Better vetting/reporting when it comes to ads that can cause epilepsy As someone with epilepsy I've lost count of the amount of ads that have left me unwell or even outright caused a seizure. The latest pokemon x marshmallow ad is ATROCIOUS for this.
But when it came time to report the ad to twitch I was told there WAS no way to report it outside of the EU, and contacting twitch was confusing ust sent me to user feedback.
There NEEDS to be either better vetting on these ads or a way to report them easily as they are happening, no matter where you are in the world.

Stop Running Transphobic Ads On Trans People's Channels I'm a trans person, and I keep getting ads on MY channel promoting giving money to someone who despises my existance. Someone using her vast amount of wealth, influence, and power to make us trans people feel unsafe just being alive, and insulting/lying about us online to stir the pot and create a toxic and violent environment for us to exist. Stop 18+ Ads from displaying on Streams with the Family Friendly Tag Hey there! I ran into an issue today where some of my viewers are distressed from seeing 18+ Ads for Horror related movies during my stream considering I have the Family Friendly Tag. In this case, the new Insidious Movie trailer has been playing quite often, and quite frankly, it shouldn't play in the first place.
When the Family Friendly tag is enabled it should restricted all 18+ related trailers from being played full stop.

TURN OFF SUBTEMBER ADS I pay for twitch turbo, why is there not an option to turn off ads for subtember? If you sell a product like turbo with no ads, I expect no ads. You’re not exempt from that.

Remove "Live Shopping" Can't remove "Live Shopping". I will NEVER buy anything advertised to me on twitch. I NEVER want to see my side panel filled up with commercial slop channels. Could you just not. Have to use adblockers just to use the ****ing user interface.

Quit suggesting Twitch Partners who I have banned/blocked on my notifications (I;e: Ironmouse, etc) It is very rude of Twitch to push already successful content creators towards struggling unsuccessful content creators in a faux-cultist like experiment to push people to like what everyone else likes be it of forced fervent.
No. I dislike Ironmouse and her affilators. I do NOT WISH to watch their content nor to be part of their overarching community of harassers and rich enablists that force others to do their bidding on their behalf.
Quit suggesting them to me. Period. Suggest similar content creators that are around my size or smaller. That is all.

Pull ads that have nudity I will not be returning to watch twitch streams while the Sydney Sweeny sports betting ad, or any ads with overt sexual overtones and/or naked people, is featured. Oh my God. Disgusting.

Abolish ads altogether, they're not necessary and rude! How about just get rid of ads twitch doesn't need the ad revenue!. Total Non-Ad Revenue: Combining subscriptions and Bits yields roughly $1.18 billion to $1.21 billion per year. Besides the rude ad behavior, you ask the streamer a question, hit enter an ad pop ups when the streamer is answering cutting them off. You never hear the answer unless they are polite enough, or not to busy to repeat themselves, which they shouldn't have to in the first place, it's just ignorant!.

How about stop with the greed and rude ad behavior?... These ads are such a blatant money grab it's just greed.. They'll tell us it's necessary in order to cover costs, but this tells otherwise... Disable "Live shopping" section for twitch turbo subscribers I pay for twitch turbo specifically to avoid being served ads. The "Live Shopping" section is trying to sell stuff, which is not something I go to twitch for, and I haven't seen it show up without the "Sponsored" label below it.
That is an ad. I'm paying $12 a month to get rid of ads; I should not have a section of the sidebar perpetually taken up by an ad.

ADS ARE EAR ******* ME AGAIN. this has been a problem on and off for years and it's on again! yippee! insanely ridiculous that you idiots cannot fix this.
stream is set to the volume i want. an ad starts and is suddenly blasting at 100% volume. check the volume slider, it hasn't moved. i click the volume slider to where it's at and the ad volume returns to normal volume.
this wouldn't be a problem if there weren't 5+ ads in a row and the volume resets ON EVERY SINGLE ONE. fix this **** man, it cannot be that hard.3 votes -

Stream Display Ads are pushing me away from Twitch There is no idea accompanying this. This is absolutely a complaint. Advert "breaks" that can last anything between 15 seconds and THREE AND A HALF MINUTES when a streamer is clearly not in a position to allow for it, does not incentivise me to give the platform my money. It's pushing me away to other platforms that do allow me to skip ads relatively quickly.

Avoid dishonest countdown timers for ads As of recent, when watching streams on twitch, I (as well as my friends) have noticed that, as ads come to an end (~10 seconds remaining), the countdown timer is removed/finished. This misinformation on ad runtime only serves to further the amount of advertisements twitch can push, while taking away from user experience. This deceit is not allowed under eu law, through the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive and the Digital Services Act, which ban misleading advertising and deceptive design.

Useless and annoying ads I have ad tracking with cookies enabled. Still I get ads to buy diapers every three minutes. From amazon AE. I live in Europe and I am single. So why do I get ads to buy diapers form a different country? And why are those ads full screen completely blocking the stream i watch? This is such a bad experience.

Remove in player and chatside ads Ads before stream or during a break is fine. But playing them alongside the stream and alongside chat? No. Get rid of them.
