Create discord-like currency used for ad skipping Create a separate page where people can choose to watch (or participate in) ads voluntarily, which would give some virtual currency, similar to Discord Orbs and Quests.
This currency could then be toggled to be automatically used when an ad would happen mid-stream, instantly skipping it and deducting some amount.
This would decouple ads for streams, removing the annoyance of watchers, which is very detrimental for the ad itself too, as they'd connect a negative emotion to the ad mid-stream, whereas voluntarily watching it could be neutral or even positive if they are interested in the ad.

Ads Pls fix ur support and the broken ads. I literally dont have ads while twitch is showing me that ads are running. I have time on ads, while no ads are shown in the stream. And don't come with ur standard answer. It's just a problem I have! No other streamer have that problem. I don't have any revenue on ads. Thanks for taking away my revenue from the ads! *irony off

Stop playing ads that are not in my language There needs to be an option on an account level that lets you directly specify that you only want ads that are in your language. My whole family just started getting ads in Spanish when it never used to happen before, EVER.
I don't speak enough Spanish to actually know what they are saying, so the ad is absolutely useless and I just end up muting it anyway.

Ad exemption for moderators I think that it's important that moderators DON'T get trapped behind ads.
As a streamer that relies on their mods a lot, having a mod that may not be able to afford to sub to my channel hinders them from performing ALL of their mod duties. Even when lowering the time of the ads, things can still be missed and it would be helpful to us streamers to not have our mods trapped behind ads all the time.

Streamer Banner Ad Toggle My suggestion is pretty simple. Give Streamers the option to decide between having a permanent rotating banner ad on, or fullscreen ads that disrupt the viewer experience. This way Twitch still gets their ad money, without Streamers having to intentionally disrupt their content to prevent tense moments during ad breaks, or viewers joining and having to sit through a variable amount of pre-roll ads, that may drive them away from the platform.

Have ads play at the volume setting of the stream volume I often have the stream volume set to a low value because I use in ear earphone, but when ads play they are blasting at much higher volume until I manually adjust the volume slider of the app. This happens for EVERY ad that plays. And some streamers I watch will have like a 3 minute block of ads run every hour or so, and each ad must have its volume adjusted to not blow out my ear drums. Stop with the excessive video adverts! Start using banners and tickers instead of video ads. They are less intrusive, and more importlantly less annoying.
On a side note, it's amazingly short sited and stupid to play 3 min ad breaks during VGA awards that already have a bunch of ads and trailers. Start a partnership, and stop ruining the experience for your viewers! (the real money makers)2 votes -
Reduce Ad ideas for discoverability Delay new ads if a viewer is channel hopping to help with discovery. Space out ads by category to avoid hitting the same viewer with 6 ads in 15 minutes, if they’re browsing. A discovery mode where ads pause while exploring new channels.
A 3–5 minute first visit window with no ads, to let you get hooked before interrupting. If you stay longer, then ads start normally.
Create a dedicated Discover or Random Stream mode that’s ad-free for exploration. Twitch could limit it to, say, 20 minutes per day. Just enough to let people find new streamers without frustration.

Ads are too long Streams start with 2 mins of ads (Some times even 5 mins) then I get to watch the streamer for 30 seconds to a minute before another set of 2 min ads. I see more ads than I do the streamer. Maybe consider toning down the length of ads...

A channel subscription across the whole of twitch I would pay for a subscription on twitch where I could watch any streamer, and only get limited ads, where the revenue goes towards the streamer when I am watching that stream. If I switch to another stream I still get limited ads but that revenue then goes to that streamer. There are so many ads now, and I want to watch more streamers, not just one and be revenue locked to that streamer and the amount they stream.
