Users who are not signed in can go into Mature Content channels Hey,
Since I couldn't find a category for it in Support, I will put it as a bug/idea.
When you don't login into twitch you can simply enter names of "mature content" channels and browse freely.I tested it on Smart TVs, phones, PCs and went to several known "mature content" (18+) channels and watched freely.
This means any kid can watch freely that content.I recommend enforcing it that Mature Content requires Age + Mail verification.

Permitted list not allowing the word to be used in chat The permitted terms that are added do not end up permitting the word to be used in chat. For example, blocking the word "sex" prevents the chat from using the pride emotes that have the words "sex" in it due to the wildcard. It would be nice if Twitch found a way to sort the Permitted Words list and allow it so the permitted words actually allow the viewers to say the word in chat without it still being blocked.
17 votesCan you please clarify what term(s) you’re adding to the Permitted Terms list in this example? Are you saying you’ve added “sex” as a Blocked Term, “pansexual” as a Permitted Term, and you still can’t use the Pansexual Pride emote?

Twitch Clips Desynced since Update So for a few years I have downloaded clips for my partner and I, to make compilation videos each month to post on YouTube. I started noticing about 3 months ago that some of the clips are broken. The audio and video are completely desynced. It seems to have started around the time Twitch started pushing the Landscape and Portrait clip editor. I am fairly certain it is a bug in the system and not a problem with my download/video player. Unhide Chat (Expand) control is hidden for narrow windows With recent changes to the Twitch channel interface on desktop browser, not only is chat hidden by default when opening the channel, but users can be stuck having chat hidden with no way to get it back easily.
If the user changes their window dimensions in such a way as to prompt Twitch to hide chat, they cannot bring it back without first stretching the window to be wide enough that Twitch deigns to display the "Expand" control at the edge of the page to unhide chat.

Exclude blocked users from channel category list Game directories, e.g. https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/VALORANT on the website should not include channels that you blocked. This already works on mobile but not on the website.

Streamer-shouts i think that this is a bug.. i turned off notifications for those annoying Streamer-shouts.. i just dont like them. sorry. so like i said.. i turned them off and i still do get spammed with lots of Streamer-shouts

Blocked Terms and Phrases Privacy Didn't Remove Blocked Phrase in Mod View While setting up blocked terms and phrases I accidentally didn't set the term to private. When I went back to correct this the private terms were still sitting in my "Mod Action" panel. I assumed it would work retroactively, but it didn't and it needs to.

Sort By does not hold selection at all. Sort by keeps defaulting to recommend literally on every page, when I change it if I leave and comeback or even refresh it reverts back to recommended. Please fix it to remember what I left it at, it is unbelievably frustrating.

Twitch Clips I am Completely unable to make clips. I first tried on my phone yesterday opened and reopened the app multiple times, restarted my phone multiple times, and absolutely nothing. Better Wellness Features for Streamers and Viewers Spending long hours streaming or watching content can make it difficult to stay active. It would be great if Twitch introduced optional wellness reminders, such as stretch breaks, hydration notifications, or short movement prompts that users could enable during long sessions.

emote menu There is a UI issue when pulling up the emote menu and there is a pinned chat. The layering places the pinned chat OVER the emote menu and it really shouldn't. It blocks rows 3-5 of emotes and there isn't really anything you can do about it. This happens both in and out of moderation views.

Issue with the ad report function. There was an ad today (12/17/25) for the Creation Museum and when I went to file a report "The Creation Museum promotes a hateful ideology that targets LGBTQIA+ people while also denying scientific facts and teaching young earth creationism, that evolution teaches social darwinism, and that LGBTQIA+ people are demonic.
