1. If you are banned from a channel, please remove them from your "recommended channels" carousel

   When a person is banned from a channel, it turns out that the channel which they were banned from can be put on their recommended carousel.

   First, it makes no sense to be offered a recommendation to a channel that wishes you not to go there. But also, for a case when a person is unaware why they are banned, it adds quite a bit of anxiety to see it repeatedly recommended and provides a less than stellar experience.

   This should be a common sense feature to be approved.

   Why is the term '******' accepted at Twitch/Amazon? From what I can see it's completely acceptable for streamers/Twitch chatters to use this term freely.

3. My video was stolen and used to file DMCA claims against me. Stop letting people who don't own the audio file a DMCA claim.

   I played one of my own YouTube videos on my stream and it got muted because someone reuploaded the video to YouTube and Spotify SEVEN YEARS LATER and claims to own it.

   I AM LITERALLY IN THE VIDEO. IT IS VERY EASY TO TELL I AM THE PERSON WHO MADE IT. I believe these false claims are a form of harassment against me, as many women & trans people on Twitch face similar types of aggression.

   My VODs get unpublished every time I stream now because someone has been given permission by Twitch to claim they own MY work!!

4. Better Content Classification Options (Poss Safety Issue)

   The New Content Classification drop down appeared today and the mature content has been removed. However, The categories need to be developed further and made clearer.

   For example - In my stream I have always put the mature content warning on - not for any specific reason. Occassionally there is some light harmless inuendo as part of the banter (nothing really worse than someone mispeaking something that sounded a bit rude, or someone making a 'said the actress to the bishop' comment.)

   According to the new options, this would mean I would have to label my stream as having 'Sexual Themes' and be labelled in the same way that someone who has content to draw attention to certain body parts and having them take up the majority of the screen.

   It also feels totally unsafe to put a 'Sexual Themes' warning on my stream for light inuendo, as it would almost certainly attract the wrong kind of viewer. Can these labels be further defined with more options asap please?

   I do feel this is about to cause more issues than it will fix.

   They need there own category to be required to be in. Streams with someone shaking their buttocks in the camera should not be allowed in categories such as Art. I am sick of seeing preview images of them in channel lists. It is disgusting. We should have a choice in whether we see that or not.

6. Hate raid follow bots

   The current wave of harassment bots mass generate accounts seconds before they follow, typically making accounts and following sequentially so that their usernames read out as a torrent of abuse.
   It is clear that automation is used to create these accounts and command them to follow. It should not be possible to create accounts with automation.
   Therefore do the following things:
   Implement recapture or other real human authentication method for account creation.
   IP block for account creation on the same IP within an hour.
   Introduce a feature to Shield Mode that prevents unverified accounts from being able to follow at all.

7. Suspension being used as a hate tool

   There has to be a better way before going into suspension of an account for something said either in private or public chats. I have experience 3 different people from the LGTBQ+ community be hate reported and suspended for "unsolicited sexual advances" and this being automated is a huge problem as the community can be targeted, you need to have person review this kind of reports before suspending as its not fair for people to get suspensions on the word of a report

8. Stop the nepotism

   There have been many cases where people have been suspended for blatant rule violations by committing sexual and or vulgar acts, however these ban/suspension durations (if they get banned or suspended at all) seem to be directly related to the large following and income they bring to twitch. it would seem to me and most anyone with access to your site, that it is an unfair practice to simply pick and choose who you decide to allow to break the agreements based off of the monetary value they create. Ive recently started streaming myself, and have had one viewer suspended for simply making a joke that was far less crass than my stream itself, and if the twitch moderators were to review this stream they would see that it was in good fun, my response even reflects how i received the joke in jest. there are cases like "toadphd" where suggested advice is less than safe, but everyone knows its just humor, yet no actions are taken, as they shouldnt be, because it is light hearted viewer interaction. however, "amouranth" and streamers like her all walk right up to the line of your guidelines, spit on them and and cross over them in almost every stream (partial nudity, suggestive sexual behavior, clearly selling her ip for traffic to a more sexual platform), yet every suspension and ban is almost immediately lifted. explain to me how that is equal or fair enforcement. either ban and suspend all of these large streamers with the same magnitude, or simply stop suspending or banning people all together. let the community moderate itself because clearly twitch cant do it with any sense of fairness. Stop the nepotism.

9. Sexual Content Policy Update

   To Whom it May Concern at Twitch and whoever else decides to read this,

   While I am not someone who streams on Twitch, though have considered it, and who rarely finds myself watching streams, I still had been rather excited for the recent, now declared null, update to the TOS/Policy on Sexual Content.

   I am not someone who participates all that often in adult content, but I do believe that it should be able to exist in adult spaces for those who do wish to participate. The internet has become a hostile places for those who wish to see or participate in adult spaces, which in turn makes it harder to create safe adult communities with proper monitoring and safety in mind.

   I do not believe the sudden take back of the content policy change was the right thing to do. If anything I believe the best thing Twitch could have done was instead move in the direction of banning the machine learning(AI) content that was mentioned as a reason behind this rollback because of the whole "not being able to tell because of how lifelike it is."
   If there is an obvious problem area — AI content — then that is what should be focused on, not a blanket ban on content. Especially when you readily admitted that most of the content was in line with the new policy and that any content that wasn't was dealt with accordingly.

   Censorship does not work in the way that most people and companies think it does. The only thing censoring content, especially fictional content, does is tilt in favor of those who wish to use the censoring to get rid of anything they do not like, and honestly starts to feel like we're toeing the edges of certain ideals(fas cist) and that we're trying to reinstate the Hays Code <-- something people should look up to learn about why this isn't the way we should be going.

   While I understand the concerns of some people wanting to keep adult content away from minors, and not wishing to see it themselves, there are a few things that they should keep in mind:

   1. It is not the responsibility of adults who create adult content in adult spaces to cater or to look after kids that appear in those spaces. This is entirely the responsibility of the parents, and to an extent the website, to do and prevent.
      If you are afraid that seeing such things will "corrupt their minds" then that sounds like something you have to deal with in yourself, and is also in your responsibilities as a parent and adult to teach your kids about internet safety and sex education.

   2. Online isn't just for kids and adults shouldn't have to give up their spaces for kids. We're allowed to exist and do adult things and we shouldn't have to worry about kids breaking OUR boundaries to access OUR spaces.

   3. If you don't want to see it then don't watch it. No one is forcing you to watch the things you do not want to see.

   4. In my experience online most anyone that has a "think of the children" mindset usually doesn't actually care about kids and is using the kids as an excuse to attack the actual thing they don't want to see. If this is not the case then all my points still stand. If it is, then you should probably have a think about what it really is that you're against and why. Your disgust is not a measure of morality.

   ---

   Now, onto what I think Twitch should do:

   1. Separate the adult content from spaces where minors can view or access it. This is not the same as removing it completely.

   2. Create a proper block/blacklist/filtering system that allows people to remove content tagged with certain labels and mature ratings from their feed entirely so they do not have to see what they do not want to.

   3. As an addition to point two, be vigilant and dedicated to making sure that people tag/rate their content properly so the tagging and rating systems work properly.

   4. Be transparent about what adult content is allowed on twitch. As in if you say fictional adult content, be sure to make it clear that all fictional characters must be over the age of eighteen, which I am sure was/is already a rule, but better to restate it than not. Also add examples of allowed content.
      This kind of thing can be tricky though as you cannot really discern age of someone off appearance alone. Example being I just turned thirty and people think I am younger than my sister who is four years younger than me. Or that there are many people who are adults but have small chests or small stature.

   5. Actually have a plan and be ready for the influx of content when you make sure changes to your site. As mentioned previously, most of the internet is a hostile place for adult content so when someone gives the ok to such, there will always be those who push the boundaries to see what is and is not allowed — be transparent about what is ok — and as long as you monitor it then everything should be ok. Of course the beginning will be a bit rocky, but things never start out going the exact way we want them to go, and running away does not allow progress to be made.
      Hire more moderators and pay them fairly for their work.

   6. Remove machine learning(AI) ccontent if it is such a problem that one cannot tell if it is real or not.

11. Mature audience only & blur screen options for all clips, especially featured clips

    I notice for streams there are options to classify the stream 'for a mature audience only'. I have made clips and featured clips from my live stream, which are for a mature audience only. However, for clips, especially 'featured clips' there is no option to classify the clips, featured or not.

    When will the 'mature audience only' option be available for clips and a blur screen option for all clips exhibiting adult only content?

    Have a option where followers have to verify their account through email/phone, to put a limit/ halt on bot accounts created, ive gotten over 200+ bot follows in the last 3 hrs and since im just starting my account, i dont want it to be flagged or banned for something that i cant stop.

13. Better Appeals System

    I believe the system for users to appeal bans could be better improved by submitting an actual description and even getting the opinion of the streamer. I had two friends in my chat and ‘Friend 1’ made a comment (Something to the effect of “…kill @Friend2UserName !!” while playing a first person shooter) and ‘Friend 2’ thought it would be funny to ‘report’ the comment of Friend 1. Well, without review, Friend 1 was banned and denied appeal. Friend 2 even admitted that he did the report jokingly and there was nothing malicious about the comment. Friend 1 was an aspiring streamer who now is forced to stream …elsewhere… and hates it. Friend 2’s decision to make a joke report was uncalled for and the report option should only be used in serious matters. I wish there was a little more to the review process to help these people who were unjustly banned and completely innocent.

16. Homepage for Communities of Adults and Adult Creators

    the tldr;
    i would RATHER be able to select an option to actually ONLY see adult creators/communities on the homepage, only mature/18+ streams, and i don't want to have to click a verify thing every time i enter their chat.

    how about, now hear me out, how about instead of "shadowbanning" (which is what twitch is doing preventing adult themed content from appearing on the homepage), just give users an option to opt in to see mature content within their account, so that it is only advertising adult creators to other opted-in adult creators/viewers. personally, i would rather even go so far as to choose to NOT see "everyone" rated content on the homepage when i go to twitch, and actually, i don't even use the homepage for this reason, i just use https://www.twitch.tv/directory/following/live instead.

    sure i understand you're setting guidelines regarding the public view of twitch from a nonaccount holder perspective, who may just go to twitch.tv for the first time ever and what they see certainly should be like, esrb rating EVERYONE. but i would rather be able to select that when i with my account log in to twitch and i go to the homepage, i would like to select (as with esrb) Everyone, Teen, Mature.

    personally, my stream has graphic language, tobacco use, and some sexual themes. i don't want to have a constant uphill struggle as i grow on twitch - and i don't want to create "content for children" or be forced to create content for communities of children in order to get ahead on twitch. i was "shadowbanned" on youtube years ago because of tobacco use, placing me in the same boat as sexworkers and models. i was growing well, and barely made their 200 subscriber threshold, then they increased their requirements and changed their terms and i never even reached the payout threshold to collect what earnings i had made.

    this being said, i am not monetized on twitch nor do i have any outside partnerships and sponsorships, and all i see from my position is that its been a real struggle and now that struggle is only going to be more difficult, and i don't see how the current "restrictions" regarding content classification is actually helping adult creators grow, this is why i am posting it here. if it should be in feature requests instead, then i am glad to post it there too.

18. Twitch => Pornitch

    HALLO! An den Leser dieser Nachricht: Ich verurteile nicht Sie als Person, sondern die geldgierigen Entscheidungsträger dieser Plattform!

    Beschwerde:
    Ich mochte Twitch immer und ich werde es weiter nutzen, aber ich wollte wenigstens einmal für mein eigenes Gewissen rückmelden wie entsetzlich und beschämend es ist, dass Twitch zu einer halben Pornoseite geworden ist auf der diverse junge Menschen dazu verleitet werden ein falsches Frauenbild zu erlernen und ggf sogar Geld in den Rachen dieser bemitleidenswerten "Damen" zu werfen.
    Vor dem Gesetz ist das natürlich nicht strafbar, da ja jeder selber auf seine Kinder aufpassen muss(was nahezu unmöglich ist), aber moralisch gesehen ist das einfach nur abscheulich.

    Ich weis, dass ich nicht gehört werden werde, aber mein Vorschlag ist die Rückkehr zu alten Twitchstandards , wo soetwas wie Whirlpoolzeugs und anderes als Spiele nicht erlaubt sind. Just Chatting sollte herausgeno0mmen werden, da ansonsten immer wieder Einzeldebatten mit diesen Damen entstehen die es immer wieder schaffen ihren Mist iwie zu "rechtfertigen".
    Habe eben erst wieder die Pornodarstellerin Morgpie in einem stream gesehen... das ist echt unfassbar.

    Ja, ohne just chatting und dergleichen werden gewisse Twitch-Herrschaften weniger Geld einnehmen, aber man könnte dann wenigstens noch morgens in den Spiegel schauen(vorausgesetzt da würde noch Reflexion und moralisches Verständnis vorherrschenhust).

    Falls das nicht möglich ist, sollte man Twitch vll offiziell zur Pornoseite umstrukturieren, dann würde wenigstens offen und ehrlich damit umgegangen werden.

For some reason this hasn't been implemented for clips. And even though most of my streams are now labeled as pal world, yet the clips I took from those streams are now labeled as pal Even though they aren't pal.. because we have one game that has the first three letters of another game. Don't know what PAL is, but because of all this frustration I may never play it LIKE EVER ...WHICH MEANS the wrong content id trouble has Successfully demoted this product thats kinda what this bug has done. to avoid future incidents, I would suggest creating a settings option where we can manually override the content ID systems for certain game clips that sound similar but are not the same For some reason we can change this content id for our streams, but not our clips. I don't know why it's not available yet. and it makes no sense to me that it wouldn't be.
