overreach, and Twitch needs to reverse course on this matter.

    Twitch should instead…

  14. Hey everyone

I think twitch should make so that console streamers are able to access the overlays just like any other streamer has, and yes you could use LightStreams to stream but you lose the quality that everyone is wanting. If they do this they should also consider adding a way to change them like from stream manager page or have it so at a set timer from when you have gone live the overlay will stay up until the timer hits 0 and then would change from the "Stream is starting soon" to the actully gameplay.

  15. Allow one level of folders for Followed channels. most of us now have a lot of followed channels it would be nice to organize them a little.

for example have a folder for friends a folder for say game type i.e. minecraft, cod etc. a folder for tech streams.

if that could be custom ie create rename and delete of folders and drag drop followed channels into them.

examples of this discord server list

  16. There is an epidemic on Twitch whereby creators are using a legitimate GAME CATEGORY to refer to them sleeping. Now, popularized by never ending Sub--a-thons which is another problem for the platform as its meaning as a one-time power support event has been subverted to just copy-catting the meme of its initial intention.

For sleeping, just create a category of its own and DE-MONITZE the **** out of it seeing as this is the LAST thing that advertisers and sponsors want as there is no activity on screen that is going on even though there may be some chat activity…

  17. This ticket can be under Charity, Legal and Moderation categories

There has been TOO many incidents where creators have said that funds from Sus and Bits will go to charity, their moderation teams, etc.

Twitch needs CLEAR guideline updates to discourage this behavior as its gray area scamming their communities in the fact that end users buy bits, or gift subs and Twitch takes a cut of those funds, and the charities the creators say they are supporting NEVER see those funds.

Any mention of Charity if on stream, in chat, in shared chat, in social media posts or other…

  20. Twitch user reports should be kept confidential, and Twitch staff should not disclose reporter's identities to streamers to protect users from potential retaliation and maintain a safe reporting environment. If streamers know who reported them, they might harass those users directly or through their communities, deterring users from reporting legitimate violations due to fear of being identified. Create a dedicated reporting form accessible via the Twitch platform (web and app) that does not require users to log in or reveal identifiable information. Replace the current reporting system, which may tie reports to user accounts, with an option for fully anonymous…
