Regex filters and whitelist rules Given the widespread use of hostile bots on Twitch right now by bad actors, particularly those targeting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, it would be great if we could have a RegEx pattern block/ban/follow restriction option. A number of the accounts being spun up for the purpose of harassing and stealing the identities of streamers have consistent name patterns, and being able to issue a regex block/ban on those patterns would be useful.
This sort of feature would obviously be something that streamers would have to use at their own risk. Overly inclusive block/ban patterns could potentially limit legitimate viewers. But…

Auto-filter for accounts that have never streamed but more than a couple thousand followers Please check if the number of followers of a channel is realistic if that channel has NEVER streamed. Recently there is a spike of purchased followers used in hate-raids against LGBTQIA+ people. A lot of this could be automatically prevented or at least decreased in how bad it is by automatically putting channels with a high followercount despite never having streamed on a watchlist and not allowing them to raid until this is reviewed.

The report button on channel pages should work (instead of saying error while submitting report) Since a bugreport page does not seem to exist and the general category is under maintenance: Your report button is completely broken. I cannot report channels used for hate-raids against LGBTQIA+ people (tried Chrome and Firefox, Firefox without any Twitch extensions). It says "Sorry, a network error ocured when submitting your report. Please try again later". The issue has persisted for at least a day now and I can watch streams without any issues indicating that I do in fact have internet.
Please fix the report button and take action against accounts used for hate-raids.

Disable automatic notifications about new followers for people who never streamed A few minutes ago, I received a notification that a guy named hoss has started to follow me on Twitch.
The suggestion is pretty clear - in order to cope with the issue presented below, by default do not enable email notifications to people who have never streamed.
I have read Reddit post that went pretty viral a couple of days ago about a the very same user with different name variations who somehow IP grabs user profiles.

Additional Gaming Content Guidelines I would like to see more clarification on the Community Guidlines - Additional Gaming Content Guidelines. It states "Linking to sites that include slots, roulette, or dice games, or sharing affiliate links or referral codes to such sites is not allowed."
This leaves content creators at a guess as to what they can actually do. Can they speak about it? Can they link to their own homepages (and have the links there)? Is any gambling website (non-casino) allowed to advertise still in stream or links?

Auto muting streams is bad form Getting videos muted for playing in game music is just bad form. Bad form all around. I play SWTOR and even dialogue portions of my broadcast were muted due to this asinine policy.

I am unable to find where to submit feedback about reports of streamer violations not being acted upon. That is, Twitch's platform moderation ignoring reported TOS violations. There needs to be a way to contact someone higher up when this is occurring.
The specific reports being ignored are of streamers violating the "Nudity and Attire" rules in Just Chatting, some every stream, whoever is receiving reports of this is not doing anything because the streams continue without being moved to Pools, Hot Tubs & Beaches category.
Please get better moderators.

A /banall Command to Combat Followbots As a mod for an LGBTQ+ and trans streamer, we have been hit with a ton of followbots coming in and spamming chat with hateful intent. I had an idea for a command that would ban all accounts that have followed in a recent timeframe.
For example, (/banall 10) would ban all accounts that have followed in the last 10 minutes. This would greatly reduce the amount of time that moderators have to spend on banning all accounts separately. Have blocking a user also ban them from your chat Currently, blocked users can still send messages to you in your channel's chat. This is confusing for newer users since it requires 2 actions to actually block someone from interacting with you.
It is also a very strange use case to have "blocking" a user be an "only harass me in public" action- I do understand the use case for the inverse not being true (being banned from a channel should not block them) but since blocking already removes them from your followers and removes whisper access, not removing channel chat access seems illogical.17 votes -

Banned Username Approval Change if a account has been banned it needs to go threw a process before they can change just like when you have a emote removed because that is ban evading and they are still able to lurk and be around we currently see this going on with accounts that have been banned by multiple streamers but just change there name and continue to troll and bother the streamers

Random Follows and Unfollows attacks. Lately, I've been getting a ton of "follows" and "unfollows" from fake accounts that run streams spams or advertising some random malware or whatever it is that they're promoting. It's been consistent every day about 2-3 times a day. Visiting their page they all run the same video feed. And has the same text link on their screen to some external link.
Usually has some "manolia" name in their twitch name. But now starting to notice a wave of different random naming conventions instead.
I suggest that you guys create some sort of detection software that checks for massive follows…

Delete Voy Que Quemo from auto mute bot My VODs keep getting muted for no reasone because, guess what? VOY QUE QUEMO IS NEVER IN ANY OF MY STREAMS! Will you please check IN-GAME Music in certain video games like Need for Speed and inform users what they're allowed to use? I got this more than twice. First in Far cry 2, then in Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005, and now in Star Wars Battlefront II classic. I am wondering if music itself is not allowed here. Clear instructions on how to handle a hostile spam bot attack Given all of the recent issues with streamers experiencing these kinds of attacks perhaps a step by step outline of how best to deal with these attacks.
Ie:
1. Use moderator view
2. Emote only mode
3. Clear chat
4. Add term(s) to automod
5. Ban accounts involved with the attack
6. Report were applicable

CAPTCHA required during sign up It would be great if new users were required to fill out a CAPTCHA before making an account. It would help get rid of all the fake engagement and prevent mass of bot accounts from being made.
Twitch use to have it in 2017, but it appears to be gone now - its unclear if removing CAPTCHA from account creation was intentional or accident.

Rework How Suicidal/Self Harm related questions are handled If someone talking about suicide and/or self harm in chat, then banning someone from a platform that could potentially provide vital contact or support to them is not the answer needed for helping them.
