Help ordinary users by allowing us to access channel history data, for example its ban history, that we can access before subscribing. Sometimes Twitch might recommend a channel, and we go there, dedicate much effort to good participation in it, support the streamer by using the Amazon link, then for no apparent reason, suddenly we have a notice that our account is permanently banned. This could ruin almost one month of a subscription, perhaps even more.
If ordinary users have a little power too, to access a channel's ban rate for example, then we might know to be wary about dedicating ourselves as much to the channel, and perhaps not even to subscribe to that particular channel.

Remove followers tool Please add a feature that allows the Streamer to manually remove followers. Banning a user doesn't remove them from your followers list anymore. Users are still able to receive notifications of all of your activity, or in the case of stalkers and ban evaders, they just create new accounts to follow you around to receive these notifications and keep tabs on you.

Regex filters and whitelist rules Given the widespread use of hostile bots on Twitch right now by bad actors, particularly those targeting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, it would be great if we could have a RegEx pattern block/ban/follow restriction option. A number of the accounts being spun up for the purpose of harassing and stealing the identities of streamers have consistent name patterns, and being able to issue a regex block/ban on those patterns would be useful.
This sort of feature would obviously be something that streamers would have to use at their own risk. Overly inclusive block/ban patterns could potentially limit legitimate viewers. But…

Ban Sponsored Gambling Streams Sponsored gambling streams should not be allowed on Twitch because of Twitch's policies and sponsored gambling streams effects.
On the twitch safety center it states that community comes first and safety is personal. Allowing sponsored gambling steams on twitch goes against these policies by not first helping the community but rather turning a blind eye to them, and not the safety of those viewers as they are being exploited for profit.
Not allowing sponsored gambling steams will stop exportation of viewers for profit. The website pays the content creator to gamble on their gambling platform. They do this to get…

The Issue with the Hot Tub Meta Recently in the twitch community, there has been a rise of hot tub streamers also known as the "Hot Tub Meta". This has been a very controversial issue but I'm going to give my thoughts on the issue and hopefully twitch will do something about this. On twitch TOS it's stated "Content or camera focus on breasts, buttocks, or pelvic region, including poses that deliberately highlight these elements". This means any sort of content that deliberately does these would be against TOS. Now when we look at how the Hot Tub Meta we can see that it's unhealthy and unfair…

I cannot know whether or not I should appeal something without evidence of what actually happened. I was recently suspended with the option to appeal. Problem is, I can’t appeal something if I can’t see what I was suspended for.
I was not sent any proof of what I was suspended for. How am I supposed to appeal something if I am not given proof of what happened?
For example “You are suspended. Appeal here.”
“Appeal what? What did I do that needs to be appealed?”
Was there a legit nip slip that obviously does not warrant an appeal? Cheap clothing can sometimes be too thin. Is there a particular outfit I was wearing that was…

Make better decisions when banning Make better decisions when you ban people and look more into it, you always ban my favorite streamers over the stupidest things. They could say one cuss word and you will ban them. Twitch is supposed to be an entertainment platform for all ages and for us older people we are more entertained by someone close to our age, we can relate better and we can engage better but when your banning streamers we watch over the little things, like their adult humor, we tend to get annoyed with your platform. My idea is to make better decisions when you…

vomiting you should allow vomiting on streams because, Authenticity and Realism: Some proponents argue that vomiting can be a genuine and realistic representation of certain activities, such as intense physical challenges, eating contests, or even certain medical conditions. Allowing vomiting on streams might enable streamers to showcase the raw and unfiltered aspects of their experiences, adding an extra layer of authenticity to their content.
Freedom of Expression: Advocates for more permissive content policies may argue that removing the "no vomiting" rule would be an extension of freedom of expression. By allowing streamers to display a wider range of bodily experiences, Twitch…

Sexual education content Twitch recently introduced the ‘content classified’ categories.
I am talking about sexual education, no nudity, and I have been classified as “sexual themes”.
It is a nightmare for me as hot tub girls are also classified as “sexual themes”
Viewers come to my stream asking me when I will get more naked. They also tell me I shouldn’t say “sexual themes” as I am not doing hot tub.
I understand we need to protect children but please we need to add “sexual education” classified content.
I cannot stream with this category1 vote -
Twitch's report tool for ordinary users in DMCA violation cases Twitch's complaints system is completely ineffective in dealing with DMCA violations.
It's part of Twitch's rules, that Twitch considers complaints against DMCA violations only from copyright holders. But how copyright holders could reach small channels, for 5-10 viewer? Of course they can't! And any day, any night i can see a dozens of active channels that broadcast movies and TV series without any rights to do so, grossly violating their user agreements with Twitch and DMCA, but i can't even report them for this.
If I want to complain about a violation of DMCA, I'm redirected to pages with lists…

new content labels The new labels are redundant and invasive. you already have to click yes that you'd like to view mature content. why is it needed to click through another warning? why cannot the content labels just be displayed rather than a click through. I suggest this because my content is already labeled 18+ all the content warnings are included in 18+. so stop requiring the content warnings as click through and add it as a visual label on top of the mature content click through.
you're just creating another barrier for viewers to actually reach out streams.

audio fix Xerroxipleiades,
Multiple instances of copyrighted audio have been detected in your VOD(s) within the past 24 hours. As a precautionary step to reduce your risk of receiving a DMCA takedown notification in the future, your default stream settings were updated to store new VODs in an unpublished state for your review first. The segments of your VOD(s) containing copyrighted audio were muted, and any corresponding clips were deleted.
To be clear, this action did not result from a DMCA notification, and no copyright strikes were issued to your account. At the same time, we emphasize that any unauthorized material you…

Contents Label of each countries For now, content labels are based on the ESRB. However, I believe that standards should be set against the countries and languages of the streams.
For example, there are cases of violence in ESRB but not in CERO. In addition, the content is sometimes modified depending on the country in which it is released, so it is not appropriate to apply uniform standards.

Content warnings Having content warnings is absolutely ridiculous for anyone who is over 18. Don't treat your users who are adults like children. We don't need to be warned that the people we sub to swear in their streams.

Muchas gracias!1 vote -
I would like the Content label for Family Friendly/non-swearing commentary I see the new stream labels, but don't see one for those who don't swear on screen. we feel kinda left out in the label update.

A username AT user.twitch.tv email address for chat ban appeals and other stuff not meant for chatting public If you want to talk about reinstating chat rights to someone who thinks they've been wrongly chat banned, there should be some way to get a hold of this person, especially from more than 5 years ago.
So twitch streamers don't have to give out their private email addresses they should be given a public email address that ends in twitch.tv. , Maybe @user.twitch.TV to differentiate it from corporate people who write from twitch?
That way they could deal with administration of their twitch stream fairly and honestly without involving the chatting public.
This was based on my experiences over…

More age levels than just Mature and Ages. I couldn't tell if one stream in my personal experience long ago was supposed to be for young children and family audiences or if it was supposed to be for teen audiences.
I tried to be careful but I said one wrong thing, that would be considered rated T on a video game, and I got immediately thrown off and suspended from their twitch chat without giving a chance to explain or anything like that.
At the time there was no rule about the level of chat that was expected from the audience. Like for example you could request the…
