Optimizing the app for scrolling Imagine being able to double click on the screen and be able to go 10 seconds back or forward, we're not living in 2012 after all, be like pornhub, youtube think of your customers. Now I double click and chat comes up, I scroll to the side and chat comes up it's not optimal and it's annoying hope you understand what I mean <3 ;)

Clip Bugs As an avid clipper in the community I'm in (I've made over 400 clips this year alone), there are a couple of absolutely infuriating bugs I've been dealing with for several years now.
The first issue is a bug where the first 60 seconds of video of the 90 seconds of captured, editable clip footage will completely disappear, and you'll be stuck with only the most recent 30 seconds. Adding chat to clips / Option to have chat overlay over stream when live When making clips of streamers, could you add the chat to the clip as well? Feel like watching clips with chat running on the side adds a lot. Overlapping chat to the video might help.
Also when watching streamers live, any way to add an option to overlap chat over the stream or have it the way it is now? I like to watch on theatre mode, and chat takes up a lot of real estate on my screen. Some streamers have chat in OBS so i get rid of chat.

Streams that output in 21:9 aspect ratio have stretched thumbnails When a streamer outputs their broadcast in 21:9 aspect ratio (3440x1440, 2560x1080etc) the thumbnail for the stream is stretched vertically to compensate for the thumbnail's forced 16:9 scale.
A bug fix that automatically adds black bars horizontally across the top & bottom on thumbnails the same as twitch automatically does for the stream itself would be beneficial and not cause viewers to be mislead on someone's overall channel quality.

How can we if the Rerun feature on the Creator Dashboard no longer exists?! We need a way to rerun our VODs. I don't want to use my encoders from my streaming software in order to play reruns. That becomes more and more complicated, especially to small and newer streamers on the platform.

Improve Highlight Feature Currently, the Highlight feature is just the Clip feature without a length limit, which can lead to some lackluster highlights - especially in regards to highlights featuring multiple segments of a stream or even an entire stream. That said, I'd like to see some basic features added such as:
1.) The ability to add transitions / fades between segments.
2.) The ability to add effects such as fast-forwarding or slowmotion to portions of the highlight.
3.) The ability to manually mute audio from portions of the highlight in order to censor parts of the stream without having to cut it…

Removing Twitch link when exporting VOD to YouTube I would like the ability to prevent the link to my Twitch page from automatically being inserted in my Exports to YouTube from Twitch since Youtube erroneously labeled it as a scam link so having the option of no link prevents YouTube from defaming my Twitch Link and giving me channel strikes.

Options to disable autoplay/automute When I click on a clip, it opens, immediately starts playing, but starts muted. This really makes no sense; I always end up having to restart the clip after unmuting it to catch the start of the clip and it's annoying. I either want it to autoplay unmuted, or to not autoplay at all (but still not default to mute). Best solution would be to give users the options "what do you want to happen when you open a clip? Start muted? Y/N Autoplay? Y/N"

Clear 'unpublished' clips If users exit the clip editor without selecting "Publish", a clip with the stream title is still saved. These clips create clutter and detract from browsing all channel clips. Ideally these unintended clips should not be saved/posted.

Since clips always start muted, make them click-to-play instead of autoplay Current behaviour (in web browser):
You open a clip, and it start to autoplay, but the sound is muted. So you have to click unmute, and then rewind the clip, to hear the beginning. Annoying!
(I understand that muting autoplay videos is a choice made by web browsers.)
Better behaviour would be:
You open a clip, and it doesn't autoplay. You click play to start it, and then it doesn't need to be muted.
Alternative solution:
Place a "hint" by the unmute button, showing the user how to disable this behaviour in their browser. E.g. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay

streamer-side transcoding Currently, the only option for transcoding regardless of a streamer's own setup, is to pray you're lucky.
This harms a ton of smaller streamers, viewers, and Twitch Profits alike. It forces streamers to prioritise lower quality, which wards off viewers in more economically sound positions in order to get the viewers required to get noticed by the clearly viewer driven promotion algorithm. This is highly self-contradicting, leading to the only chance for twitch to maximise profit being streamers downprioritising the users that would be the most likely to contribute large amounts.

Video buffering image Instead of the purple circle that goes round to show the video is buffering, have a streamer uploaded image that displays instead. If you do this you can get rid of offline channel image on the player because people will be customed to using trailers.
So yeah, a custom buferring image o the streamers' choice to replace purple circle.

Being able to watch/highlight unpublished vods In this most recent age the unpublish feature is really helpful but in order to clip, highlight and even watch the VOD you have to publish it first. Which defeats the purpose

Choice of Default Max Length for Creating Clips It would be nice to be able to choose the default max length of a clip when an Elgato Stream Deck is integrated. For example, I've opted to make clips myself using the "Create Clip" action on the Stream Deck. My gripe with this is that all the clips default to 30 secs. This is unfortunate when there are moments that are within the 90 sec. max, but fall outside of the 30 sec. default. Twitch Discover (Updated) On September 24th I posted an idea for a new app for Twitch that would be like TikTok or YouTube for Twitch clips, this is because short form content is much more consumable.
Upon discussion and feedback from streamers this should not be an app, since it would be much harder to get people to download and use the app. Instead this should be built right into the site already.
On the front page where you see the 4 purple buttons that say Games, IRL, Music and ESports, there should be a 5th tab called Discover or maybe better yet…

Add option to split VOD export to YouTube into 12 hour segments Currently when exporting a VOD to YouTube you can export it as a single file or split it into 15 minute segments if you YouTube isn't verified. What I am requesting is that an additional option is added to split the export into 12 hour segments since this is the maximum that YouTube will accept.
The reason I would like this is that any of my streams that are over 12 hours are unable to be added to my YouTube unless I split them into 15 minute segments but this just doesn't make any sense.

정기구독자 전용 동영상을 삭제 하려면 정기 구독을 하고 동영상을 끝까지 봐야 삭제 할수 있는데 실수로 잘 못 눌렀다가 좋아 하지도 않는 스트리머를 정기구독 까지 해서 동영상을 삭제 해야 할 필요가 있을까요? 너무 불편합니다.@. 그냥 시간 지나면 자동으로 삭제 될 수 있도록 하거나 설정에서 "계속 시청 동영상 삭제" 기능을 넣었으면 좋겠습니다.

Clipping is horrendous and only getting worse Over the past few years i've been clipping for several channels and I can easily say my experience using the clipping tool gets worse every year.
