Twitch bans need to be handled better.
There was a very public Twitch partner that was doing something to warrant their Twitch ban. After swiping through social media I found out that not only were they back on the platform, but re-gained Twitch partnership.
Upon finding this information I quickly grabbed Instagram links, along with previous evidence of a ban-able offense on the platform only to see that they only got maybe a 2 week vacation (suspension) and started to stream on another platform.
Site wide bans, regardless on why the report happens should be looked at by human eyes. To hear that automated systems are in place for reports only to be disappointing that the offending streamer is suspended and not banned makes the system completely flawed.
Now I understand that if there was a personal review for every report, you would have to hire hundreds of people to broaden your safety staff. But the time I put into that report, made me feel like the fruits of my effort was completely wasted. I wish and hope that Twitch would be in the position to not make me feel like that again.
I don't care if it takes days, weeks, or months, but the fix I'm proposing is to just put extra human eyes on every report based on severity, and personally I feel like ban evasion is the strongest of reasons.
