  1. Right now the analytics page just shows revenue gained from ads. This doesn't paint the entire picture and it's leading streamers to think that bias is occurring in their ad offers. This can be fixed by displaying ad impressions, declined impressions, fill rate, ad pool size for our category, and CPM on the analytics page. Descriptions for each should also be included to explain these mechanics.

We're offered 55% of ad revenue but have no way to determine what that number is or how it is calculated. This leads to distrust in Twitch and the ads system. Giving streamers a…

  2. I've been using the alert system for about a week now on my partnered channel and I've run into a number of serious bugs with it. Many of these stop use of the alerting system entirely or make it cumbersome to use. Trying to go through the ticketing system directed me here. Because of these issues I cannot use the alert system until they are resolved as it breaks the stream entirely.

Skip Alert randomly stops functioning for hours at a time. - There doesn't seem to be a reason for this and it cannot be fixed on the users…

  3. Arcade gamers/streamers, collectors and players (community in general) currently do not have a dedicated category. There are a large number of notable video arcade hardware / PCB (also short for game boards) streamers that mainly stream under the category "Retro", "STG", etc and append the tag “Arcade” to differentiate from mainly console based retro streams.

While a large majority of video arcade games are retro in nature, and similar titles and ports exists in the home console space, there are quite a few major differences, challenges and nuances in the realm of capturing video arcade game releases and their discrete…

  4. Right now on the Twitch Analytics Dashboard, it only shows how many followers you have gained in the last 30 days however it does not take into account people who unfollow during the same time period. This makes the number it displays misleading as you don't know how many followers the channel has grown by in the last 30 days only how much you have gained.

I would love to be able to see the Net Growth/Loss for the channel as well as the total unfollows in the last 30 days.

  5. The power-ups system that has been added does not take into consideration how it currently might disrupt streams. The inability to opt-out of these removes autonomy from the streamer for the sole effort of selling bits. Things like highlighted messages and giant emotes can easily derail chat, and the inclusion of full screen effects is distracting at best. The effects I feature on my stream are curated by me, implemented by me, and contain content I have fully approved of and configured.

While I understand some people might like this idea, I can't say I see the benefit other than…

  6. We have added in the ability to configure and manage Alerts directly within your Creator Dashboard here on Twitch. You can use them in tandem with the alerts you love and already have set up with your third-party broadcasting software; however, we've expanded our system to offer not just classic alerts like subs, follows and cheering, but also Alerts for hype trains, raids, goals, and charity. On top of this, we've added brand new features like Interactive Resubs, which can be tailored to provide different visual and audio options for users to pick when sharing their resub anniversary message. We've…

    Relevant Update  ·  Ana responded

    Hi again all,

We have another update regarding Twitch’s Alerts. Now, you can set up integrations with Streamlabs, Throne, Crowd Control, and StreamElements, to bring select third-party events they provide to your Activity Feed to help you recognize all the additional ways your community supports you (such as through tipping, merch purchases, etc.).

Help highlight your community’s contributions and celebrate them all in one place, with your own flair by tapping into the customization options for your Alerts in the Creator Dashboard.

This is just the beginning! We'd love to hear what other third party streaming tools you'd like deeper Twitch integrations with, please share them with us via link.twitch.tv/UVAlerts or http://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/924712/suggestions/47507177.

  7. Sometimes when live your pc will have to restart for some game's anti-cheats but you don't want to restart your stream or send out a new notification or create a new vod.

It would be really cool to be able to have a button on the dashboard to manually toggle disconnect protection while you restart pc/obs or swap to a different streaming device.

  8. I genuinely believe this should be a setting open to Affiliates as well, Affiliates also bring in that 50/50 split from subs and are spending time/resources/money into getting emotes done for them that it shouldn't be locked.

The auto-generated prefixs are always weird or off and add in some cases add random numbers that we can't change.

If emotes are a feature available to Partners AND Affiliates, why lock some settings to just the former? It doesn't make any sense.

  9. So, ads are the same for everyone regardless of their role (non-subscribers).

The streamer should have a toggleable option to enable less intrusive ads for moderators: Ads that show as either a constant banner ad or something similar to make up for some/any potential lost revenue vs traditional ads.

That way mods can remain engaged and able to intervene quickly to a situation if needed. Intrusive ads basically deafen and partially blind the mods until they're over. I think this could be handled better.

  10. Recently, the alerts through Twitch's built-in function haven't been working for me when the Text to Speech feature is enabled. Once the feature is disabled, the alerts come through again. With third-party alerts, it works without any issues.

  11. Make the Artist Attribution process easier with an artist history list made from previously attributed artist(s) that particular streamer has assigned, so they don't have to keep re-typing a username into the search field for each & every single emote. This can be tedious with a batch upload of new, revamped & seasonal emote art.

Design it so you click a name and go from a drop down menu. The search field should only be needed to find a new artists' username. We need to lower the threshold of effort to give artists the credit they deserve.

  12. With the introduction of the new Powerups feature, it'd be nice to have the ability to configure alert variants for them. For example, if a user sends a message effect powerup, I'd love to trigger an alert that would TTS their message.

This could possibly open up all sorts of interesting possibilities for alerts related to the new powerups.

  13. I am unable to create a new custom channel point reward for My Twitch.

When creating the channel point reward a red error message is being displayed "Error saving reward. Please try again". This is located under the reward name box.

I have refreshed the web page and tried signing out and back into my account with no change to the issue.

How do I fix the bug I am having?

    Thank you in advance. :)

  14. I don't know exactly when it started, but one day the alerts suddenly stopped working.
I've tried recreating the OBS source, recreating the alert, and re-linking with OBS, but I still haven't received a test alert.

By the time I stopped working, there were no updates to OBS.
I had missed notifications for a few days, and when I was wondering why, I realized that the notifications were not working.

There is no place to send help regarding the alert, so if anyone has experienced a similar problem and managed to solve it, please let me know what you did.

  15. Please add the ability to have a random alert play if multiple alerts match the parameters. For instance, setting up 3 variants for follow alerts, and a random one of those will play.
Currently variants are listed in priority order, so only the top one will ever play.

  19. Hi. I'm trying to use music from the famous YouTube channel NoCopyRightSounds in my alerts but I can't use it for copyright reasons. Since the music made on the channel is copyright-free, I think we should change it. What do you think?

  20. Twitch is on a streak of great creator-centric changes right now. I'd like to propose another:

Both Twitch AND Twitch streamers miss out on 100% of the revenue from ads that are NOT being run. So let's make ALL mid-roll ads pay the 55% revenue split to creators, regardless of use of the auto-scheduler. I feel this would likely motivate Ads Manager non-users (like myself) to run more ads more often. It would nearly double the ad earnings to these creators AND still keep ads entirely on-demand (like running them during food runs, bathroom breaks, etc.) to continue having uninterrupted…
