Dance category request I've noticed that it's quite difficult to find other people who are doing dance streams on Twitch. Every once in a while, I come across another dancer, but they often share the same struggle—I frequently hear them express that they don't realize there are others out there streaming dance content, just like them.
This lack of visibility is a common challenge and it makes it hard for us to connect and support one another. I truly believe that having a dedicated dance category on the platform could significantly improve discoverability for all of us. It would not only help viewers…

Remove hardware acceleration requirement from 2k streams If i turn on hardware acceleration on my browser the video flickers between black screen and normal video constantly, this happens on any browser and also still happens after a reboot and all my drivers are up to date. Remove this from being needed so people can watch 2k streams normally no other website needs this and it is currently the only thing stopping me watching 2k streams

VoD Comment/Chat Function An option to add comments based on your current point in the VoD, or to interact with current chat and link to current view point, would make VoDs a much more interactive and community based function. I can't count the numbers of times I've wanted to comment something on a VoD.

Long form content As a long-term patron of both YouTube and Twitch, (and Twitch affiliate) I have always found that Twitch and partners have had significantly better policies and moderation. As a livestreaming platform, Twitch has always reigned supreme in my mind. However, one chapter (and siginificant investment) of Twitch’s journey that I think could be interesting would be support for long-form videos to be uploaded to the platform similar to YouTube or Video. Twitch’s dynamic highlights and clipping tools would already boost the popularity of streams and videos and would allow for more reach with streamers. It’s no secret that YouTube’s current…

Make clip creator video resolution adjustable Currently the clip creator will only play the video in the highest resolution (Usually 1080p), this makes it harder to create clips mid-stream because it often takes time to buffer; allowing changing resolution like in the normal video player will remedy this.

Alpha auto clips not working I was invited to Alpha Auto Clip testing and the feature is not working. It does not generate any clips. I have it enabled. I'm excited about the feature, but can't even test it.

Inaccurate Clips length For the past month or so, Clips no longer save accurately from when they are clipped, resulting in them having parts earlier than wanted, and cutting off up to almost a whole second off of the end of the clip. Trying to use the Edit feature to trim it proplery after clipping just doesn't work accurately either. It used to be accurate, so why did it change?

Logarithmic Volume Slider The volume slider is a commonly misunderstood thing. Slider tools tend to be linear, with defaults usually ranging from 0 to 100 in steps of 1, as the volume control does here on Twitch.
HOWEVER, audio is not linear, it's logarithmic, and because of this, volume controls tend to suffer. There's decades of documentation on this programming mistake all across the internet, with multiple public letters, blog posts, and other comments on why volume sliders need to use a logarithmic conversion; a cursory search will provide extensive examples. Please change the volume control to be logarithmic, so that 1% is…

Allow users to pin their favourite channels (multi select) Please allow users to pin specific streamers to the top of their list. There are some streamers which I enjoy who are on the low end of viewer count compared to others I watch. I will not always realize they are online because I follow so many channels. Allowing me to pin specific people lets me keep my favourite streamers on top, no matter how popular they are, lifting up some of the lowest members, this also helps boost the visibility of less popular streamers, allowing you to keep more of your performers organically without needing to 'boost' them. This…

Add Navigation Arrows in Fullscreen Mode I’d like to suggest adding forward/backward navigation arrows to the fullscreen video player. This would allow users to browse channels without exiting fullscreen or relying on browser navigation buttons. It would make channel surfing smoother and more immersive

Clips Use To End Much Earlier Than Actually Cut In Clip-Creator Keep how clips are cut. Especially since the creation of clips received an overhaul the actual clip doesn't keep the exact starting and ending points as they were set in clip creator. It's very frustrating when you put effort in cutting the clip properly just to see the result missing up to one entire second in the end.

Hide only the region locked chapter of a VOD instead of the whole thing I often find myself unable to watch a VOD because only a portion of it contains a chapter with a category locked by local law (gambling in this case), making me unable to watch the remaining portion of it even if allowed. Do something like the audio censor with DMCA music, in this case you also put a black screen on it
