ad audio inconsistent ads are volume ramping to play louder. that's first of all intrusive. you gotta keep the volume down. i let it play and mute the speakers, but you should not shoehorn the ******* **** out of this ad business.
the real issue is it creates undesired volume peaks when switching back the streamers audio.
can you ******* code properly? this is just annoying to watch the industry go haywire and ruin everything for the cash grab. smdh

Do not let ads play unpleasant and Dangerous sounds There is an anti dui ad that is currently playing 5/22/2026. The ad features a high pitched piercing sound. Combined with louder ads is incredibly dangerous and unpleasant especially if you are listening tabbed out or it is playing in another room or assume that people have high quality headphones or high quality speakers. I would assume it is especially dangerous for young kids and could probably cause hearing loss. more importantly legal action

wrong captions Twitch people. Your AI bros are ripping you and having AI run on all ads you have to then caption them. They even know that AD doesn't have dialogue and then it writes a CAPTION : '' Captions not needed : There is no dialogue." and that is on the screen the entire ad break

Stop filtering criticism on ads twitch just gave me ANOTHER weight loss pill / injection ad and i went to report it to say stop advertising weight loss in this incredibly predatory and unsafe way and it gave me an error for each report option. i tried to report the next ad to see if it was just twitch being broken BUT IT LET ME REPORT THE ONE FOR A MOVIE TRAILER. dont advertise predatory things and then turn off the report feature because everyone hates what you are advertising instead of not running the ads <3

Allow users to blacklist tags to filter out unwanted content from recommendations The Problem:
Currently, Twitch recommends channels based on tags, categories, and viewing history. However, if a user is not interested in certain content types (e.g., gambling, specific game genres, "Just Chatting" subtopics, or controversial tags), there is no way to proactively exclude them from recommendations. This leads to a cluttered directory and a less personalized browsing experience.
The Proposed Solution:
Add a user-controlled setting: "Blacklisted Tags" (or "Muted Tags"), where users can select tags they don't want to see.
Accessible via: Settings → Privacy & Preferences → Content Preferences

Save advert progress as you watch it It would be better if streamer ad breaks adverts would track progress because I think some adverts do. I was hit with a 3 minute ad break and 30 seconds in, I reloaded the web page and it resets the whole 3 minutes. This means I am watching the advert longer than the duration of the advert. This just wastes extra time and not generate value for the streamer, and increase dissatisfaction for the viewer. That's what I think. Stop the repetitive Opt-out of targeted ads pop-up Almost every time I open Twitch I am prompted to opt in or out of targeted advertising. I select to opt out of the targeted ads, save my preference and move on. I then open twitch the next day to be smacked in the face by the same option yet again! Im sure if i opted into targeted ads I would never see the pop-up again, but i dont want them. Please fix this and just add a "dont show me this again" option to select!

Parity between Site rules and ad rules Gambling is not allowed on twitch, gambling ads should not be allowed on twitch. As an example, I get around 2 Hard Rock ads, one for a polymarket type platform, and one for Fanduel per hour ad cycle on a channel with hourly ad breaks. These ads are promoting content that is banned on the platform, so these ads should not be playing. Please do not take this as a complaint against banning gambling content.

Block ads from companies and categories (streamer/viewer) I'm sick and tired of seeing ads from sportsbooks and other betting apps, and I do not find it acceptable that ad feedback from Kalshi and Fanduel is being blocked on iOS. This seems to be by design and not because of a fault. We need to be allowed to put blocks on entire companies as well as categories in an easily accessible manner, with no exceptions, like Fanduel and Kalshi are seemingly getting on iOS. People would probably be more willing to give you guys money if you didn't make the experience so cancer without giving you guys money. Why are there 3 minutes worth of ads every 10 minutes on the biggest streamers? Why do you guys have different values on subs between mobile and PC? Why do you guys make it so you can't skip ads, even though your competition does, FOR FREE? You guys are so behind and greedy it's actually pathetic. be careful increasing the ads - too much and people will just instal adblocker It feels like the amount and length of advertisements is increasing. I don't use an adblocker on twitch, and most people I know also don't. But please learn from what happened with youtube - if the ads become too much annoying, people don't turn to paying more, many turn to adblockers. Ads annoying people doesn't make people want to support the platform, it makes them resent it and want to find ways around the problem to get back what they once had.
