Block ads from companies and categories (streamer/viewer) I'm sick and tired of seeing ads from sportsbooks and other betting apps, and I do not find it acceptable that ad feedback from Kalshi and Fanduel is being blocked on iOS. This seems to be by design and not because of a fault. We need to be allowed to put blocks on entire companies as well as categories in an easily accessible manner, with no exceptions, like Fanduel and Kalshi are seemingly getting on iOS. Delete Ads Holy *, there are SO MANY ADS on this platform nowadays. Every stream - Ads. While I watch the stream, the screen resizes to show me an ad on the side. While I scroll through the suggest lives - ads every couple of scrolls. NOW they made it so we receive 3 ads at the beginning of streams instead of 2. Holy *. People would probably be more willing to give you guys money if you didn't make the experience so cancer without giving you guys money. Why are there 3 minutes worth of ads every 10 minutes on the biggest streamers? Why do you guys have different values on subs between mobile and PC? Why do you guys make it so you can't skip ads, even though your competition does, FOR FREE? You guys are so behind and greedy it's actually pathetic. Enjoy Youtube streaming for less ads and a better chat experience.

Twitch not paying ad revenue Just letting Twitch know. I made an effort to reach out and inform Twitch that they are NOT paying me ANY ad revenue at all. I tried three times to get Twitch to acknowledge their mistake. Yet they continue to beat around the bush and give irrelevant answers. Overall, they just ignore the issue. Stop the repetitive Opt-out of targeted ads pop-up Almost every time I open Twitch I am prompted to opt in or out of targeted advertising. I select to opt out of the targeted ads, save my preference and move on. I then open twitch the next day to be smacked in the face by the same option yet again! Im sure if i opted into targeted ads I would never see the pop-up again, but i dont want them. Please fix this and just add a "dont show me this again" option to select!

Enhanced Broadcast Users Can Disable Ads Completely I think that, based on Twitch's own words in the past, Enhanced Broadcast would save them thousands of dollars per stream for not having to use the Amazon Servers, I think a fair trade for a user doing that, should be allowing them to turn off ads completely if they so wish.
Twitch saves money on servers, Streamer gets more engagement from No Ads, Viewers can still Sub to show support and get emotes and such so Twitch still gets net revenue, the traction in not having ads at all while still being affiliate is huge early on and benefits…

Fix Ad Manager's Timer Inaccuracy When the ads manager is active, the timer shown in chat AND the timestamp supplied to bots via the API are incorrect. The timer will count down to zero and the ads will not start on average for another 60 seconds. However, I have personally measured them being as much as 4 minutes late. The closest to on time I've ever seen is around 25 seconds late.
While it is unreasonable to expect ads to start with millisecond level accuracy they should start only several seconds late at most. This inaccuracy applies to bots who are using the API to…

Parity between Site rules and ad rules Gambling is not allowed on twitch, gambling ads should not be allowed on twitch. As an example, I get around 2 Hard Rock ads, one for a polymarket type platform, and one for Fanduel per hour ad cycle on a channel with hourly ad breaks. These ads are promoting content that is banned on the platform, so these ads should not be playing. Please do not take this as a complaint against banning gambling content.

Unhelpful ads I don't know why but for years, Twitch served me actually relevant ads for my demographic: woman gamer. Suddenly a month ago, it somehow forgot I'm a woman and has been giving me NOTHING but ads focused for male demographics, particularly sports gambling ads that are impossible to flag as not relevant.
Idk if they just don't understand that I'm NOT a man, but they do nothing change it, and it's making me angry.

Clips In the Clips section, when you click "Edit," you can edit the clip layout and send it to your social networks linked to your account. This is very convenient. But is there a way to add something like built-in Photoshop, for example, so you could add a caption from your Twitch channel to the clip, or, for example, your game rank or rating using a PNG image? The "Add" button would be very convenient!

be careful increasing the ads - too much and people will just instal adblocker It feels like the amount and length of advertisements is increasing. I don't use an adblocker on twitch, and most people I know also don't. But please learn from what happened with youtube - if the ads become too much annoying, people don't turn to paying more, many turn to adblockers. Ads annoying people doesn't make people want to support the platform, it makes them resent it and want to find ways around the problem to get back what they once had.

Let me pay a subscription fee as a small creator to not have ads on my channel Let me pay like 15$ a month to not have ads on my channel as a small creator. So if u have under 100 viewers you can pay for ur viewers not to have ads.
I make like .30 cents on ads for a 4 hour stream i'd rather pay u to leave it off my channel.

Option to auto mute ads I would really like a new feature where you can automatically mute ads. All ads.
I am all for helping creators by watching ads and giving them revenue. It would help if we could watch ads without any sound. Ad and content volume normalization doesn't always work, sometimes ads are much louder still.
And if you watch and listen to a stream that has a story, it is immersion-breaking to hear a weird ad-jingle in the middle of a sentence.

Stop Punishing Viewers for Chatting Twitch’s ad system has gotten out of control. Every time I interact with chat—especially when I ask an important question—I’m immediately hit with a wave of ads. It’s obvious Twitch is tracking chat activity to serve more ads because it knows I’m actually watching. That’s manipulative, greedy, and completely kills the experience for non-subscribed viewers.

Viewer Chooses Ad Time/Placement Let the viewer decide where and when they see ads.
The ads can be based off the viewer’s activity and not the streamer’s.
If the viewer is watching and sees the streamer step away, they can select to play ads for themselves. Then they won’t be interrupted by any ads for themselves next hour no matter which streamer they go to watch.
Another example: a streamer they support goes live with a 5 min Starting Soon scene. The viewer can choose to watch 5 min of ads to help that streamer.2 votes
