How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.

  1. Being able to personalize moderator and VIP badges could be a great addition to give originality to the channels and with the logos related to their channel.

  2. Currently users can be given the role of either Editor or Moderator. These roles either give too much permission (editor role), too little permission (moderator) or don't provide permission for certain things at all.

I would propose updated roles (including new ones) that would give streamers more freedom and ease in choosing people in helping them manage their channel.

    New roles:

    • Stream Manager/Admin: same as current Editor permissions (replace current Editor role - rename)

    • Editor: upload videos, download past VODs, reviewing, searching, sorting, and deleting (including mass deleting) clips, setting channel clipping permissions, ability to add markers and all the…

  3. The dashboard when Live, should have a transitions option to switch the screen from your live gameplay, to a simple be right back page or a stream starting soon page .twitch already has a section where when you go offline it will pop up on the viewers page .why not add this feature right to the dashboard ,I use the dashboard feature on my laptop to keep up with my chats it would be the easiest transition there. Keep in mind I stream on console and lack the OBS features that are offered with streaming on pc.

  4. I hit affiliate and was taking off, but then life happened and now I can't stream as much (many friends in the same boat). We want to be able to stream when we can, without the added pressure of people subbing or gifting subs. When people pay to see our content for a whole month, and we don't know when we're streaming again next, it makes us feel obligated to stream more.

Receiving bits, having channel points, and having emotes is still something that would be nice to keep, but at least letting us turn off subs as we please…

  6. We have added in the ability to configure and manage Alerts directly within your Creator Dashboard here on Twitch. You can use them in tandem with the alerts you love and already have set up with your third-party broadcasting software; however, we've expanded our system to offer not just classic alerts like subs, follows and cheering, but also Alerts for hype trains, raids, goals, and charity. On top of this, we've added brand new features like Interactive Resubs, which can be tailored to provide different visual and audio options for users to pick when sharing their resub anniversary message. We've…

We're still welcoming feedback on Alerts, but wanted to drop by to let those of you know who had suggested that channel point integration be available for Alerts - it is now complete! Alerts for channel points are available. Check out our blog for some additional information and updates for Alerts.

Please continue to consider how else can we improve alerts! Thank you for your feedback.

  7. Could there be an implementation of notifications when threshold of $100 is reached to allow Twitch Affiliates the ability to see when / around when they would receive their sub and bit money made?

  8. I know you guys have been "working" on this, but the views not counting for small streamers is crippling. I'm currently trying to get Affiliate status and it feels like every single time I start making progress, your servers/algorithms ***** me over and knock me back down again. I have friends that watch regularly and it had been counting their views... now I'm about to breach 2.2 views and because the system is not counting their views, I'm going to get knocked back down below 2.1 again. It's very frustrating that your system isn't more reliable than this. I love…

  9. Affiliates and Partners should have access to a clear description of how much they have earned within a payment period (not up until the current date) . As it is, the payout portal only lists if you have hit the threshold for payout ("$100+") and does not clearly state how much will be paid out to the streamer. RE: "The revenue dashboard on the Channel Analytics page is an estimate and not a final settlement for payout": there should be a final settlement statement before payouts are made. Creators deserve clear insights into their earnings, and not estimates and random…

  11. Pretty self explanatory - on the dashboard for a user, where it displays "Currently hosting X", include a timer for how long the current host has been on. Apart from helping to not exceed the limit of three hosts per half hour, it would be useful for me to know how long a channel has been hosted, to determine whether or not to choose a new channel to host. Thanks!

  12. Bring back Views from Channels & Views from Outside Twitch in Stream Summary. As a smaller streamer, these were really helpful to understand where my views were coming from. They have recently been removed stating: "A detailed breakdown will be available once there are more views."

  13. As an editor, I want a tool to mute audio portions on VODs & still let them expire over time.
It would be fantastic if I could go back to VODs and mute small portions for privacy if someone slips on a real name or too specific personal information or someone on their voice chat says something inappropriate that violates the rules.
I don't want to highlight the entire video all around it in different portions to save it & lose visual content.
It's an epic pain to have to download the entire VOD, mute it in my own software,…

  15. Maybe a idea to give people with the editor role more permissions in a Twitch channel? For example edit emotes, change pannels, change banner etc. So a editor can support the streamer by changing things like that. Or make a different role for that. Because as a designer i always need to send the designs to the streamer and alot of streamers are busy with other stuff like there community etc.

  16. Hello Twitch team.
This is Jake Song from the PRISM Live Studio team.
    * https://prismlive.com/
    * https://medium.com/prismlivestudio/

The PRISM Live Studio app is an active application for live streaming to Twitch. Thousands of Twitch live streams are already being created every day through the PRISM apps.

Our app is available on Android, iOS and Windows platforms. In particular, our mobile app is one of the three most used applications in the world.

In addition, it provides various functions for IRL and gaming live streaming, which is favored by many streamers. Needless to say, new features are constantly being added.

    Unfortunately,…

  17. After completing Path to Partner and applying, there should be an easy way to know and track where you are in the process. Something on the Twitch Partner Application page to show the process and a timeline.

Application Submitted > Forwarded to Reviewer > Under Review > Response Emailed

It can be really frustrating submitting your application, waiting months with no communication, and no one to talk to about or knowing where you are in the process. A simple graphic showing that your application is moving through the process would help alleviate the frustration.

  18. A while back the main graph on Channel Analytics changed to show statistics based on the day instead of the stream. This means that if you stream past midnight, you get two bars, one for the statistics before midnight, the other for the statistics after midnight.

Statistics on Twitch are almost only relevant per stream, not day, and this change has made it a much less helpful representation.

    Please change this back!

  19. I have idea to create rating system for acquired achievements that can promote new streamers with new potential viewers and followers. With each level each streamer have oppotunity to upgrade their auditory. That can motivate new streamers for making more and more streams more often then now)

  20. Every recent major change that has been push edout to content creators have been usually met with an immensity of upset or annoyance for the sake of that we as content creators have to deal with these changes being enforced on us without any kind of prior opportunity to try things out, to give feedback on if these changes would be beneficial to us as content creator.

The most recent example being the Unban Request manager. This is absolute not needed for a majority of streamers because when someone is banned, it's a permanent situation. Having to receive an unban…
