Allow Head Mods / Lead Mods to grant and remove VIP status (optional permission)
Currently, only the broadcaster can use /vip and /unvip.
Please add an optional permission for Head Mods / Lead Mods to grant and remove VIP status in their channel.
This would be useful for larger communities where the broadcaster is not always available. A Head Mod can already manage the moderation team and handle many channel-related tasks, but they still cannot manage VIPs.
Ideally, this should be an opt-in permission in the Creator Dashboard, for example:
“Allow Head Mods to grant VIP status”
“Allow Head Mods to remove VIP status”
Regular moderators should not receive this permission by default. It should remain limited to Head Mods and be controlled by the broadcaster.
Another moderator can be promoted to Head Mod, but VIP management is still restricted to the broadcaster. This creates an unnecessary gap in channel management, especially for channels with an active moderation team.
Example use case: During a stream, a loyal community member deserves VIP as a reward, but the broadcaster is busy. A trusted Head Mod could handle it immediately without the broadcaster needing to interrupt what they are doing.
