1. Do not impliment the AI auto clip tool

   Twitch has implemented a sign up for an AI alpha auto clip tool. This is very unethical in many ways to not just content creation but also to things outside content creation.

   I ask twitch to remove this sign up and not engage in any use of AI when it comes to content creation.

   Facts about AI usage

   • Google’s single Iowa data center alone consumed 1 billion gallons of water in 2024. The first way AI uses water is for cooling. Data centers run thousands of powerful computers around the clock. As these machines crunch numbers and manage data, they generate a lot of heat.

   To keep everything running smoothly, water is often used in cooling systems. This can mean circulating water through pipes to absorb heat or using evaporative cooling towers that release warm air.

   • Ai is trained to use already created content for training with out user consent. This has already been happening on social media. Twitch's AI clip tool ''claims'' they will not use user generated clips with out consent for training to assume what constitutes as high engagement moments for clip creation.

     • AI data centers now generate 2.5–3.7% of global greenhouse gas emissions, officially surpassing the aviation industry’s 2% contribution while growing 15% annually.

   It is very important that people speak up and say no to the AI clip tool especially partners and ambassadors as this tool is very harmful to the community.

   Turning it off as an option is not enough.

2. Disable AI Stream Summary

   Give creators the ability to disable AI Stream Summaries from their streams. Not every creator wants to be associated with AI, especially considering the ethical ramifications of using it. Users may associate AI with creators when they may very much be morally opposed to its use. Streamers should be allowed to opt out of this feature as it's very clearly a controversial one.

3. Twitch basically broken - Several issues due to GraphQL - Buying Bits, notifications, drops, scrolling, channel points etc

   There are currently several issues, effectively breaking Twitch for a lot of users - apparently because of overfitting security policies.

   It all started around April 1st 2026 and still persists unchanged today, May 13th 2026.

   Everything leads back to a common symptom, which is probably also the cause of a lot of other bug reports here on Uservoice:

   GraphQL breaks after a certain amount of time, and then it just throws "failed integrity checks" all over the board.
   Not just in Firefox but reportedly also in Chrome.

   • Buying Bits and Subs does not work (final PayPal confirmation button does not complete the purchase)

   • Notifications area doesn't load and only shows an infinite loading circle

   • The green channel points treasure down in the chat does not give the +50 points or how many that is - it just turns red after clicking it.

   • I cannot follow any new channels. Pressing the "Follow" button changes it to a heart icon, then after 1 second it changes back

   • Under Drops & Rewards > Inventory, I cannot redeem any drops that met their watch time requirement

   • "All Campaigns" panel shows "There are no Drops campaigns currently" - today the panel is even completely empty

   Whenever trying any of these actions, the dev console (F12) shows a "[GraphQL] ... failed integrity check" error.

4. Do not implement face-scan age verification

   Face-scan age verification is a thin veneer for more totalitarian governments of the world to control and censor media. This is every bit about protecting users as it is protecting Twitch, for two very important reasons.

   First and foremost, other companies that have implemented face-scan age verification have suffered devastating data leaks that resulted in the pictures of those who consented to the face scanning ending up in the hands of parties to whom those that let their face get scanned were not given consent. Many of those same companies also had other sensitive information, such as home addresses and credit card information, leaked, and should something like this happen to Twitch, the damage to the site's reputation would be devastating.

   Secondly, showing a willingness to acquiesce to a totalitarian government's censorship policies is a slippery slope wherein the government can decide what kinds of content are acceptable, which would lead to those governments banning certain games - or worse still, certain creators and streamers who may be sharing content or opinions that run contrary to that government's interests - from being allowed to stream. This, too, would cause irreparable harm to Twitch's reputation.

5. Allow us to pin announcements to the top of chat

   Please allow us to pin an announcement to the top of the chat so it stays highlighted and in view, instead of having to type the same thing as a normal chat message and pin that instead.

   It doesn't even necessarily have to keep the same formatting as the announcement messages that show up in chat, but just taking that message and putting it as a pin would be very helpful. I like the special formatting of the announcement feature but hardly ever use it because they can be so short lived. If I want it to stay visible I have to type it again as a normal message so it can be pinned, which feels sort of strange.

6. Future stream schedule displays a misleading timezone offset around DST transitions

   Problem

   Around daylight saving time transitions, Twitch's schedule interface appears to display the current timezone offset for future scheduled streams, rather than the offset applicable to the event's date.

   For example, on 24 October 2026, Twitch displayed GMT+2 for scheduled streams, including events taking place after the European clocks changed. On 25 October, the displayed offset changed to GMT+1.

   This is confusing because it makes correctly scheduled events appear to be an hour earlier or later than intended. In my case, I manually adjusted a couple of events because I believed Twitch had scheduled them at the wrong local time.

   Expected behaviour

   The schedule should display each event's local time and the correct timezone abbreviation or UTC offset for that event's date, accounting for daylight saving time transitions.

   Actual behaviour

   The displayed timezone offset appeared to follow the current date, even for future events on the other side of a daylight saving time transition.

   Suggested improvement

   Use the event's scheduled timestamp and the applicable timezone rules for its date when displaying its local time and timezone offset.

   This would make it easier for streamers to verify their schedules and help prevent accidental one-hour scheduling errors around clock changes.

   Dear Twitch Product Development Team,

   I would like to propose a new feature that could significantly improve the viewing experience on Twitch: Independent Audio Volume Control for Game Sound and Streamer Voice.

   1. Concept

   Currently, Twitch viewers receive game audio and streamer commentary as a single mixed audio stream. This means viewers cannot independently adjust the volume of the game and the streamer's voice.

   For example, some viewers may prefer louder game audio for immersion, while others may want clearer commentary with quieter background audio.

   I propose allowing viewers to adjust these two audio sources independently through simple volume sliders integrated directly into the Twitch video player.

   Example viewer controls:
   - Game Audio: 30%
   - Streamer Voice: 90%

   Each viewer could customize their own audio balance without affecting the streamer's original broadcast or other viewers.

   2. Proposed Technical Approach

   One possible implementation would use the existing stereo audio infrastructure.

   For example:

   • Left Audio Channel: Game Audio
   • Right Audio Channel: Streamer Voice

   OBS Studio or another broadcasting application could assign these audio sources to separate channels before transmission.

   Twitch would receive the audio through its existing streaming infrastructure.

   The Twitch player could then process the channels independently, apply viewer-selected volume levels, and remix both sources into a balanced stereo output.

   This approach could potentially avoid requiring separate external audio relay servers or additional streaming connections.

   I have also explored a proof-of-concept architecture combining OBS audio routing with browser-side audio processing.

   However, native integration into the Twitch player would be necessary to make this feature accessible to all viewers, including those using mobile devices and the official Twitch applications.

   The left/right channel approach is one possible implementation, rather than a requirement. A native multi-track solution could provide greater flexibility while preserving the original stereo sound of games.

   3. Benefits for Viewers

   Personalized Audio Experience

   Every viewer has different audio preferences. Independent volume controls would allow viewers to customize the balance between game audio and commentary.

   Improved Accessibility

   Viewers who have difficulty hearing speech could increase the streamer's voice volume without increasing game sounds.

   Better Listening Experience

   Viewers using headphones, smartphones, televisions, or different speaker systems could optimize their listening experience.

   Greater Immersion

   Some viewers prefer to focus on gameplay sounds, while others are primarily interested in the streamer's commentary. This feature would support both preferences.

   4. Benefits for Streamers

   Streamers would no longer need to find a single audio balance that satisfies every viewer.

   The feature could be optional, allowing streamers to enable independent audio controls when their broadcasting software supports the necessary audio routing.

   It could also reduce complaints about game audio being too loud or streamer commentary being too quiet.

   5. Benefits for Twitch

   I believe this feature could become a valuable improvement to Twitch's streaming platform.

   Potential advantages include:

   • Differentiating Twitch from competing streaming platforms.
   • Improving viewer satisfaction and accessibility.
   • Providing a more personalized livestream experience.
   • Encouraging broadcasting software developers to adopt compatible audio standards.
   • Creating opportunities for further improvements in interactive streaming technology.

   6. Suggested Implementation

   Ideally, Twitch could introduce this capability as a native player feature, supported across desktop browsers, mobile applications, and other compatible devices.

   For streams that do not support independent audio channels, the player would continue operating normally.

   For compatible streams, viewers would see separate volume controls for game audio and streamer commentary.

   Backward compatibility should be maintained so that viewers using older or unsupported clients can still hear a correctly balanced audio mix.

   7. Closing Thoughts

   Twitch has consistently advanced the interactive livestreaming experience. I believe viewer-controlled audio mixing could represent another meaningful step forward.

   The concept is relatively simple from a user's perspective, yet it could substantially improve how people experience live content.

   I would greatly appreciate it if the Twitch development team would consider evaluating this idea as a potential future platform feature.

   I would also welcome the opportunity to share further technical details or discuss the proof-of-concept approach.

    Seit einiger Zeit, wenn ich Clips gemacht habe und die über euch abrufe, ruckeln diese sehr stark, das VOD oder Stream läuft flüssig, auch wenn ich im nachhinein ein Clip mache, ruckelt dieser bei abspielen... BITTE prüfen und ggf abstellen, so kann ich keine Zuschauer ziehen....

12. Allow Saving Clips When Copyrighted Audio Is Detected, With Options to Mute Audio and Add Subtitles

    I would like to suggest a way to preserve memorable moments from streams when copyrighted audio prevents a Clip from being created or kept.
    Sometimes the most important part of a Clip is the visual moment: a streamer’s reaction, a funny situation, or an impressive gameplay moment. Losing the entire Clip because of background music means losing that moment, even when the audio is not essential.
    My suggestion is to add a “Mute Audio and Save Clip” option. If copyrighted audio is detected, users could choose to remove all audio from the published Clip and keep the video, provided the video itself complies with Twitch’s rules.

    Here is how the feature could work:

    • When copyrighted audio is detected during Clip creation, offer an option to save the Clip without sound rather than simply preventing it from being saved.

    • Allow users to add subtitles or text captions over the video so viewers can understand the streamer’s words or the context of the moment without hearing the audio.

    The purpose is not to bypass copyright restrictions or restore protected music. It is to offer an alternative that removes the problematic audio while preserving an otherwise acceptable visual moment. Subtitles would be used for the streamer’s speech or context, not to reproduce copyrighted song lyrics.

13. Affiliate Account Detail bug on Agreement

    To Become Affiliate:

    1 - Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and it was done after submitting support ticket due to the phone number error.

    2 - Complete Your Account Detail, I could not because at Monetized Streamer Agreement it said that I have to agree and sign Parent Consent ...... wait what I am 47 years old .... what are you talking about?????

    And here we go for another Twitch Support turn-on-ride again, two days have passed and STILL WAITING !!!!

    Why????????

    Knowing that the phone number was already verified a long time ago.

    Twitch Support has been contacted via email and still no response !

    This Error message has to be more clear and concise.

    The Twitch support could not be contacted via Live Chat because I am not yet Affiliate, and I am not yet Affiliate because the 2FA is not yet activated. lol

    Yeh Yeh the support chat live is only for the VIP (Affiliate and Partners) not for me, the one who is looking to grow up on Twitch.

17. Twitch alerts randomly not playing July 2026

    Twitch in built alerts randomly do not work.

    All my settings are correct and 'send test alert' works 100% of the time on all of my scenes in OBS.

    Sometimes people will raid/sub/gift/follow and the alert will play. Sometimes it won't. Feels awful when I get a big raid or gift and the alert just fails to play and then next raid or gift it does work. Please fix this it's been like this for months.

18. Leaderboard Rotation Toggle

    Recently in the past month or so, my (and many others') leaderboards have started to automatically rotate. I find this very distracting and more harmful than helpful while streaming. My peripheral vision will pick up on something changing, causing me to have to repetitively confirm whether that change was a chat message, event, or something else only to find out it was the leaderboard rotating again.
    Perhaps this is useful to some, which is why I would appreciate a toggle for this. Being forced to deal with this distraction takes away from the focus needed to stream. It also makes me want to disable the leaderboard entirely.

19. Custom Emote Loadouts

    As a variety creator I tend to find it difficult to swap my emotes up for the games that I am playing. I think it would be extremely beneficial to other creators as well to have loadouts you can create with emotes that have already been accepted and approved. For Example: If I am streaming Pokémon, I would like to use my Pokémon themed emotes and when I stream resident Evil I would like there to be an option to easily switch to a preset of emotes that I have set rather than assigning each one to a slot.

20. Neue Follower werden nicht im Aktivitätsfeed angezeigt

    Neue Follower werden nicht im Aktivitätsfeed angezeigt. Ebenfalls fiel mir auf, dass teilweise nur die Follower, die über Smartphone oder Tablett neu folgen, nicht im Aktivitätsfeed angezeigt werden. Das sollte schnell behoben werden!
    Für uns kleine Streamer ist es sehr wichtig den neuen Followern die Freude und den Dank zeigen zu können.
