Add chatter_flags to channel.chat.message event In several discussions across Twitch-related Discord servers, it has been highlighted that the channel.chat.message payload currently lacks specific chatter status fields, such as ismoderator or isvip. Given the already substantial size of the payload, adding individual key-field pairs for each potential status could unnecessarily increase both bandwidth usage and processing time.
To address this, I propose the introduction of a single key: chatter_flags. This field would utilize a bit flag to represent multiple statuses within a single integer value. This approach not only minimizes data transmission but also simplifies the process of updating and checking user statuses—especially as…

New vods category This is coming from a mods point of view I think it would be really cool if y’all added a category called running the vod back or vod replay something like that my reasoning is now a days you have so many people who do long streams like a 24 hour or a subathon stream and when they step away even if it’s just to eat sometimes they put on previous Vods for their community to watch when they get back and yes the mods can pin a message saying he they stepped away this is a vod but not…

Feature Request: User-Selectable Audio Track for Live Streams With the capability streamers currently have to broadcast multiple audio tracks (such as VOD and Live tracks through tools like OBS), it would be beneficial to add an option for viewers to select which audio track they want to listen to during a live stream.
This feature would allow viewers to choose between the Live Track (which includes all audio, such as alerts and music) or the VOD Track (where certain audio elements, like alerts or background music, may be muted for copyright or viewer experience reasons). This selection can enhance the viewing experience by giving users more control over…

Clipping feature is bugged When you download clips now, they stutter and chunk along for the first few seconds. This has been going on since the clip editor update (which is great by the way, just need this bug fixed). The clips also aren't able to be published on twitter, as twitter says the clips are higher than 60 FPS now. Please fix this, as it is not allowing me and others to do stream highlights videos, and also disallows shares on social media channels for promoting our streams.

Fix VODs that are cut off because of audio split The last segment of VODs are missing (~10s), and this occurs on channels with split audio. You can see that all their VODs end with 0
examples - willneff, cyr , fanfan(notice when she's at a different setup it doesn't occur)

Revert the Change to Clip UI The new UI and process for making a clip is so incredibly slow, awkward, and hard to look at. I understand wanting to imitate TikTok with the vertical clipping, but... Please just let creators do that themselves, or something.
Don't force the rest of us to suffer through this awful clipping experience just so that Twitch can try and steal some TikTok viewership.
I used to love clipping moments for streamers and posting them in their discords or sharing with my friends, but the new system/UI is so terrible that the following happens.
Funny moment > I press Clip >…

Twitch Create Clip UI no longer supports fullscreen The old UI for creating clips let me view the video I was clipping in fullscreen. The new UI shows me the video in a tiny preview window that makes the details basically impossible to see (e.g. I watch programming streams, and I can no longer read any of the 1080p text in the clip preview video player).
Pleaesssseeseeseeeee add the fullscreen button/hotkey back to the video player on the create clip page so that I can actually see what I'm clipping!

Render the clips into portraits with the same quality and resolution as the VOD. After a certain update to Twitch's Video Studio/Clips Interface, portrait clips lost quality and resolution, resulting in inferiority to VOD's.

Viewer Interaction: Control the Streamer’s Facecam I propose a new feature that allows viewers to interact with the stream by adjusting the size and position of the streamer’s facecam in real-time. This can be implemented as a reward through channel points, bits, or subscriptions, giving viewers a fun and engaging way to personalize their experience. This feature would enhance interactivity and offer streamers a unique way to connect with their audience dynamically.

New clip creator, editor (always) starts with audio muted The new clip creator, editor (Create Clip, Edit Clip screen/menu) starts with muted audio, so you have to unmute the clip you're creating, editing, or just saved and rewind it because of autoplay each time you open the creator/editor. Please make the editor start with unmuted audio, or better yet, remember the audio mutedness state like the rest of the site, so if you had the audio muted on the last page you watched something on (stream, VOD, clip) the clip you're creating/editing will start with audio off, otherwise it will start unmuted.

Disable on-screen pop-ups Dear Twitch, when I am watching a stream in full screen, I do not want to see hype-train notifications, pinned chat messages etc blocking up a portion of the stream, please give me the option to disable these, I find them intrusive and annoying, and it ruins my viewing experience.
I'm not asking for them to be removed, just for me to be able to disable them so they dont pop-up while watching in full screen.

Keep Unpublished Clips The new clipping feature introduced recently removed clips being created if they are not published, which now means streamers potentially stand to lose many clips! I personally lost over 20 clips recently because I tend to take clips during a stream, but obviously won't be able to process them while streaming, then I return after a day or so to continue the clipping process.
HOWEVER with this new system chances are those tabs end up expiring and you now no longer have a way to access those clips you took.
At least with the old system the clips would be…

Clip manager missing [channel that gave me permission to feature] "Who is allowed to feature Clips?
Streamers and their editors can feature Clips by default. Streamers can choose to grant featuring access to Moderators by visiting their Clips settings. Moderators will be notified when they are given featuring permissions."Where?!
I was given this permission by a streamer. Now, in the clip manager there is no selection for this streamers channel. The only two options are clips of my channel and clips I've created.3 votes -
Show the real date of an edited clip on the phone app Hello,
i edited a clip and made it shorter than the original was. (great feature btw)
Now it shows on the normal twitch web page, that the clip was made 8 month ago (which is correct) but on the Phone app it shows the date where i edited the clip.
It should show the original date and not when i edited the clip on the phone app, since it is the same clip from 8 months ago and it would confuse the viewer when the same clip suddenly hasn't the original date anymore.

Allow us to easily leap to the point in a VOD where a clip was created At times, it'd be handy to be able to find out where exactly a Clip happened in your VOD. This could be extremely handy for creating a new Clip that's a bit longer than a viewer made it, or perhaps you know something else that you'd like to Clip happened a minute or two before/after that. I've more often than not found myself having to search through my own VODs for the moment a specific Clip happened in order to find what I need, and optimise my content for TikTok.

Allow us to make Clips direct from the Highlighter The Highter is pretty solid, but it could use some modernisation. I feel the Video Producer/Highlighter could use a more convenient/easy way of generating Clips right from the feature itself. There is currently no way to create a Clip without creating a Highlight first, then downloading the Highlight - or creating a clip directly from your VOD, rendering the Highlighter unneeded entirely.
The Highlighter would benefit from having an extra button that allows the user to create a clip from where their cursor currently is in the timeline. This would be useful, because the Highlighter is the only place we…

Clips Preview integration (Open Graph) is broken Open Graph data are not correctly updated after a clip is created.
If a clip URL is posted in eg. Discord, Discord may not display a large and clickable preview image; you may only see title and little picture.
Also, when a clip title is changed (by the clip creator), Open Graph data are updated only after 48 hrs. Open Graph data should be updated immediately.

Non-standard Clips URL Since the clipping tool has been updated during this summer, the page gives us a URL that doesn't correspond to the usual clip URLs.
We previously had a URL of the form: https://clips.twitch.tv/RandomDictionnaryWords-4ZFs9PkmZbaX1mSl
And now we have a URL of the form: https://www.twitch.tv/streamer_name/clip/RandomDictionnaryWords-4ZFs9PkmZbaX1mSl
This new URL does display the clip, but no longer, for example, displays deleted clip errors.
