Declassify "Zionist" as a slur
The word "Zionist" is not inherently a slur. It is a description of an ideology, namely that there ought to be a Jewish state located in Palestine. This ideology is related to an ongoing genocide, and banning it stops discussion of said crimes against humanity, as well as cracking down of Palestinian people discussing their lived experience.
I acknowledge that the word can be used in an antisemitic way, but so can "elites", "rich" and even "Jew" and "Jewish". Wholesale banning the word is an irresponsible overreach, and Twitch needs to reverse course on this matter.
Twitch should instead focus on cracking down on conspiracy theories based on inherent personal traits (ethnicity, race, spiritual beliefs, orientation, gender, personal anatomy, etc), as this is, in essence, what bigotry is. Prioritizing this would better accomplish the goals the goals that Twitch seems to be (and hopefully IS) working toward, for safety and accessibility.

twitch doesn't seem to be a space I'd recommend anyone should be in, if this is the kind of policies they pursue
