Dedicated Arcade Category Arcade gamers/streamers, collectors and players (community in general) currently do not have a dedicated category. There are a large number of notable video arcade hardware / PCB (also short for game boards) streamers that mainly stream under the category "Retro", "STG", etc and append the tag “Arcade” to differentiate from mainly console based retro streams.
While a large majority of video arcade games are retro in nature, and similar titles and ports exists in the home console space, there are quite a few major differences, challenges and nuances in the realm of capturing video arcade game releases and their discrete…

Recommendation Nightmare I am a Twitch user from Ukraine. I do not want to watch streams in russian, and I do not want to see russian-speaking authors in my recommendations. Every day, I go to the “recommendations” section, scroll to the bottom of the page several times to make the list as large as possible. Then, I start clicking on the three dots next to each russian-speaking stream and select “not interested.”
Do you think this helps? Not only do other russian-speaking streamers appear in the recommendations, but those I have already marked as “not interested” periodically return.
It feels like I…

watch streak I'd love to be able to opt in to having the watch streaks enabled in my channel to help increase viewer engagement! Will the watch streaks be available to the channels that didn't get randomly chosen to have them enabled in the near future? I'm sure there are plenty of streamers who didn't get chosen who would love to have that feature in their channel, and probably some who were chosen who might prefer to opt out if they are unable to do so

raid recommendations that have gone live within the last hour to 30 mins you know what I would like as a streamer? I want raid recommendations that have gone live within the last hour to 30 mins in similar games when i open up my raid options, So i can appropriately network with brand new communities. Also my whole follow list to actually appear , I only ever get like 4 of them when i have like 9 online.

Clips Today Youtube upped their length of shorts to be up to 180 seconds, I would love and I think it would be great for creators to create clips or even upload highlights from the dashboard, this would help creators with reaching new users on other platforms and bring them over to their livestreams

Better Discoverability for All Content Creators Twitch Should Implement A Randomized Reccomendation Algorithm That Gives every creator a equal chance to be pushed and recognized not just the same 10 streams Dominating the platform By Just Sitting There And Streaming Other CReators content With little to no interaction with viewers... Please twitch Be Better For US.

Simulcast rule on merged Chat is logically inconsistent and hurts viewer experience The simulcast rule that prohibits third-party tools which merge chat or activity from other platforms is framed as a way to “ensure the Twitch community is included in the entirety of the experience.” However, this restriction often has the opposite effect.
When off-platform chat influences the stream but cannot be shown, Twitch viewers lose context and experience a more fragmented stream. A merged chat provides equal visibility and a neutral experience, while prohibiting it forces selective relaying, delay, or omission of viewer interactions.
This creates a contradiction: Twitch viewers are meant to be fully included, yet are intentionally prevented from…

Option to 100% shut off all ads to improve the streaming experience Imagine the greatness we could all achieve if Twitch allowed an option to completely remove all and any adds from someone's stream. All around great improvement and a better experience for both the streamer and the viewer. Viewers didn't see the great action that was happening in game because it was cut off by an add well, not anymore.

Bot Identifier Program If Twitch does see this In the Future Could you make or find a Bot Identifier Program, so that people that do get Botted Can either Remove the Bots them Self's or send the Bot Report To y'all to fix the issue Without needing to scan through all Follows, cause a lot of people who were Botted Cant get much engagement in general cause the bots Ruin the Algorithm for them making it also harder for them to be discovered i would know im in a bad spot my self

Bring back the old Raid menu The new Raid menu is absolute garbage. It simply does not work. TWICE now instead of sending my stream to someone I follow, that I have selected, Twitch sends my tream to some total rando who I don't know. There is no option to abort or recall the raid.
Streamers I am following should be the default options, not streamers in totally unrelated categories to what I have been streaming. There should also be an option to show ONLY streamers I follow.
As it is now, raiding is useless and I'm done trying to deal with the "improved" menu.

Trailers for DJ channels! Not being able to upload a channel trailer as a DJ is annoying, especially when your channel page prompts you to create one.
Stream clips are obviously a different thing, and a much larger potential copyright nightmare - let's not open that can of worms. But a trailer? Come on.
Either make it possible to upload silent trailers (kind of Captain Obvious if we're honest), or simply run a copyright check on the audio before the trailer is approved for release. The infrastructure for all of that is in place anyway. What am I missing?
The point is: if your…

consolidate the repeated catagories i would like to recommend something that would probably only pertain to me and people in the same community as me. When selecting a category for what i am streaming (DARTS), there are approximately 20-30 different categories for the same thing.. i believe the divides the community because they don't know where to find you exactly. i believe there is only one real category for Darts and that would be the one that has approximately 13K following that category.

Twitch logo on clips Add the Twitch logo to the edges of your clips just like Tik Tok does so that when clips are posted you can see the logo of twitch and there channel. Make it optional but built into the twitch editor.

Bring more visibility to channel highlights videos. Twitch has for a long time encouraged creating "highlights" from past stream VODs, however these hardly ever get any views at all since they do not appear to be promoted, and they are "buried" in the channel information. It would be useful to have channel stream highlights more visible/accessible to bring them to the forefront when the streamer is not currently live.

VR should be a genre/section Its very difficult to find VR games on twitch, you basically have to search for every game individually and most of the times, there are few players for it (as far as i can see)
It would be better to just gather VR platformers on one genre section, so that its easy to find anyone doing anything in VR, regardless of device/game/app/activity
As a viewer it would be appreciated and i bet it would for creators/gamers as well
Could perhaps aid in making interest in VR higher and give VR gamers more publicity, since they are quite difficult to find…
