1. Remove CEO Dan Clancy

   Stop the increase of antisemitic hate, and attacks on the platform. It's just really sickening to see and it's driving advertisers away in droves. Twitch ad payouts are the lowest they have ever been, even huge streamers are not seeing much in terms of ad revenue payout.

   The CEO Dan Clancy, openly allows the double standards in place. Certain streamers can openly glaze, stream, and talk up terrorist propaganda, however other streamers are banned for things tiny in comparison. Honestly, at this point, Twitch, the CEO seem complicit together at this point, and for the average person like me, it's severely off putting.

   I'm a normal person, a normal guy, I never would have even found this "user voice," idea threads if I hadn't had such an extreme distaste for what the platform I used to love has become. From a place of community and love to a violent breeding ground of hatred. Now people in the real world are being killed because of the rhetoric, and I sit here and wonder; will it ever change?

3. Please enforce your community guidelines and TOS.

   There has been an increasing amount of promotion of terrorist acts and general violence and hate towards streamers or ethnic groups.

   I think as humans we're all equal, and thus should be held accountable on equal terms. It feels like twitch has been biased towards specific groups in recent years. And actively promotes bad actors within it's community.

   We need to hold eachother accountable, and even if it's just a slap on the wrist, to avoid promoting such content on your platform will be a great step towards a better community. Please consider taking action against channels promoting hate speech, violence and terrorist acts.

4. Browser sparing compression of mass new suspicious user entry into modtools

   It seems that the entry of many bots at once can crash a mod's browser if they have mod view open. It also seems that there should be a way to isolate and combine such influxes to be acted on without crashing the browser.

5. Allow Streamers to award Channel Points to Viewers

   With the introduction of Power Ups in the Channel Point Rewards menu, and the possibility of custom Power Ups on the horizon, I believe it is time for Twitch to allow streamers the option to manually award viewers with channel points.

   My stream experience heavily revolves around the interactions and activities I create using the Channel Point rewards menu. However, my viewers often spend their points faster than they can earn them, which ultimately halts all stream interactions until they regain enough points by watching. While this increases watch time for dedicated viewers, it can also drive others away or encourage them to lurk passively to rebuild their points.

   I propose combining the Power Ups and Channel Points systems into one unified idea. Streamers could set both Bit prices and Channel Point prices for all rewards, giving viewers the choice to bypass the wait time by spending Bits or to grind channel points to unlock rewards for free. Both options support the channel and Twitch monetization while allowing more flexibility for viewer engagement. To balance this, streamers should also have the ability to reward points to viewers who do not spend Bits.

   Here are some examples of how streamers could award points:

   • Grant points to viewers who share or retweet your stream on social media platforms.
   • Create rewards tied to gameplay. For instance, award points for winning rounds or participating in community activities, offering opportunities outside of predictions.
   • Give a bonus to the first viewer who joins the chat.

   These features could greatly enhance viewer engagement and create more dynamic interactions, making the streaming experience rewarding for both streamers and their audiences.

   the bots are now using versions of English looking letters to bypass being able to auto ban them. could we remove the non English fonts from stream use please? so they cannot come in changing just one letter and getting past our auto mods. in fact sadly twicth needs to ban certain combinations of words like cheap viewers and best viewers in all font variations, the bots hope you'll accidentally click the link as the host and they can get in and steal your account if your virus programs are not able to catch them. its a serious safty concern for all of twitch and its communities

7. Restrictions on Vtubers and women are a sexist, unfair, and gynophobia double standard

   It's sexist. Censorship and policing of v tubers and the like is policing fiction rather than real people and it's just the same misogyny. It's gynophobia. over polygons. Remember, not too long ago twitch had problems of abuse and misconduct with people that worked for them.

   That's the harm. that's the sexism. not v tubers. It's the treatment of the people making content on this site.

   That is what is harmful here.
   And this is not just about women. Notice I said people. I think we'd all be doing a lot better in this industry if we recognized that a company that shamelessly mistreats any single group of people is probably mistreating all their employees in some way, shape, or form.

   THAT is the harm. not chevage on polygons or "revealing clothing".

   Now, does this make sense? That this is all performative? This is all a smokescreen? We see you, Twitch. The fact that these employees are brave enough to actually go and file these complaints while twitch is on the run like this, mad props to them. We all know this is going on. We all know this is happening. That is where sexism is happening. The v-tubers on the screen, the cleavage on the woman, that's not hurting anybody. There are paintings and pictures in the real world that have some cleavage showing. You know, classic art. It's not hurting anybody.

   Twitch thinks it can pacify viewers and investors and advertisers toning down things and faceless women. They think they're doing something progressive. it's not.

   This is the kind of stuff that actually doesn't make things more female-friendly. It actually insults women's intelligence

   Twitch's censorship of women and their bodies and the like when they themselves had abusers on staff is not a good look. We can have gore and shooting games but some how we shun women's bodies in a very anti-feminist way? Let's get in to how disrespectful it is.

   Correct me if i'm wrong but i hear that "revealing clothing for V tubers is now going to be disallowed. Now if it's just to require a tag, and are equivalent to restrictions on real live people then this help suggestion is null. However. there is a very censorship happy push and a very corporate c-suite bigotry that is and has been harming women for over a decade now. It's no different than the measuring of skirts we had for "decency" when the Christians did it. or "she was asking for it".

   Instead of recognizing that the goal, the idea, the ideal we're supposed to be moving towards is that women—everybody—but in this case, women should be respected regardless of what they're wearing. Even if somebody does something awful, you still respect them as a human being.

   And this is why gamers push back against this stuff. It's not because they're all "Unga Bunga, me want *****." That's not what it is. It's that they recognize this stuff is all smoke and mirrors. "Oh, you can make her less sexual, but women are fine." No, you still can't leave a virtual group of polygons alone.

   This is the frustrating part of this stuff, that the players are getting treated like **** because the players are savvy enough to see through this ******** and are willing to talk about it. Willing to be crapped on for it.

   Why is the term '******' accepted at Twitch/Amazon? From what I can see it's completely acceptable for streamers/Twitch chatters to use this term freely.

9. Better Enforcement of Policies To Anyone Under Suspension/Ban

   Better enforcement of policies regarding individuals who are under suspension/ban. Anyone who commits violations to the ToS should get suspended/banned based on the offense, and if said individual commit any other violations (ban evasion, appearing on another person's account, etc.) while suspended/banned, they should automatically be hit with a permanent ban.

10. Changes that do need to happen to better the platform

    Honestly if you have a thriving community and get suspended you can't interact with anyone at all. You are yanked out from your freinds and no real way to communitate unless you have other platforms. This can be very damaging and can be dangerous for the individual. The process of appeal or the way suspentions are given give you no feedback or redemption literlaly removing the individuals freedom of speach. Putting everything in the hand of an automated system that plays with peoples life work and hobbies. Honestly I suggest a more humane system that allows a period of time where the streamer can be redeemed. A better feedback system that includes timestamps from the vod. I also suggest a grace perioud to say good bye to their communities so the individual can move over platform peacefully btw this is given to people on death row so its not much to ask. I also suggest a more indept appeal system that has the user fill out a form that informs them what they did wrong and what to do to avoid repeat offences and for the person to debunk claim with access to the vod in question.

13. Better enforcement in specific "safe" categories, send users with Sexual Content to their correct category.

    Please apply a little enforcement on Sexual Content users using incorrect categories such as "Just Chatting" when they should be using "Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches" for example.

14. Artistic Nudity and Clipping

    With Twitch's new sexual content policy changes I wanted to know how will this affect some streamers who aren't labeled as sexual content when they get raided by someone who shows artistic nudity?

    There is a feature some streamers have where when they are raided by someone a bot automatically shows a random clip from that persons stream. (Although personally I think that feature is already a bad idea)

    Will they get penalized if that random clip just happens to feature artistic nudity?

15. Allow Affiliate Onboarding to Accept Paypal instead of giving out your SSN

    Allowing users to complete the Affiliate Application by using their Paypal or another method that doesn't include sharing their SSN would be a major step privacy wise.

    If someone's SSN gets stolen, it can ruin them financially for years to come or even for life. This is why we are told never to share that number. Having a work around where we can file the taxes ourselves without having to give out our SSN to Twitch or Amazon would be beneficial to all involved and would help reduce the chances of people getting their SSN stolen.

    Posting this in safety as well because having to give out your SSN is a giant security risk

    The current wave of harassment bots mass generate accounts seconds before they follow, typically making accounts and following sequentially so that their usernames read out as a torrent of abuse.
    It is clear that automation is used to create these accounts and command them to follow. It should not be possible to create accounts with automation.
    Therefore do the following things:
    Implement recapture or other real human authentication method for account creation.
    IP block for account creation on the same IP within an hour.
    Introduce a feature to Shield Mode that prevents unverified accounts from being able to follow at all.

    Please allow the editing of a reason for a channel ban.
    Specifically, allow the editing of the reason text of a channel ban, without unbanning the user in question first. It is important that the user stays banned during this process, and that the timestamp of when the user was initially banned is preserved.
    I am someone who likes to tell users why they have been banned, often in great detail, so that they may easily see the error of their ways and show remorse for their actions before submitting an unban request. However, it is a regular occurrence, that a user who has been banned for one thing, is later found out to have done other ban worthy things, either earlier without my awareness, or later on, that I would like to also include. This would be helpful in giving everyone involved a better picture of the severity of their infractions.

18. Targeted Veteran Harassment

    This has been going on for years, yet for some reason Twitch cant seem to block these phrases from being used to harass VETERANS who are just enjoying their time on twitch. They literally block words like GTFO which is a game on steam and many other phrases that can be used to target other people, races and genders yet something like this gets through? What if a person killed them self because of this harassment? Would twitch do something then or would they be held liable along with the person that's harassing the veteran?     This has been going on for years, yet for some reason Twitch cant seem to block these phrases from being used to harass VETERANS who are just enjoying their time on twitch. They literally block words like GTFO which is a game on steam and many other phrases that can be used to target other people, races and genders yet something like this gets through? 19. All game skins gambling should be banned.

    Game skin gambling was added to the guidelines a while ago.
    Skin gambling on all games, including RUST, as well as CSGO should be banned.
    Guidelines need to be updated.

20. Allow viewers to watch a stream with Content Classification without forcing them to accept it throughout Twitch

    There are some streamers I enjoy watching who are very mild in certain categories of the Content Classification (or who occasionally play a game that is in a Content Classification). To watch them, I am required to approve of watching this content classification category. However, I did not realize that once I accept it for one stream, it is accepted for all streams. Now, anytime I click on a stream, I am no longer warned about this content classification, resulting in me entering streams I am not comfortable with, and with no way to turn the warnings back on as far as I'm aware.

    A way to fix this is that when a prompt appears, a user can choose one of the following options:

    -They do not wish to see this content
    -They choose to watch this stream but still want the prompts to appear in the future
    -They choose to fully accept this content classification prompt for all of Twitch

    This way, if a viewer wishes to avoid certain Content Classifications, but their favourite streamer is streaming something of this Content Classification, they aren't forced to accept this Content Classification for all of Twitch.

    Also, there should be a way to allow a viewer to make the Content Classification warnings come back after they were approved at one point, as accidentally approving it removes the safety they provide to viewers who are not comfortable with viewing that type of content.
