  1. I have seen less and less ads around alcohol on twitch which is great its good to see a company pull away from those advertisements as Alcohol is a form of drug it contains ethanol and should be classed under the community policy regarding drug use, tobacco is in the same exact boat as alcohol its classed as a drug since one of the main chemicals in tobacco is Nicotine so its a given that Alcohol, Tobacco, and Marijuana should be classed all as drugs instead of it just being marijuana as the two aforementioned drugs are highly toxic and…

  2. delete ****/pedophile/zoophile content from your platform.

I don't understand what you want to give the platform, but it seems to be becoming a ****/pedophile haven.

I hope you will take care of your platform and give it a glorious past.

  3. While your recent changes to the Sexual Content Policy are a step in the right direction, I think you should go much further. Streamers should be able to show whatever they want. There is nothing unsafe about provocative imagery. If a viewer doesn't want to see what any given streamer is showing, it is their prerogative to not watch it.

  4. Your "Safety" policy prohibits "realistically doctored nudity" without any explanation or examples of what that even means. I suggest updating the policy to provide clarity on that.

  5. With the new guidelines Twitch should blur thumbnails that is showing any sort of nudity and should add ID age verification to watch 18+ streams

  6. I was happy for new artistic nudity update but didn't expect this site to become full of aroused genitals. Is it still artistic nudity or po***graphy at this point?

How can a drawing with fully erect, wet genitals be classified as artistic when we all know what is the point of this kind of art? There is a difference between a nude portrait or a naked silhouette and some 18+ anime drawing with characters showing off body in sexual manner.

And it's the first thing EVERYONE sees when they enter art category.

If this kind of stuff is okay, can…

  7. Dear Twitch Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express deep concerns and respectfully request a reconsideration of the recent Terms of Service (TOS) update, specifically pertaining to sexual content, on the Twitch platform.

While we acknowledge the necessity of maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all users, the latest TOS adjustments appear to have inadvertently created a significant negative impact, especially among the younger audience. There is a growing prevalence of individuals disregarding the guidelines, promoting explicit content, including links to adult services like OnlyFans, and displaying graphic sexual imagery during live streams.…

  8. With the Art category going nuts with full nudity right now, the thumbnail system, which pulls a screencapture every 5 minutes, is displaying full nudity with zero age verification. You're running perilously close to some serious legal problems if you don't find a solution to that pretty quickly.

  9. Sexual Themes new classification child nudity.

Due to the recent content policy update - sexual themed artists are now drying children/lolis naked on Twitch. Absolutely get RID of this. As well as give us the option to block ALL channels using the Sexual Themes tag - I do not want to see a big dog or dragon genitalia on Twitch - that is not why I'm using the platform, I do not want to see nudity - that is not why I'm using the platform.

I cannot imagine how this went over your heads before releasing this content policy update…

  10. Its nice to see the new policies regarding nudity and sexual content but you might want to add a few things:

When you go into the art category, the preview of those streams that showcase nudity are not blurred and you don't even have to log-in in order to watch them

For this i suggest that you blur all nudity streams, add a filter for the people who don't want to see that type of content and force people to log-in in order to watch +18 streams

I have also seen nudity showcasing paraphilias like "loli" and "feral" animals, it…

  13. I suggest that the new guidelines allowing"Artistic Nudity - which concern
fictionalized artistic depictions: Should have an Additional required Content Label besides just the generic "Sexual Themes".

It seems that the artistic policy will be misused by users posting artistic nudity for non-artistic purposes.

Artistically Nude content has merits and value to the art communities but is shocking for many users when full nudity is shown without specific warning and without prior context, and should be considered distinct from content which merely contains discussions or Sexual Themes, etc.

I suggest that a technical level streams with this label should be…

  14. As a streamer and Twitch viewer, I use this platform daily. I personally do not have much opinion on the updated approach regarding Twitch's policies on sexual content and classification labels, and it may benefit some. However, I believe there has been a major oversight when rolling out these changes.

I am aware that streams marked with the Sexual Themes tag will not be displayed on the home page (logical enough), yet they still show up in other categories. The preview thumbnails even showcasing full nudity (and some potential rule breaks surpassing just "artistic nudity"), while I am just trying…

  15. Content tagged with “sexual themes” should be in an entirely separate category. I absolutely and unequivocally do not consent to being shown what are essentially h*ntai thumbnails when I’m trying to scroll through and see artists, no matter how artfully it is depicted.

Separate the content into a new category called “nsfw art” or something similar.

  16. Imagine this scenario. You are a user and have seen and accepted all content classification labels warnings. You can navigate Twitch and can watch any content without any warning (this is fine).

Now imagine you are streaming live and navigate Twitch to see what other people are doing. You click on a unassuming stream that has labels, you are not aware of this and you do not have some/all labels that they do, now you are technically in danger of breaking ToS since you are capable of accidentally showing content that could only be streamed under some labels.

    I propose…

  18. These aspects of the guidelines seem incongruent with the interests of a younger audience, potentially exposing them to content that may not be suitable for their age group.

Examples of their recent changes to their guidelines permit what they call "artistic nudity", poledancing, and twerking. On top of this, the guidelines effectively state that there is no age restriction (i.e. 18+).

I find this blatant disregard for child safety on the internet incredibly disturbing, and given Twitch has had controversies in the past regarding sexual misconduct, they choose to update their guidelines to include it instead of taking action against…

  19. Twitch recently changed their content policy to allow more leniency around sexual content. Given the rampant child exploitation issues that have plagued Twitch for years, combined with the fact that Twitch allows children as young as 13 years old to stream on the platform, there is a serious concern that these changes could give child predators additional opportunities for harm.

Particularly concerning is that Twitch has not clarified in its content policy that the new sexual guidelines (or the old ones, for that matter), apply only to adult users of the platform. For example, Twitch indicates that sexual themes such…

  20. Sorry but that was literally the stupidest TOS change you’ve made to date. I don’t want freaking **** on my twitch app and twitch should not be a site that hosts ****. And the fact that you’re well aware of how many minors use your app yet you still decided to allow sexual content is absolutely disgusting. And don’t try to use the “Well we’ll label it as sensitive content so kids don’t access it” excuse. Unless you have a valid way of verifying age, kids CAN and WILL easily bypass these warning and watch these sexual streams. This was…
