Playing Music On Stream Allow creators to play music on stream even if not created by the user or having rights to it but are required to keep it a very low volume. I feel removing the ability for streamer to have background music of their, or viewers choice is taking away the personality of the streamer. For me the music I listen to describes the person I am the mood I am feeling and an over all setting for new and old viewers.I just don't want to have to play a game and not listen to my favorite songs as I hang out…

Chatbot presence restrictions Chat bots are intended for a channel owner to engage and moderate THEIR chat and channel. It is inappropriate, unwelcome, and absolutely NOT HARMLESS. You would NEVER in your right mind allow some stranger (or their spy cam and mic) to lurk unwelcome in your home.
Chatbots should not have the same account-like status as real people. They should be restricted to their owner's channel and chat completely via implementation. They should not be permitted to roam freely.

Twitch, Amazon Music, Audio Fingerprint and DMCA Solution Recently a lot of streamers have been getting DMCA notices for streams that are 2-3 years old. 50 Cent - In Da Club has been flagged on many channels along with other music from RIAA. This is a problem because streamers are now scared of getting punished or banned off the platform for listening to the music they want to listen to. This is not good for the longevity of the platform if it wants to survive the entertainment industry.
To be brutally honest, Twitch is not good for the music industry at all. If a streamer has 10,000 viewers…

Add a unfollow cooldown after following so people can't spam Add a set cooldown from following to unfollowing as it sucks when someone follows to only get noticed by the streamer and thanked to then immediatly unfollow. People do this often on my stream, they follow me, I say thanks and a few moments later then unfollow.

Musical extension to limit DMCA problems The musical atmosphere being an important part for the creation of content on the platform, and to limit future problems with the DMCA as we can see now.
I propose an extension (or a feature) in partnership with the main music streaming software that would allow music to be broadcast directly on the live page and not integrated into the video stream.
If we take the example of Spotify, having to link its twitch page with spotify so that the viewers can hear the music we add to our stream in real time
And of course find a way for…

Getting muted audio from music I have licensed to play. I have license to play music from Monstercat. I have a playlist with content creator tracks (no non-licensable tracks). My past 6 streams, I get muted audio. I know exactly what the muted audio is used for, which is muting "copyrighted songs". Which is true, but I pay license to play them. Now, I edit my streams, music still in my videos, and upload them on YouTube, but I don't get claimed there. This is all in Twitch's end. I hope this can be fixed, because I pay money to pay money so I don't get claimed, or muted audio,…

Suggested streaming bans Lately, these bans attacking everyone are complicated.
What if they create a way for users who are watching streaming to confirm the bans?An example: Suppose I am watching a stream where the creator of the content does something that will upset me, in which case I request a ban confirmation for all other users who are watching the same stream, and if the percentage rate is in favor ban, the ban is approved by the majority. What do you think? Fair enough?Note: Please, if you like the idea, don't take it for yourself. I await an answer.

Here's a NEW idea - ADULT CONTENT CHANNEL for GAMES. Your Terms Of Service is censorship in areas where females and those who identify as female live outside of the United States of America, where showing 'nipples' is not considered frontal upper body nudity in the eyes of the Canadian Constitution, and human rights. It was considered sexist to keep women tethered to a rule that did not apply equally to men in all conditions.

Don't allow accounts to stream anime or tv shows. Make it easy to report it! There is a trend for people to stream anime series which not only is illegal, since they don't own the content which has copyright, but this will hurt twitch content creators.
Most of these channels are using an illegal streaming website to stream the show on twitch.
If they are using a legal site (for example, Crunchyroll) they are breaking the law by double streaming their content here.
They are not creating their own content, hurting all hard-working streamers that actually put effort on twitch.
The problem is there is no easy way of making a report for this case.…

Hard block for users with too many "active" bans. I would love to see Twitch implement a feature that allows Streamers to set up a hard block for users with XX (configurable by streamer) amount of currently active bans.
This feature alone would greatly reduce the serial trollers that do nothing but jump from stream to stream trolling and getting banned.
It would also be great to have a feature that allows Mods and Streamers alike to see how many active bans a viewer has.
Thank you for your consideration.

Auto skip feature for watching vods which become muted due to copyright. When watching a vod, which I do plenty. It can be annoying to try and scroll through the small time slider to reach the end of a break where music has caused copyright and the vod is muted. A prompt saying would you like to skip to when the vod is no longer muted would be very helpful.

Beginner's Guide to Music Usage Copyright Laws Thanks for putting together Creator Camp in the first place! It has a wealth of resources and gives me more confidence to get started.
One thing I would like more information about is how to avoid copyright issues with playing music on my channel while streaming. I know some streamers do this already and I would like to know their workarounds (especially since listening to certain kinds of music is a big part of my life and personality).

hey if we are not yet affiliated why is our audio getting muted.. copy write laws should only apply if your making money off of the content copy write laws should not effect new streamers that are not being paid for their streams, once one gets affiliated then and only then should copy write laws apply .. playing my favorite songs in my streams helps my audience get to know me through my interests and sense i haven't built a live audience yet having my audio muted is a huge burden!!! most of my views happen after my streams... please change this i am not breaking the law until i am profiting off of that content!!!!!

Music Please I would love for there to be a place full of approved music. Like with YouTube, have a page, tab, or something with music that wont get copyright stuck. Especially since even some game music can get strikes. I don't want to get in trouble and I only recently learned that you can't play everyday music. It would be awesome if you would compile a list of music for people to be able to play without getting in trouble. Please and Thank You

More professionalism, less corruption, less suspending people for standing up to trolls and match ruiners!! Twitch have been 100% disgraceful and corrupt as of late, firstly they take 10 years to reply to a ticket urgent or not, they support cyber bulling and suspend people who stand up to trolls in streamers chat or game being played, they suspend you for 7 days and it lasts 14+ days which a joke...twitch really need to pull their heads out of their a$$es and this point.... twitch should be ashamed of themselves

Require an account to view a channel To help with the new stuff coming with banning people it should have an optional feature to require an account to view a stream. And to go further to set the level of account i.e. required just an account, require an account with a verified email, require the account to be at least x hours/days old.
That way those people we've banned cannot just sit there logged out stalking us.2 votes -
Please fix the automated VOD muting The automated muting of VODs is unevenly applied and mutes too much.
During a recent co-op stream, me and the other streamer both listened to a song that was posted in one of our chats. My VOD was muted for copyrighted music (which is fair, I'm not disputing that). However, there are two problems with this:
My VOD was muted, but the other streamer was not, even though we listened to the >exact< same song.
Way too much of my VOD was muted. The muted section of the VOD goes on for far longer than it actually played on the…

Import / Export Banlist I have been thinking about an easy way to ban multiple banned users on multiple channels. I am thinking especially of names that violate the guidelines or are known to be bot accounts. Especially with regard to followbot and chatbot attacks.
A Simple Txt-file that you can export and import would be enough.7 votes -
When appealing muted music on a VOD, add an option for "Claimant Is Not Actually the Copyright Holder" I recently had a GB Tetris stream get muted because the copyright bot's song IDing listed "Ikon Ringtones" as the owner of the song.
I can say with full confidence that "Ikon Ringtones" does NOT own Hirokazu Tanaka's 8-bit rendition of a Russian folk song. And that's been the problem for years - bad actors clowning around with copyright claims for video game music they don't own. Not only do establishments like "Ikon Ringtones" get away with it for using video game music as ringtone options, insignificant nobody DJs have also been known to do it when they sample music…
