1. Star Wars Music

   All Star Wars Music technically Falls under Fair use, so as long as it is being used for something Star Wars. Star Wars music shouldn't be getting flagged there's over 50-100 different Star Wars Video games...

   Your rules are stupid, you aren't protecting anybody but the user themselves, it would have been easier for you to right a EULA, that explains that Twitch isn't responsible and that the video creator holds full accountability, instead of making this dumb system you guys made, where videos get muted, while playing games they were meant to be played in.....

2. Additional Account Security

   I recently was follow botted again. A pretty recent update to twitch security added the option of only allowing verified accounts to type in chat. I believe we need an option that goes a step further to prevent follow bots entirely. The option is simple. Please give the streamer the option of requiring a verified phone number to follow their stream. That would remove any chance of someone follow botting because they will not have hundreds of verified accounts. And if they did they could be easily identified and dealt with.

3. Clarity regarding public domain in different countries

   With the new year a number of works have now entered the public domain. A given channel's audience may be global and so these works will not enter the public domain uniformly. Presently the existing guidelines specify that the broadcaster must have the rights, but there is an important distinction between the rights within their own country or for all countries the broadcast may reach (in effect, the longest duration across all countries). If the rights apply to individuals who may be viewing, then it would be preferable to be able to restrict the broadcast to certain regions so that they operate under the laws of their own country (e.g. Broadcasters in France should be able to broadcast French works in the public domain and not need to wait for the work to enter the public domain in the United States)

4. Protect Former Community Members from Harassment

   Protect viewers from being harassed after leaving a community.

   There have been quite a few times, one I know of personally, where a streamer has asked their community to spy on a former community member and screenshot any conversation mentioning the streamer so the streamer could "control" the situation. The streamer then sent their community members into streams the former community member was a part of to spy on them and report back anything said. This is possibly still happening and the person who was being followed has appealed to Twitch, reporting the person involved, multiple times only for nothing to be done. The person being followed feels extremely nervous on the platform and more should be done to protect viewers from controlling streamers. Nobody should be openly stalked via Twitch or other platforms.

6. the appeal is not allowing me to submit once completed. the submit button is grayed out and back icon only option

   create a page to submit proof that I have purchased a license to stream any video and audio on twitch or other platform. our organization purchases a yearly license to stream video and audio during religious services.

7. turning off host feature and HOST 2FA

   please allow streamers to turn off the host option.
   we can block raids, but we cannot stop channels from hosting us, which is now being exploited and bad actors (some evading bans) are now hosting accounts with a malicious intent.,

   Some streamers have been using bots for years. Bots are sitting in the viewer list with female nicknames and avatars. Those who come to their channel end up on the restream of the owner of the bot network.    Force streamers to utilize overlay extensions that identify artists when using copyrighted music. This is free advertising for those artists / record labels. It's a feature that is already built into StreamElements Media Request streaming tool. This is no different than streaming games and you know it. If you refuse to use an identifier, you get hit with DMCA.

10. Sans-serif fonts

    Twitch's default font does not use serifs. Serifs are important for distinguishing I's from l's. For instance, if you can easiIy teIl which of the lowercase L's are or are not repIaced with uppercase i's in this sentence, you're almost definitely using a screen reader. Yes, there is a difference between them, but you wouldn't be able to tell me which is which.

    This is a big issue in any online form of communication, for the following reasons:

    1: Security. People can post a link that has an L replaced with an i, or sometimes vice versa, without it being noticed. Like if you posted "googIe.com" (that's an uppercase i not an L). Maybe google actually owns that, I don't know, but that's not the point. People can and do make misleading links that seem like well-known trusted domains. Adding serifs to a font is a huge aid in combatting this.

    2: Legibility. It's very important that people be able to read each other's names exactly. When banning users in chat, a lot of mods rely on correctly reading letters -- if my name were "lmTheBest" it would look like my name starts with an uppercase i, but it doesn't. People can also impersonate users who have lowercase L's or uppercase i's in their name.

    On a less-important note, the reason that drove me over the edge to post this is that I recently changed my username, and people have been reading it with the wrong letter. I shouldn't have to decide between indicating the start of a new word and indicating the correct letter. I say it's less important only because I know I'm in a minority of people whose names would be read incorrectly because of the lack of serifs in the font, but the rest of this is a serious problem that can affect any user, unless they get a twitch extension to change their font, like I have. Of course, for my own issue, this isn't even a solution, because my problem is other people's font, not my own.

    But in any case, sans-serif fonts are only good for art and advertisement. Twitch chat is neither, at least most of the time; and regardless, the primary use case is as a method of communication. So please improve communication. Add serifs to the default/only font.

11. Perverts abusing the underage age report button.

    Twitch I been watching some of the small streams in the sports channel and I notice something that needs to be taking care of quickly. There are a lot of perverts going to kids twitch channels and asking them to show their feet. When the kid refuse they end up getting ban. I was so confused, i was thinking how a channel could be ban for not showing their feet to perverts but i realized that if someone was to report a channel for being underage then that channel would be ban in like 2 or 3 minutes. The parts that came to the me as most shocking was that no twitch mod would ask for the age and some of the kids who get banned are not under the age of 13. So these perverts have used this to their advantage by telling kids to show their feet, and if the kids don't then the perverts use the underage report button to get rid of there channel.
    I think the way to fix this is by checking to see if the user is underage. Another thing is that every time a report a pervert for doing this the channel is never deleted.

12. Spam Bot Ads and Spam Follow Bot

    Usual Spam Bots, the last in time "Bigfollow"

    Use anti-bot system with algorythms to detect these kind of bot, who the the same sentence with variations, characters variations, space variations, etc...

    Twitch detection should learn and create auto-detection for them :
    a user enter a channel, post one message and leave, enter another channel, post the same message (or same message with variation) and leave..

    the last spam bot is easy to detect, because they use the same keyword in their sentence variations : Bigfollow

    Twitch please use an auto-detection, and ban them.
    And allow users to the new words to that "keyword list used in sentence by spam bot"

    The same for the FOLLOW-BOT, they just enter a channel, follow, unfollow immediatly, just to activate the trigger and display their "ads username", and they continue, enter a new channel, follow, unfollow...

    For at least the meantime while the follow hate bots are a thing... Make creating new accounts have a mandatory cooldown before they can follow an option since many of the accounts that do the hate follow to get around current protections are created same day.

14. Ban Email Clarity

    Hello!

    I know this has been raised before and promised by both Emmett and Marcus but I would like to draw some perspective to the issue.

    When a streamer receives automatic ban notification email they are given the following information. You were banned for one or more of these three reasons and this offence occurred on a Stream or VOD (aka somewhere).

    As a broadcaster when looking to be compliant with all of Twitch's terms of service and receiving a ban it is hard to know what specifically needs to be changed because the notification email amounts to you vaguely did one or more of these thing we think is in appropriate at some point in time during your entire streaming career.

    Without knowing how far back in the VODs to go (yesterday, a month, a year, 5 years?) it makes it very difficult for broadcasters to become compliant again. This result in mostly guess work in some cases and a hope that the broadcaster guessed correctly.

    This is an uncomfortable risk for small and middle sized streamers that just started to stream full time. It also feels like an unreasonable expectation Twitch is placing on broadcasters to guess what they did wrong and when.

    The email also indicated the content may be removed which is also concerning because if the content was not removed then the broadcaster has no idea what to delete to become compliant again. They also risk repeated reports for the same content which they do not know what to delete. This often results in a "just delete everything to be safe" mind set which causes the removal of good content along with the bad.

    This also creates more work on both sides. Often content creators will appeal the ban decision just in the hopes of finding out more specific information regarding the ban. Which in turn requires a Twitch staff member to review the report. The appeal could be avoided if the broadcaster saw the specific information, understood Twitch's position and accepted the ban/changed their stream to be in compliance.

    Per the stream from Marcus and talk from Emmett the solution would seem to be providing either a clip or date/timestamp of the incident along with the specific reason for the ban. Even a simple description from the staff member that issued the ban would help. This could be something as simple as the blue outfit did not meet our clothing guidelines, or the motions or actions at time were considered sexual in nature.

    Anyways I hope this perspective help bring impress the need for change in these systems.

16. Stop making streamers feel like they need to ban EVERYONE that discusses age.

    This entire concept is counter productive and makes the chat experience awkward. I understand that streamers do this to prevent kids from being in mature streams but this actually makes this problem worse because now you have a bunch of potential children watching adult streams and they know not to mention their age! What is the logic here?!?! Plus mature adults want to know how old the people are that they're chatting with. It's a very common topic and something that people WANT to know since the beginning of the internet , A/S/L ? Age chat should NOT be discouraged , but rather underage children should be asked to leave or banned and regular adults should be free to discuss their age like all normal people do. If a troll says they are underage they will get banned just the same as anyone else saying they're underage. This policy doesn't solve any problems and creates awkward and unpleasant circumstances in just about every streamers chat each and every day. Please change this.

17. Timestamp Feature for Reporting

    It would be nice to have the option when reporting someone to have some kind of timestamp feature that would take support directly to the place in the recorded stream video where the incident occurred. That way people wouldn't have to manually figure out the date and time/time zone or even provide a link to photo or video evidence hosted on a third party site.

18. Add option to report account for impersonation

    Right now there isn't an option to report an account for impersonating another user. It's really easy for someone to make an account with a similar name by substituting an uppercase I for a lowercase L (I vs l) or with any other kind of letter/number substitution.

    There should be an option to easily report an account for impersonating someone else.

19. By asking the Creator who is the real owner of that music/sounds

    I had my vod muted and after verifying who was the owner and listen to the song, I discovered that he's not the owner at ALL!
    That song or part of that song is a mere copy/use of Apple Loops music and samples free to use even for commercial use or broadcasting by Apple Inc. That package of DVD song/sound/sample is part of the Apple product "Final Cut Studio" that I OWN! So I have the license to use it in Twitch or any other broadcasting use.

    Now the problem is the external company that ask Twitch to mute! Those guys should be in jail for fake claims!
    They first should send a notice to Twitch, that once received notify the Creator and ask him to send proofs of his right conduct and licensed use of that song/music/sample. If the Creator can't produce any proof then Twitch can have the right to mute. Only in that case.
    It's time to STOP those ABUSES from copyright company that do not verify anything a part from using a kind of Shazam system to recognize that 2 different Creators are using the same samples licensed to both by Apple inc?? They must jocking!!!

    I had my vod muted and after verifying who was the owner and listen to the song, I discovered that he's not the owner at ALL!
    That song or part of that song is a mere copy/use of Apple Loops music and samples free to use even for commercial use or broadcasting by Apple Inc. That package of DVD song/sound/sample is part of the Apple product "Final Cut Studio" that I OWN! So I have the license to use it in Twitch or any other broadcasting use.

20. On the crazy feature of blocking

    The “block” function is the greatest exercise of power in chatting on twitch. This feature has the function of eliminating spam bots, political propaganda, and other obviously harmful entities that make comments knowing that they will be blocked.
    However, I think there is another side to this feature. This is the “monster-making machine” aspect. First of all, except for comments that are intentionally blocked as mentioned above, the first thing a blocked person does is to create a sub-account. I’ll skip the discussion of whether this in itself is a good thing or a bad thing, as that is not the purpose of the message I want to convey. First of all, we can see here that the “block” function does not work at all. The detailed mechanism will be explained later, but at this point, the user feels as if he or she has been attacked in some way. At this point, users can either say, “I did something wrong, so this block is reasonable to some extent,” and start chatting normally again, or they can say, "This block is unfair, and I’ll stick to this distributor and attack him. In the case of the former, the person will chat again without worrying about the block and with some degree of remorse. In the case of the latter, the person will continue to sticky and attack the distributor until he or she is satisfied.
    But there’s more to it than that. One day, the former person’s account will suddenly stop, and a notice will be sent to his email address, stating that his account has been suspended for "repeatedly circumventing chat bans. The user who felt attacked for free will now get a follow-up from the management. Twitch uses every conceivable kind of bot to prevent people from “repeatedly evading chat bans”. They can even identify a sub-account just by changing the email address link. The reason for this, I assume, is to prevent the creation of sub-accounts for “people who are obviously harmful and know they will be blocked,” as mentioned above, but the effect extends to people who have been blocked for mere comments.
    In this way, Twitch has built a system to chase down people who have been blocked over and over again. By chasing after people who have been chatting with some degree of remorse, they have succeeded in creating the “this block is unfair, and I’m going to stick to this distributor and attack them” monster mentioned above.
    Now, let me explain why people feel attacked by this block function. First of all, people other than the “obviously harmful and knowingly blocked” people mentioned above are not intentionally misbehaving, for example, if they are tempted to put up ASCII art in the chat room and play a prank, or if they are hungry or have a fight with their girlfriend and are in a bad mood. For example, if you’re in a bad mood because you’re hungry or you’ve had a fight with your girlfriend, you might react to an attack that you would normally overlook and end up fighting in chat. Of course, this is not the only case where people violate the community guidelines, but there are many other cases where people violate the community guidelines not intentionally, but because they have to. This may seem intentional from an objective point of view, but the people themselves act in such a way because they have to. And even though the probability of this happening is low in twitch, which is watched by tens of millions of people, there is a certain number of people who act this way because the denominator is large. There is no malicious intent on their part. However, the twitch system does not consider whether there was malice or not. If you are blocked, you can’t even see the comments. In other words, it means that you are banned from the community. Users enjoy not only the delivery of the distributor, but also the sense of community unity and chatting with the community. It means a permanent and almost irreversible ban from all of that. No matter how sorry the user is, no matter how much he regrets his actions, the result will be the same. If the system encourages users to reflect on their actions and structure their accounts, rather than forcing them to create sub-accounts, it will make people who violate the rules without malicious intent reaffirm the rules and reflect on their actions. In addition, the blocking feature of not being able to see comments is excessive in some respects, because in the state of excitement after being blocked, the reaction of the chat at the moment of being blocked may cause rage, so not letting people see comments for an hour after being blocked, or even permanently, is It is excessive. It would also be effective to make the unblock request in the form of a chat so that the user can show remorse and reconfirm the rules, rather than just once.
