Simplify/Streamline the Reporting Process It takes 4 clicks, then a description to report someone in chat.
Surely there doesn't need to be 3 pages of a dozen choices each in order to sort the reports. I'm not aware of any other platform that approaches reporting this way.
In cases where a busy chat is being raided by malicious actors, you will let most of them through without being reported, in the time it takes to report one.

Silent-Ban Option Please give use an option to chosse between a normal and a silent ban.
What a silent ban is? If i silent ban someone, the banned person will not see it. He will not get a message and he still can write in chat. But noone without him can read it.
Why? Against trolling and against getting troll to make new accounts after thex get banned.
With a silent ban a troll will keep writing but get no attention!4 votes -
Respect the Gamer Girls Campaign The gamer community is a well known toxic ground for girls, just yesterday while watching a Brazilian league of legend tournament many users were posting toxic and thresh posts about the first Brazilian girl to play in a big league of legend team (CNB), we can't let this attitude go unpunished or just forget it. Twitchs needs to take a step forward and create a campaign to protect and encourage girls to keep on playing and follow their dreams. Twitch also need to encourage players to report this kind of attitude and punish this kind of "bad, for community, gamer".…

create a 'report' function for whispers. Whispers only has 'report harrassment' or 'report spam'. This does not cover other things that could happen like threats. Give us the ability to make a report like there is elsewhere.

Add a censorship option for streamers It's not unusual for streamers to get banned for accidentaly bringing up NSFW stuff or saying something inappropriate (racism for example) during stream, soo i had an idea to add a censorship option for streamers, this would allow them to censor parts of the stream soo when someone who are sensitive to that stuff watches it they don't need to see/hear what was censored, you guys may also add an option for people to see what was censored but that is all up to you guys.

Have an "other" option when reporting someone's stream For lesser offences when it's not a huge deal or if someone fell asleep on stream or if someone has been afk for multiple hours and only simply need their stream stopped and not needing a ban

Shadow Ban We should be able to Shadow ban people, just like reddit, imagine a world where trolls, haters etc gets to keep writing their nonsense in the twitch chat, not knowing they are banned and no one being able to see what they are typing:)

We should delete follower by ourselfs. We should delete follower by ourselfs.
Maybe someone is getting follow-botted and twitch don't delete the bots, maybe someone banned him that he cant talk in chat anymore but still follow the channel and whatches but you dont want that.
You dont wan't that this person see you live.
We should have a option where we can delete the followers in our dashboard.

Kick unwanted users/bots from Channel COMPLETELY! Dear Twitch,
We are now dealing with a new threat of bot accounts. These accounts sit lurking in channel, possibly logging info of either streamers or chatters. They may be using this info for giveaway sniping, or possible future bot attacks, including viewer bots, follower bots, and even spam bots. They sit there and do nothing, they follow us to other streams we host/raid. We ban them, not like they ever say anything, but to prevent them from spreading, we need a way to KICK THEM OFF THE CHANNEL.
Recently had a run in with "Opentwitchbot" whom acknowledges that they…
1,037 votesHi, I know that this is a very late response, but we’re hoping to find time to address this issue later this year. There are a few steps we’ll have to take to solve this problem in a way that will work for all streamers, but we understand the severity of the issue.

Emergency Service button I think there should be a button for when streamers are having a stroke or something the viewers can click the button. This button should send a confirmation to some twitch admins and if its true they click on approve. when they click on approve a signal is going out to the streamers local emergency service and they will respond to the emergency case.
a precondition to this is that you need to know the adress of the streamers what can be done be asking for the adress when creating a new account or when you implement it that existing…

Review the Creative TOS, Twitch In your own TOS you allow:
Building construction sets (Lego, Erector sets, Mega Bloks, K'nex, Duplo, etc) or model kits (Warhammer, Gundam, and etc)You do not, however, allow:
Toy assemblyHow do you know that the Gundams etc. Will not be used as toys once they are done? How can you be sure they will not be gifted to a family member and that they will use them as toys.
Toy assembly should be allowed.
You do not allow: Unboxing
But yet many people do unboxing streams (primarly "big streamers")You do not allow: Playing puzzles
But you allow…58 votes -
Add new filters for creating usernames to deter the creation of accounts used for trolling/harassment purposes In light of recent events in which two individuals have been harassing and cyberstalking a number of Twitch streamers, myself included, it would be helpful to filter out alternative forms of profanity along with formats of phone numbers.
Specifically, I suggest the following be filtered/prohibited in username creation:
- bltch (with an "L" instead of an "i")
- wh0re (with a "0" instead of an "o")
- ########## (the typical format of including phone numbers in a username)
All three of these techniques have been used by internet trolls when creating multiple accounts to harass streamers and post their personal information.…

Assign a unique ID to users Assign a unique ID to users connecting to streamers (based on hardware ID if possible, IP is too easy to change) to make creeps and toxic people easier to get rid of. If that's even possible, I have no idea but it doesn't sound too hard. I don't know for sure what this means server-wise, I'd imagine you'd need some place to store these IDs and this place would get pretty cluttered if every user is assigned an ID per stream but... food for thought. Maybe have it be assigned after a message is sent? this way you wouldn't have…

Have a shadowbanning system for bot accounts. It's too easy to create an account so once a user reports a bot account the staff bans them, they get a new IP and are ready to go again.
If you implement a shadowbanning system where their messages appear in chat but not to other users then that means that staff only have to ban the user once as they will not make a new account. It would be like a global ignore feature except the person being banned will not know that they have been ignored by every user. This would make the staffs job so much easier…

Allow helmet cams for Live Streams on Motorcycles. Moto Vloggers from YouTube are making a transition into Twitch but in the TOS you arn't allowed to drive and stream. I think you should be able to have the Helmet Cam while on a motorcycle.

Inform broadcasters of potential alts on the same IP as a punished user Many streamers have the same problem where someone is abusive in the chat. In this case, they are banned. It is more than common that the same user would come back on an alt to continue being abusive in chat.
My suggestion is to notify broadcasters/chat moderators of accounts that are on the same IP as someone who has been banned or timed out, so that they could deal with them accordingly. This could even be extended to allowing broadcasters to IP ban people from their chat.
Yes, there may be a problem with people using VPN's, however this is…

When you ban a partnered streamer please tell them exactly what got them banned instead of giving them the category of TOS they are breaking If you ban a partnered streamer temporarily please tell them exactly what in the vod got them banned and how to avoid doing that in the future. Ive seen how vague and ineffective the system of telling a streamer "you broke this rule" in a email is and hope Twitch improves on this flawed system

Broadcaster Able remove/rescrict followers I wanted suggestion that Streamers would be able remove a follower and set it the way he could not follow you again with a time limit or permanently. last year I contacted the staff about follower who refuse to unfollow even he hated me and always came back spy and lose my followers with false facts he never got anything of it. So I wanted to suggest this if anyone has similar situations, to get ability just simply remove the follower yourself and able control if you can follow you again.

Allow all games. Remove the prohibited games list. The Twitch community is composed of people from around the world, coming from unique political backgrounds and cultures.
Prohibiting games enforces a specific view of the world to the Twitch community as to what is acceptable or not, censoring content with valuable gameplay and cultural content in the process.
As of this writing, the list of prohibited games are either due to violence, sex, or any game with the "Adults Only (AO)" ESRB rating. While this could be argued to be a good thing for kids, Twitch has already a "Mature Content" flag in its channel settings for this specific…
