Too many Ads at once
I was watching a livestream that was literally going to finish in 4-5 min, but instead, I had to endure a 30s ad, 10s ad, 15s ad, 15s ad, 15s ad, 15s ad, 30s ad, 15s ad, 20s ad, and finally a 15s ad. Yup, that's 10 ads in a row totaling 3 min of the end of a livestream!
A lot is said and can be missed in a short span of 30s, let alone 3 min!!!
Absolutely unacceptable!
Yes, money has to be made. But at what detriment to the viewers experience?!
SURPRISING the viewers with a sudden pop up block of ads makes the viewer
annoyed and angry. And then blocking the stream on top of that for such a long period of time makes the viewer ABSOLUTELY p$$d off!!!
At least if the streamer could choose when to show ads and say "I'll be back after these ads," it wouldn't feel SO obtrusive!!!
My suggestion:
give more control, with REASONABLE CONSTRAINTS, to either
(1.) the user/ viewer (eg. Viewer can choose when to start the 2-3 min ad block during a live stream), or
(2.) the streamer (eg. They choose when to start an ad block by clicking a button).
A constraint could be:
Must play a total of a 5min ad block within an hour stream (whether they choose to play the full 5 min at one time, or split it to two seperate 2.5 min ad blocks within each 30 min time span of their stream).

I've just got 7 ads in a row, and simply left the stream. I think it's terrible for streamers. Twitch is dying..

I went to a stream today, and it played two ads immediately. About five minutes later it played 9 ads! When ads are that high people get frustrated and leave.

I recently got ten ads in a row and then (actually, literally, truthfully) two seconds after i received nine ads in a row. Absolutely ridiculous. If there was AT LEAST a small view of the stream so i don't miss five minutes of the stream that would slightly improve this. Im done with twitch at this point

remove 5 minute ads and hour this is annoying to viewers and destroys the streamers community i will not watch the stream if there to many annoying ads, To be clearer the Viewer should be the one to get paid to watch the ads.
