CAPTCHA required during sign up
It would be great if new users were required to fill out a CAPTCHA before making an account. It would help get rid of all the fake engagement and prevent mass of bot accounts from being made.
Twitch use to have it in 2017, but it appears to be gone now - its unclear if removing CAPTCHA from account creation was intentional or accident.

this should be done i was thinking there would be a captcha if we get 5 to 10 followers withing 30 sec it should be checked through captcha for further ones. for this i have also checked https://thedrivingtutors.com/pricing/

I would like to see a feature where if an account has a certain amount of follows within a certain time frame (e.g. 5 follows within a second) all follows for the next hour will require reCAPTCHA verification or something similar. The amount of follows and time frame required to trigger this would ideally be determined by the streamer, and the amount of time required to do the reCAPTCH would also be determined by the streamer.

Adding a Captcha to account creation would be a good step toward combating the prevalence of hate raids and view bots on the platform. Having a Captcha at account creation might also give Twitch more options when it comes to removing the bad actors who are the actual people behind these actions, as they would be actively subverting a site safety feature.

It still exists to this day, also to inform you, captcha doesn't stop bots, it just stops it to a degree, Bypassing Captcha is one of the easiest things for botters.
