mute vods and clips by default to protect your content creators from the dmca vultures, you should make all vods and clips muted by default pending review and the channel creator could manually un-mute after they have reviewed the content for any potential dmca audio.

Proliferation of safe educational Medical/Legal Recreactional Marijuana content The ToS says that you can't endanger yourself or break the law or consume illicit drugs, as marijuana has become legal in many states and legal medically in many more it seems obvious that accounts promoting safe consumption, creation, and general education about marijuana should be allowed and appreciated as opposed to banned as if they were promoting illegal behavior. There is a lot of this content on youtube already and it could exist here on twitch in a live format that would allow people to ask questions and actually get a response in real time.

Bring in more part-time staff to look through reports There is a strong contingency of mods or folks that work in community development and support that would be willing to help make this process faster and more streamlined. Whether it's part-time work, pay by report, or even a volunteer position to start, you have the ability to keep that human feel Emmett was so passionate about, give the community a chance to directly enhance the platform they enjoy, and help you in the long run.

Just Dance and Guitar Hero Dear Twitch, I was wondering if streaming Just Dance or Guitar Hero is allowed on your platform, since there is a lot of copyrighted music in these games. I don't know how the licenses work in that case.

Hi, I'm a small streamer who received a 7-day twitch penalty and now I can't upload emotes without the staff seeing it and it turns out that they tell me it was for making a black joke or being homophobic or something if I'm gay and never I would laugh at another person with my same sexuality or at straight people but it turns out that they couldn't send me any clip of what was the thing…1 vote -

How do ‘shadow bans’ work at twitch? I’ve been told that the system can work both automatically based on thresholds of reports submitted and can be manually applied to channels. Is this true?

In regard to appeals which are submitted to the site, are twitch overly concerned of the mental health aspect of users who operate accounts? Going point for point from your metal health guide, I know of instances where some streamers have been completely disconnected of any communication. Considering your own words here, can twitch do more when it comes to appeals? (https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/twitch-cares-mental-health-support-information?language=en_US)

Will streamers be penalized for games that require swearing and insults as part of their mechanics? Some games like Phasmophobia require gamers to swear and call the ghost names in order to cause it to appear. Would this affect the streamer in a negative aspect? Especially if the stream is Mature 18+ only.

Will symbols listed as offensive be allowed when present in video games or placed into proper historical context in stream content? The new policy seems very unclear as to if certain symbols will be allowed on stream when present in video games or represented in the proper historical context in lectures, presentations, and display. As a student of history, I quite enjoy games that are set in historical time periods and go to great lengths to keep the setting accurate. However, games about the American Civil War, WWII, etc. will contain symbols such as the Confederate Battle Flag and the Nazi swastika. I also enjoy being able to use props when I deliver a monthly historical lecture/presentation about various topics, including…

Add a "sort by" in the Banned Users section It would be good to have an option of a 'sort by' on the lists of "Username", "Added by" and "Time Banned".
When you go to your "Banned Users" list (Dashboard > Preferences > Moderation > Banned Chatters) the bans are in a totally random order. This makes it harder to sort out the list.
This will make it much easier to find a banned user, sort out your moderator team and see when you have the most bans, etc.
Thank you for reading and I hope this feature can be added, to give us streamers more flexibility.

Have report button next to users names when timed out, banned or a message deleted It would be nice if when you time out, ban or delete a message a report button shows up next to the users name. As a moderator I would like there to be an easier way to report a users message to Twitch.
Currently when ever you time out, ban or delete a message (using the Mod Icons that show up when the “Show Mod Icons“ setting is enabled) the user receives the punishment and the delete message button disappears no matter what punishment you give. It would be nice if when a message is deleted there is a report…1 vote
