1. Twitch As A Streaming Service

   The problem is, every time I want to watch a movie or a TV show, I search online to find which streaming service does stream that movie, so many options and the cost pile up, usually I either pirate it or just forget about it.

   So many streaming services, both in US and elsewhere, cost pile up and confusion happens.

   Twitch and Prime Video -- both being held by the same mother Co., Amazon -- are positioned to create the best movies and streaming service there is.

   The idea is, you would create a "Movies Library" on Twitch just like the "Category" section on the platform that has the different video games to stream, this library would be a mirror of the library of content on the platform "Prime Video".

   I, as a user, would be able to create a Twitch channel to stream movies ONLY TO SUBSCRIBERS, I would make a business out of this channel, I subscribe to Prime Video AND to a new "Twitch Prime Streamer" subscription plan so that I am allowed to stream the lib from Prime Video to my subs.
   I would create a schedule of streams and my channel's username could be something like "@HorrorStreams" or "@RomanceMovs" or the like.
   I would run my computer during the times of streaming to stream the movie full screen no commentary directly from Prime Video.

   If there is a user who wants to watch a movie but not pay for an entire monthly subscription to a streaming platform, the user can just go to Twitch and pick the movie from the library and go to a streamer who is streaming it, subscribe to that streamer, playback the VOD from the beginning and start watching.

   Someone who loves a weekly weekend horror movies would subscribe paying 1 or 2 dollars a month to "@HorrorMovies" that has a public schedule of weekly or daily horror movies on Twitch.

   Maybe allowing viewers to playback the stream from the beginning is too much control, but for a dollar I get to watch the movie I want with occasional ad breaks -- for snacks refill mid-movie -- I would totally do that and I do not mind the strict schedule where I have to attend to watch the movie on time because I can't roll it back to play from the beginning.

   Then you would implement a feature where I can connect the schedule of "@HorrorStreams" to my calendar so that I can keep up with them.

   The ideas are limitless, Twitch would be "THE STREAMING SERVICE".

2. having separate video quality when viewing multiple streams.

   For the last week or so, I have had an issue while viewing multiple streams. I have streams at different video qualities because there are some I just listen to and usually only have one that I am viewing. For context, the reason I do this is because my internet provider has a data cap, so I only have a good video quality on the stream I am actively viewing.

   This issue is that for the last week, when I change the quality on one stream, within a few minutes other streams start changing to that quality automatically.

   For someone that is trying to efficiently use bandwidth this is problematic.

   I've been using Twitch for years, and have had no issue with this for years. it has only been an issue for the last week. I have not made any changes myself, same browser and so on that I have been using.

3. Add 10/30 second skip buttons to VOD player

   Can we get quick skip forward/backward controls when watching past broadcasts, similar to what other video platforms offer, to make navigating VODs easier 10 to 30 seconds should be fine it’s hard scrolling through time line on an iPad especially long ones the smallest finger scroll could be 5 min or something and trying to re watch something 10 seconds ago you could have to go back multiple minutes just to see it again. I only watch on iPad not sure if this is just an issue for iPads only or just the platform in general

4. Disable Stream Quality Throttling for Twitch Turbo Subscribers from Russia

   For several months, you have been limiting the maximum stream quality to 720p and the bitrate to 3000 for viewers from Russia, explaining this by saying that you receive insufficient revenue from us.

   I watch Overwatch, which is a very fast-paced game, and a bitrate of 3000 turns it into a blurry mess. Because of this, many of us use various workarounds to restore normal quality. As a result, you are effectively gaining nothing from these restrictions: the load on your servers ends up being the same, while we simply face additional inconvenience.

   I would like to suggest a solution that would benefit both sides: allow Twitch Turbo subscribers to watch streams at maximum quality without these restrictions. This would be a strong incentive for many of us to pay for the subscription. The load on your servers would remain the same, but you would receive additional revenue.

5. Don't burn-in subtitles and let us edit the subtitles

   The new feature to add subtitles / captions is a good feature, but unfortunately it burns it into the video. There's also no option to edit the subtitles, so it will burn in incorrect subtitles. There's also no option to change the position either, so it might cover up important parts. So I have do disable this feature for now.

   Let it be an optional feature for users who want it. Let us edit the subtitles at any time, even after the clip is made. Both the timing, spelling and how words are grouped.

6. Twitch logo and channel name on clips

   When exporting clips to social media, automatically create an image with the Twitch logo and channel name so viewers know where the clip was created and where they can find similar content. Allow users to move, resize, or move this image in the "edit layout" section.

7. location restricted video resolution

   Some streamers stream in 1440p resolution which isn't available for viewing globally so we are stuck watching in lower resolutions (which is mostly fine). However, a lot of the time the next highest resolution that is available is 720p, which is subpar in 2026. Please let us select 1080p in those cases.

8. Watch Streak Not Being Counted

   My Watch Streak is not being counted correctly. I watch every stream ENTIRELY and it does not count it sometimes. I tried to recover it, and it would not work. I should not have to try and recover it when I was ACTIVELY chatting during the entire stream. I lost my 25-day streak with my friend channel name: berxe. I would like to hear back about my streak being restored.

9. Being unable to fix a problem, just because you don't want me to.

   If we choose a video quality, WHY do you think we don't leave on "automatic"???? you did put automatic change on the other options too.
   OFTEN my video is reduced to 32p.

   Please... Automatic is automatic, manual is MANUAL. ("but the video gonna be laggy." I don't care if I choosed so)

   For me, its a bug, because it's not doing what I asked it to, but I do think it's intended by you, but I really hope it's not, cuz stream is dying global wide, and it's sad to seeing you making me leave.

    You can help by creating a separate domain for clips so they can be created:

    If your misunderstood what exactly isn't working.
    It's impossible to create clips because clicking "Create Clip" redirects all users in the region to a clip creation page that begins with the domain address: https://d1ndex63qxojbr.cloudfront.net
    This address is blocked in our region, and clip creation simply doesn't have internet access to the domain: cloudfront.net
    You simply need to create another domain that will link to the clip creation page at the new domain address: https://d1ndex63qxojbr.cloudfront-clips.net (you can create any domain yourself), and redirect our region to the new clip creation domain.
    The reason for blocking the cloudfront.net domain is completely different and doesn't affect the Twitch platform. It's just that another resource was operating at that address, which our region decided to block access to, and Twitch clip creation was affected along with that domain.

13. Localized Display Names break Clip Author links (404 Error)

    Hello,
    I found a technical bug regarding localized Display Names (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) in the “Clip Creator” section.
    The issue: When a user with a localized Chinese display name creates a clip, the “Author” link on the clip page points to a non-existent URL using Chinese characters (e.g., twitch.tv/我喜欢...) instead of their actual alphanumeric username. This leads to a 404 error page.

15. Increase Clip Length Limit

    Hello,

    I would like to suggest increasing the maximum clip length on Twitch. Currently, clips are limited to around 1 minute, which is often not enough to capture full moments, especially in storytelling, competitive gameplay, or longer highlights.

    Other platforms allow longer clips (up to 3 minutes), which gives more flexibility to creators and viewers. Increasing the clip length on Twitch (for example to 2–3 minutes) would greatly improve content creation and sharing.

    This change would help streamers, editors, and communities better showcase important moments without needing external tools.

    We've been told for over a year now that it's coming but there is absolutely no movement. Australia isn't exactly a small market for Twitch, at what point does this become abandonware?

    Expected Behavior (behavior prior to 2026/02/20):
    Choosing "Top 24H" sorting in Clips displays clips sorted by views

    Current Behavior (behavior after 2026/02/20):
    Choosing "Top 24H" sorting displays what looks to be brand new clips (1 views first)

    How to replicate:
    1. Visit any page that allows clip sorting (eg. Browse > Category > Game > Clips, or Specific creator/user > Videos > Clips)
    2. Change sorting to "24H"
    3. Broken behavior can be observed.

    Every other date range works properly (eg. 7D, 30D, ALL).

    EDIT: looks to be fixed on 02/24

18. Portrait mode broken

    The clip feature, especially Portrait mode is broken for many older clips.

    I cannot edit/see the preview in the dimentions I want for older clips. It was working fine last week but now, for some reason, it seems like majority of clips that were not created after my May 2nd 2025 clips are broken can cannot adjust the portrait version of the clips regardless if they had already a portrait version editted or not.

    Tried on Chrome and Firefox and the same result. Latest clips/Clips after 2nd May 2025 onwards seem to work as normal. Can still save the clip but the proportions will be stuck on the location I set the boxes at.

19. video offline screens

    it would be nice to be able to add videos as offline screens, i have a nice animation for my channel but i'm currently unable to use it because it can only be jpg, png or gif, it's a small change but it would give a better look to the channel in general, and it would even give an opportunity to add an introduction to the channel

20. Vector text for league UI like dota

    Work with riot to make the text on screen vector based for league of legends, like you did for dota 2. In particular, pro play ui. It makes vieweship substantially easier, especially at lower qualities. If u end up doing it, please dont skimp out on mobile like dont just implment it for pc. The whole point is to be able to watch lol games on low quality on data.
