follow bots This week i got follow botted - 170 bots on my channel. I took them all off but it took me a little bit to go through everything. Wish there was a fail-safe - unless someone is gifting subscriptions, no followers should be able to be purchased and put on someones account. This would also make it so creators cant buy followers that are fake. makes your ratings go down when you have a large number of followers but no one watching/ interacting and is not good for the channel

whisper scambots When whisper scambots [click link to lose steam credentials] are reported and confirmed to be scambots, twitch should contact the link site registrar and report abuse to stop new bot accounts continuing to spam that site.
Also whispers should have reported & confirmed links filtered so the whisper isn't delivered.
Twitch should also report to google.2 votes -
Unreasonable suspension against Traditional Chinese community 對於繁體中文社群的不合理停權 For the pass couple of months Traditional Chinese community has been suffering from unreasonable suspension by typing in chat which hasn't violate the "hateful conduct and harassment" from twitch community guidelines. Suspension reasons contains hateful speech, sexual harassment, etc.
For example, cursing in Chinese might have get you banned for 7 days plus, but the same meaning in English or other language will not get punished. Certain user even recieve suspension from chatting topics which is "related to streaming content" that has hardly even reach the boundries of communities guidelines.
It's literally taking weeks or months to get any feedback…

In Game Music should not be Muted since it's part of the Game already. If a song is part of the game, it should not be muted. If you're going to insist to have the stupid DMCA filters in place in the first place at least have them set to recognize songs that are in various games so I don't have parts of my stream muted for songs that the game comes with.

Blocked Users shouldn't see my messages Currently, if I block a person on Twitch, they can still see my messages in Twitch chat. I think it would be a lot better if a person cannot see the messages of someone who has them blocked, in the same way I can't see their messages if I have them blocked. It should go both ways.

content classification Labels are terrible The new Content Classification labels are lacking in nuance and provide more harm than good.
As opposed to a general "This stream is intended for mature audience and may include content inappropriate for general audiences" You've instead provided people with weapons to attack streamers with unless they flag their stream as inappropriate for everyone. It's already commonplace where minority streamers will get attacked with false reports of things like emotes being too sexual when they are clearly not.
Ultimately you're asking us all to trust that twitch moderation will act in the best interest of the community, something that is…

Users need tools to report Abusive mods or contest Reports against them Users need to know when Mods have reported them, banned them (even by accident) or placed them on Shared ban info lists to be able to contests them and fight against abusive mods.

Improved batch reporting The batch reporting tool is a good start, but it's not very useful. Please add a select all option and enable us to select a single report reason and add details to report all users at once instead of having to select each and every user. It's extremely tedious and time consuming when trying to report dozens or even hundreds or thousands of bots.

Designated support team for streamers being bullied with ToS strikes without actually breaking ToS Hello, I have felt like there are a few things that have been concerning for small streamers in regards to some of the ways their account/channels in particular have been handled. Being aware that putting out content on the internet brings a platform for all types of eyes which in turn puts creators at a risk for various sorts of individuals who come in and out of their streams who may have ill intentions. There have been a few instances where creators feel they were singled out. Harassment being an example I personally feel should be something that, if possible,…

Adding Distractive Driving to the list for reporting a stream. When reporting a stream, there is no specific choice for reporting a streamer who is interacting with chat while driving. Distractive Driving needs to be added to the list, so it's clear.

Include Gender Conversion Therapy Ban in Community Guidelines The community guidelines currently prohibit the encouragement, the use of, or generally endorsing sexual orientation conversion therapy.
This is good, but I would also like to see the same things being prohibited for gender conversion therapy.
Transgender people - especially youth - are often forced to undergo conversion therapy by their parents, their religion, etc, in order to force them to stop being trans. Just like sexual orientation conversion therapy, this does not work and actually harms the person undergoing it.
If Twitch truly cares about minorities, they need to include gender conversion therapy alongside sexual oreientation conversion therapy in…

Show viewers everything a channel owner or moderator can see about them in chat In light of features like shared ban info https://safety.twitch.tv/s/article/Safer-Together-Making-Twitch-Safer-with-Shared-Ban-Info , the suspicious user controls https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/suspicious-user-controls and users getting marked as suspicious (but not unmarked) as soon as a channel they are banned from raids another, I would like to request that you be more transparent about the effects of this terrible and poorly implemented "feature".
When I saw the announcement about it at TwitchCon EU 2022 in Amsterdam last year, it was already immediately obvious to me, that these features, intended to curtail harassment, are more than likely a poor aid, and much more likely to be abused as a…2 votes -
Allow viewers to watch a stream with Content Classification without forcing them to accept it throughout Twitch There are some streamers I enjoy watching who are very mild in certain categories of the Content Classification (or who occasionally play a game that is in a Content Classification). To watch them, I am required to approve of watching this content classification category. However, I did not realize that once I accept it for one stream, it is accepted for all streams. Now, anytime I click on a stream, I am no longer warned about this content classification, resulting in me entering streams I am not comfortable with, and with no way to turn the warnings back on as…

Include NSFW and SFW tags and apply it to the suggested feed I really think Twitch needs to expand the sexually suggestive tags and safe for work tags. Specifically, I think this should apply to what content is recommended from the front page of Twitch for a user and in the advertisements.
I listen to my favorite streamers in public places, and I do not want to be suggested the NSFW streams for obvious reasons.

Gambling Hello twitch,
Please start enforcing your community guidelines rules regarding gambling as outlined in the October 18th 2022 disclosure. For some reason you choose to ban sites such as "stake" and "rollbit", but allow others that are much worse such as "punt".
The October 18th post states that Twitch will "prohibit any streaming of listed sites that contain slots, roulette, and dice games and are unlicensed in the U.S.", yet the site "punt" is not only illegal in the United States, but they also have no KYC, meaning anyone of any age can play on the site.
Please add this…

ilegal casinos still running and twitch is closing the eyes on their own TOS's.. I have previously submitted reports on over 20+ Portuguese streamers and Iive streams who are engaging in the use of unregulated, illegal casinos in Portugal. Some even demonstrate how to employ a VPN to circumvent country restrictions. Unfortunately, Twitch seems to be disregarding these reports and continues to permit these streamers to promote and participate in these illicit and fraudulent casino activities. It's disheartening.
Apparenty the "trick" to not be banned is not saving the VOD or clips....
Can you guys start applying the TOS's ?..

Casino interesting that twitch publishes extended rules for casinos here, but is not interested in it. gamdom continues to be streamed and promoted. but twitch is not interested. csgo skin is also advertised further, no reaction here either. twitch is becoming increasingly unsympathetic.

Let musicians provide proof exempting them from muted VODs/copyright strikes for their own content! I play my own band's music and keep getting my VODs muted and automatically stopped publishing my VODs. My music category streams when I play covers are set not to publish per DMCA guidelines. But I purposely premiere new songs, lyric videos, and use our songs as intro/outro on gaming streams so they can exist in the VODs.
