Allow Verified Adults in Restricted Regions (MENA) to Bypass CCL Geoblocks
I am a verified adult user and a channel moderator based in Tunisia. Despite completing a manual birthdate verification with Twitch Support (proving I am of legal age), I am still receiving the error: "Due to your age and/or region, you cannot access this content."
Due to these "regional regulations" related to Content Classification Labels (CCLs), every time the stream I mod for raids into a friend's stream, I'm unable to access the latter.
While I understand Twitch must comply with local laws, the current system is too restrictive for verified adults as I am still blocked from content that is legally accessible in my country but flagged by Twitch's automated regional filters.
Please allow a "manual review" or a secondary verification for users in restricted regions to access content if they can prove they are of legal age. Additionally, please provide more specific information on which exact label (Gambling, Sexual Themes, etc.) is triggering the block so we can communicate with the streamers we support.

Agreed. It's not even complying with local laws.
The restriction is a broad stroke for MENA region decided by rule of opinion, not fact of local law.
MENA has a conservative part of society, yes, but an adult can (legally):
- Consume alcohol
- Visit (or work at) cabarets
- Gamble
- and so onWhile the generalization is conservative, that does not negate the fact that these are allowed legally.
Assigning "region" restriction on a region with multi-application of law is a mistake and only serves the most restricted mindset, not the local laws.
To clarify even more, just so that no one jumps on the "it's about lewd content". No, it is not, and yes, why not?
A region consists of many countries. What happens if ONE of those countries restricts political talks? Are the rest just piled up with it?
What about social debates? It is restricted in two countries in MENA region. Will that also be piled up as "MENA restriction"?
It is a naive decision. Local laws does not equal regional law. There is no such thing as regional law.
A citizen living in one country is not restricted by the laws of the neighboring or regional countries.
