DMCA Management Tool
With the wave of mass-deletion we have found that the methods for reviewing DMCA claims and taking appropriate action has been like trying to change a light bulb with no hands.
I propose:
Since all deleted content is held in archives, it should become viewable to only the streamer who can selectively re-publish content that does not have DMCA strikes. Furthermore, they can take action to mute content, appeal or delete the content totally.
Any content with a DMCA strike goes into the "hidden" directory that the creator can access. They will then have some options for how to handle…

Users randomly banned without ever being banned
There is a bug I've seen a few dozen times where a user will be banned in a channel without ever having talked in it or, more importantly, without a record of a ban occurring from any moderators. These bans are always on 7/25/2019, at 4:39 PM, and are often done by someone who wasn't a moderator of the channel at the time. Unbanning these users works as normal, but they need to request an unban or we can't fix anything - meaning we have no idea how widespread this issue is.

We need more of a strict change in the Community Guidelines for "Sexually Suggestive Content".
I'm a streamer on this platform, and have been for quite a few years. I would like to talk about some issues that I have with the new code of conduct of community guidelines if you would give me the chance, and that would be the dress code here on twitch.
Twitch is a platform for all who wish to voice their opinions, play games, or provide any sort of entertainment, and I'm all for supporting that. However, there is an on-going problem that I am noticing every day, and it's getting worse. I am a female streamer on twitch.…

Subscribers safety
Allow subscribers to Block from their view, conversations with Mods in all environments if the Mod has continued to be aggressive & abusive. Subscribers should not be subjected to bullying. As a subscriber, some channels are not safe zones because the Mod is “security” for Streamer and not an agent of a safe healthy community. I have unsubscribed to these channels in an effort to protect my peace. I have requested Mod to refrain from messaging or attempting to communicate as it is always negative & toxic. Please consider allowing subscribers/customers to have more control over their engagement.

Muting is impacting musicians performing works in the public domain
I had a stream of myself playing piano auto-muted due to an erroneous copyright issue. I was performing Mozart's Sonata in C Major and Mozart's Fantasia in D Minor, and the copyright conflict was for other artists' rightfully copyrighted performances, not for the piece in question that I was performing.
I'm betting that the auto-mute algorithm could be smart enough to know when somebody is performing a piece vs playing from a recording.
Until this is fixed, this feature will disproportionately affect musicians using Twitch to perform works that are in the public domain.

Collaborate to form an industry trade group and licensing collective
Twitch has become a lifeline for many streamers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular club and mobile DJs whose only source of income has been cut off in recent months. Therefore, it is essential that streaming services like Twitch remain a viable outlet for music users, while providing fair compensation to songwriters, recording artists, and record labels.
Unfortunately, U.S. copyright law is still vastly out of touch within the marketplace for independent DJs, many of whom make little or no income from their online broadcasts. This certainly presents a unique challenge in the case of Twitch. DJs either run…

Appeals process for DMCA strikes and more consistency regarding reprecussions
Hi,
My ideas are as follows and some probably already mentioned.
Firstly - I do acknowledge that playing copyrighted music is a risk taken on when it is played, whether it's in-game or nightbot/itunes/spotify or other media player.
In the past, VODs were muted with a red bar on the bottom of VODs to show where copyright-flagged audio was detected.
I would advise going back to this and adding some sort of mouse-over tag so we can see what track/s were flagged and by whom so that it can be contested if necessary to ensure no abuse of the DMCA…15 votes -

this is in regards to the current followbotting issue
Since the twitch follow botting has become such a pain , what if we add a simple accept/reject follow request for users who join in and wanna follow? Like on Instagram. This would massively stop the follow botting . And a UI menu for the streamer/ mods to bulk select a list of users to allow or reject which has been implemented for redeem requests already (like a check all and accept/reject) .

Transparency and consistency with penalties, as well as an open source of communication
Over a year ago at Twitchcon 2019, twitch discussed and spoke about how when people are suspended or banned, that they would put in methods, procedures and other resources so that if someone did indeed get suspended from twitch, then they would be informed of their misdoings that led to them being punished.
Its been over a year, and while we are living in the 'rona era, that still doesn't excused that even before it existed, there was barely any signs that any of these were put into place. The only thing we got was a council that had controversy…

start enforcing community guidelines and create a healthy community.
Streamers are constantly streaming sexually explicit content under the guise of exercise, pool activities and cosplay. I was under the impression that Twitch was a platform for entertainers who wanted to create unique communities, not another typical platform for wh**es to exploit underage and easily influenced boys by wearing thongs and stretching. there are platforms for this kind of content, i dont believe twitch needs to succumb to this wave of exploitation like that. On everyone's suggested streams are always 3+ mostly naked women bending over for attention. lets be better than this. Update our guidelines and enforce them. they…

It's the copyright holders who are wrong.
The fact that copyright holders are sending DMCA strikes for people who are listening to music during their stream is absurd. It's commercially absurd. It's ethically absurd and its practically absurd.
First of all the behaviour by publishers is completely against their own interests and is completely ignorant of how people consume content on the internet. This isn't surprising given that these industries are essentially dominated by boomer dinosaurs who used to sell us CDs at 30 dollars a pop (30 dollars in the 90s).
Now we can access any song we want with a click of a button. Most…

Chat filter that bans new accounts
Please make a chat filter which allows you to ban users with brand new accounts or accounts that are X days/hours/weeks old (give the streamer a choice.) It will prevent people from harassing streamers who just make new accounts after they've been banned and continue to harass.

Copyright on games even though Producer/ Director says its fine.
I was wondering why is DMCA still being used when the director of the game say that it is fine to stream the content along with the music that is being used. It still doesn't click at all? Example is Tales of Arise when it introduced the opening of the game. https://www.dualshockers.com/tales-of-arise-streaming-guidelines-will-be-supportive-of-content-creators/
