A change to Ads when raiding On 07/31/2020 Twitch responded to “If a channel raids another channel the raiders shouldn't be greeted by an ad.” The Comments were close so could not add to it, and the help suggestion was closed too.
Had a situation occur yesterday as I raided into someone stream at the end of mine. Hoping we can address this so try and make it a better experience for the raiders and the streamer that is getting the raiders.

Please disable the Gambling ads I’ve recently started getting Gambling ads, I initially thought that Gambling ads were hidden if you opted out of viewing Gambling content on twitch but apparently not.

ai ads I've noticed that Twitch is playing ai ads now. If these companies have the option to choose channels to play their ads on, we should get the option to choose who plays ads on our channels. I hate ai ads and I know I'm not the only one. Ads are already a problem, adding these stupid ai ads without an option to not have them play on our channel, I'll go somewhere else to stream

A channel subscription across the whole of twitch I would pay for a subscription on twitch where I could watch any streamer, and only get limited ads, where the revenue goes towards the streamer when I am watching that stream. If I switch to another stream I still get limited ads but that revenue then goes to that streamer. There are so many ads now, and I want to watch more streamers, not just one and be revenue locked to that streamer and the amount they stream.

Streamer Banner Ad Toggle My suggestion is pretty simple. Give Streamers the option to decide between having a permanent rotating banner ad on, or fullscreen ads that disrupt the viewer experience. This way Twitch still gets their ad money, without Streamers having to intentionally disrupt their content to prevent tense moments during ad breaks, or viewers joining and having to sit through a variable amount of pre-roll ads, that may drive them away from the platform.

Stop Running Transphobic Ads On Trans People's Channels I'm a trans person, and I keep getting ads on MY channel promoting giving money to someone who despises my existance. Someone using her vast amount of wealth, influence, and power to make us trans people feel unsafe just being alive, and insulting/lying about us online to stir the pot and create a toxic and violent environment for us to exist. The constant gambling ads just make me not want to be on the platform at all. Its very concerning that at least 95% of the ads I see are for gambling and sports betting, especially with the younger audiences of some streamers. Even though the gambling/slots content category is set to ignore for my feed, its almost the only ads I ever see.

feedback Eu entendo que seja normal plataformas passarem anuncios, mas nos ultimos anos, a Twitch ficou absurda na quantidade de anuncio a serem assistido. Hoje eu assisto anuncios a cada 9 ou 10 minutos. Alguns com duração de 1m a 2m e 25 segundos.

Disable PiP for mobile I hate ads but understand their necessity, however when I get an ad I always close the stream. The player-in-player ("PiP" lil pop out stream window) on mobile has been turned off in every way that I can (mobile settings, stream/player settings, twitch settings) but still pops out when I close a stream on mobile. Stop Using Ads for Targetted Hate Every ad break in front of my trans friends lately, almost without fail, includes at least one advert for Harry Potter - A franchise known to support an extremely transphobic author who is actively using her royalties and fame to sway court cases in my country and influence those in others to remove rights from said trans friends. Add incentive - Ads are annoying. 2. Many streamers, barely get any views. 3. My proposed solution is the following.
Incentivize viewers to click a “shuffle “ button within a category on the browse section, i.e. for a game they like, and they’ll get to watch a random stream without ads for streamers who opt in to that program. Stop playing ads that are not in my language There needs to be an option on an account level that lets you directly specify that you only want ads that are in your language. My whole family just started getting ads in Spanish when it never used to happen before, EVER.
I don't speak enough Spanish to actually know what they are saying, so the ad is absolutely useless and I just end up muting it anyway.

Stop Punishing Viewers for Chatting Twitch’s ad system has gotten out of control. Every time I interact with chat—especially when I ask an important question—I’m immediately hit with a wave of ads. It’s obvious Twitch is tracking chat activity to serve more ads because it knows I’m actually watching. That’s manipulative, greedy, and completely kills the experience for non-subscribed viewers.

Reduce Ad ideas for discoverability Delay new ads if a viewer is channel hopping to help with discovery. Space out ads by category to avoid hitting the same viewer with 6 ads in 15 minutes, if they’re browsing. A discovery mode where ads pause while exploring new channels.
A 3–5 minute first visit window with no ads, to let you get hooked before interrupting. If you stay longer, then ads start normally.
Create a dedicated Discover or Random Stream mode that’s ad-free for exploration. Twitch could limit it to, say, 20 minutes per day. Just enough to let people find new streamers without frustration.

Ad volume resets when a new ad loads What causes the situation: Ads load. Currently have only tested it in a situation with several ads back to back.
What I expect to happen: If the stream volume is set low (ex. 20%), the volume of ads will match the volume on the volume slider.
What actually happens: Whenever a new ad loads, it will initially play at 100% volume regardless of where the slider is set. Jiggling the slider will make the ad play at the correct volume setting, but when a new ad loads it defaults back to 100%, still ignoring the slider's actual value until jiggled…
